Scott and his crew from save a tree in Westchester are a wonderful team. I recommend their them to anyone who is in need of tree service. They are excellent and reliable. They always show up on promptly, leave the area neat and clean and, have exceeded my expectations every time. I am extremely happy with their service and highly recommend them.

We are using Savatree to treat our lawn and trees and are very satisfied with the level of care they have provided. Our arborvitae trees have grown with great color along with our lawn and we believe the treatment from Savatree has been really beneficial to it. Ross came out to our property and gave us detailed information on how to best care for our lawn and trees and did not push anything unnecessary on us. His insight and professionalism made us feel very satisfied with using the business. We would definitely recommend them if you are trying to protect your lawn and garden and the investment you have made into them.

For some reason I cannot leave a second review for the same company so, I am "adding" an updated review to the one I originally wrote previously:

I highly recommend SavATree (Mamaroneck, NY) as the one and only tree service company! We have used them for several years as our River Birch trees happily and consistently grow out of control each summer. Scot Boyce and his team, Alex, Walter and Emilio are true experts and always cut back the birches in the most pristine and natural way. Additionally, Scot and the guys are extremely pleasant, responsive, meticulously neat and always professional. I only wish I had more trees in my yard for them to maintain! :)

Scot Boyce and the tree team who have been servicing our trees the last few years are nothing short of spectacular. No matter how out of control our River Birches become, the guys cut them back in the most natural way! Scot is always responsive and communicates clearly, without rushing, to be sure everyone is on the same page with the work to be done. First time using SavATree and it certainly wont be my last. Scot was a true professional - showed up when promised, performed a comprehensive review of our property, made a series of recommendations and ultimately worked with us to scope a project that made sense to us. No hard selling tactics or the like. The crews showed up when scheduled, worked efficiently and left the property in better condition than they found it. Overall, a great customer experience. You get what you pay for - dont waste your time working with less experienced and less professional people.

On 5/31/24 Victor Cueva did a treatment for our crabapple bush. He was courteous, and had patience when answering our questions. We found him to be a very knowledgeable and dedicated worker. We thought he did an excellent job. We liked him so much that we are requesting that whenever you do services to our property, you send Victor. We are very satisfied with SavaTree's plan to solve the problems we have with our property. We will continue to discuss with you the progress these treatments are making.

SavATree saved two of our flowering trees in the front yard (A Cherry Tree and a Flowering Crapapple) this month.

Juliet came to our house promptly, diagnosed the problem, called me the same day (I was out during her visit), and arranged to have the trees treated within a few days. She gave me a very detailed explanation describing what was ailing our two beautiful trees, and the description was provided in terms a layperson like myself could actually understand.

SavATree has set up a 3-part annual treatment plan to keep the trees healthy, and their fees are reasonable.

it's worth noting that I had previously left a voicemail three times with one of SavATree's competitors in our area, and never received a return phone call. SavATree has earned our business!

Professionalism, care, conscientiousness, reliability, honesty. This is what we received from Scot Boyce and his crew when they came to take down two trees, trim other trees and shrubs. Everything went so smoothly that we never felt the stress that normally we would have to have a project like this done. We were impressed with Scot’s quick response to our calls, texts and emails (usually within 1/2 hour or less). His knowledge of trees and vegetation was impressive. Alex’s skills in navigating the bucket amazed us as he maneuvered tree limbs overhanging our neighbor’s property to be safely and securely moved through the air to land on our property to be cut up and shredded. Can’t improve on perfection. Thank you.

I use SavATree for care and maintenance on all my trees and shrubs. Their team consisting of Robert and Hector, do a great job in keeping my lawn, trees and shrubs staying healthy and looking their best. They are very knowledgeable on tree and shrub care and preservation and highly recommend them for all of your tree/shrub needs.

The age of our beech tree, according to the SAVATREE Certified Arborist, Mr. Robert Moscarello, is approximately 200 years during his initial visit. However, after my wife and I researched Beech Leaf Disease we found that the likelihood of any treatment for Leaf Disease is not expected to yield favorable results because there is NO CURE which we were not made aware of by Mr. Moscarello prior to agreeing to services rendered. Had we been made aware that there is not a cure, we certainly would not have spent approximately $5,880.00.

The recommended option of using and paying (twice) for the Systemic Soil Treatments, ArborHealth Fertilization treatments, bark disease treatments, borer treatments and then paying $3,890.00 for the pruning of the Beech Tree, unbeknownst to us, was not specific to the actual leaf disease that is killing our tree which is the reason we called SAVATREE to start with.

After speaking with a beech tree expert in Massachusetts, my wife and I were informed that SAVATREE’s ArborHealth Fertilization Treatment, Systemic Soil Treatment, etc., are not used to target the nematodes that is the root cause of Beech Leaf Disease.

We are displeased with the fact that the information was not presented to us during the initial evaluation by SAVATREE after spending approximately $5,880.00.

When my wife and I brought the information collected from the expert in Massachusetts to the attention of the SAVATREE's Certified Arborist, Mr. Robert Moscarello, he knew about there being NO CURE and the fact that all of his recommended treatments were not specifically designed to assist with the leaf disease?!

With that being said, we terminated all services with SAVATREE and we regret allowing ourselves to be taken advantage of and we will be filing a complaint with the BBB.

If you want top notch advisors who are experts in tree car, don't look any further than Savatree. Juliet Badillo was our arborist who was extremely knowledgeable and responsive. She gave us a complete and thorough assessment of a very large tree which was on our neighbor's property but near our property line. We were concerned about large branches hanging over to our side and our home. Savatree expertly trimmed the tree, advised on the longer-term health of the tree and helped us navigate discussions with our neighbor. I can't say enough about how pleased we were. I am a repeat customer over the past 20 years and the service has always been above and beyond.
