Alex picked up my call and was able to stop by the same day to diagnose my issue with a clogged dryer vent.

Turned out that a bird's nest was clogging the vent. Alex cleaned it out and mentioned that it might take a few days for the dryer to work properly again (after the ductwork dried out).

In my mind, the job was done so I paid in full.

A few days passed and the dryer was still not drying properly so I thought there must be something wrong with the dryer since it was very old.

Alex called to follow up and when I told him that it was still not working, he promptly returned to re-evaluate the problem. Turns out that there was a large amount of accumulated water that was still blocking the flow of air. Apparently, the bird nest was causing water to accumulate in a dip in the ductwork.

There was no additional charge for the second visit. Alex simply wanted to make sure that the problem was solved.

Benz-Vac came to check our dryer vent for lint build-up and/or blockage. The visit was everything one could possibly wish for in service, professionalism, care, and responsiveness, from the shoe covers donned at the door through the careful inspection, mending of the lint pipe, and professional courtesy throughout. Richard/BenzVac is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!! I called on short notice and he put me on their schedule following day. Richard came over promptly at 9am to clean my heat pump units (5 total), bathroom vent, and dryer exhaust in less than 2hrs. The machine and tools being used is commercial quality. Glad that these units are dust free now!
