Tree reviews in Oceanside, New York

Ramalho has done a great job shaping and trimming our cypresses for the past three years. Our yard looks great! They are efficient and very neat. I highly recommend them.

Uneven trimming of Hedges in backyard. inadequate cleanup of trimmings.
Ruts left in front lawn from machinery used to pull bushes from front garden.
Very dissatisfied with service.

Cannot say enough about how tremendously satisfied we are with Ramalho. They truly treat customers as customers, from first call to office, arriving on time for estimate, very fairly priced and the crew are obviously very experienced, careful, courteous and friendly. John and crew trimmed our very large oak in rear yard, not at all disturbing anything and doing a terrific cleanup - in spite of the pouring rain! John, Rachel and the crew are the best!

Amazing service. Came within 1 days for a quote (even in the rain), came on time, sent estimate with images of work to be done, and schedule the job for 2 days due to our fence being installed in our yard. Clean up was immaculate! Not a branch left behind. Would definitely recommend to friends/family/neighbors and will be using for future jobs for sure!

Got an estimate and they were there 2 days later to complete the job. Multiple trees removed and everything hauled away quickly and efficiently. Really wasn’t even a twig left behind. Yard and lawn was left just as good as before. The workers were friendly and very respectful of neighbors yards and property as well. If you’re looking for a reliable, quick, clean and affordable tree removal company, I highly recommend Ramahlo Tree Removal Service.

Great work for tree removal and trimming at the best price among the quotes we received. Will definitely contact Ramalho again if we need anything else in the future.

Ramalho tree service did an excellent job here at Greater Atlantic Beach Water Reclamation. The office and service crews are very professional and made ours an easy job. They exceeded the contracted work, taking out stumps left from previous tree work without additional charge. All appointments were kept on time, and we are all very happy with the job Ramalho Tree did for us. They will be our first call for future tree work.

Fantastic job! John and his crew at Ramalho did a great job on taking down several trees on my property. It was quick, clean, and there was never an issue. 100% Recommend and will recommend to my friends and family.

Excellent service. Rachael, who manages all the scheduling, estimates, etc., is wonderful to work with and incredibly responsive. Everything runs on schedule and according to plan. The crew works quickly and does a great job. At the end, they inspect the work with you to ensure you are fully satisfied. Prices are reasonable and we have used them for two projects now (front yard and backyard). I would highly recommend for any tree service needs. Thanks Ramalho!

If you're looking for a terrific tree service company look no further.. I am on the board of the condominium association where I live on Long Island.. You know when you get those flyers in your mail , most of the time they are for something you don't really care about.. We were thinking about having the trees on our property which were overgrown as well as those that are encroaching on our property from neighbors and the adjacent NYS property that borders ours cut back and trimmed .. After consulting with the other board members we decided to get an estimate.. John Ramalho met with me and explained what he thought we needed done .We agreed, contracted with Ramalho for what was a very reasonable price . The job they did "reshaping " our property was outstanding and the cleanup impeccable.. it looks as though we gained 2 acres of land !!!!! Ramalho has been a family owned Long Island staple business for 60. years.. Without hesitation I would recommend them to anyone needing tree service !!!

I hired Ramalho Tree Service to come by my home today to trim a large and small tree on my property. They came on time, trimmed the trees in a way so they still looked beautiful, cleaned up like they weren’t here and gave me a very reasonable price. Everything about their service gave me a sense of professionalism and trustworthiness. I highly recommend Ramalho Tree Service.

Ramalho Tree Service do an outstanding job! They went above and beyond removing large hanging branches around my property, while preserving existing trees and keeping my landscape looking beautiful. They are a wonderful family business and have a great respect for the nature they work with. I would recommend them to any of my clients who are looking for Tree Services.

I needed some trees on my property pruned. From the first phone call with Rachael in the office & then dealing with John, our entire experience was wonderful. Honest & caring, John & his crew did an efficient & beautiful job. What I admired most was his honesty. We would highly recommend Ramalho Tree service. You won’t be disappointed.

They came in and did exactly what they said they would. Removed two huge trees (along with the stump) in a very tight spot. Quick, professional, safe and courteous. Would highly recommend.

Ramalho Tree Service was excellent. They were only company I called who actually showed up immediately, gave a good estimate and did all the work within 3 days. Great company, very clean, very professional! Definitely recommend.

They are quick to respond, show up on time and communicate with you to get exactly what you’re looking for. I was very pleased with their work and they even agreed to come back to remove an extra branch for me at a later date. I would not hesitate to recommend Ramalho to anyone looking for tree trimming/removal services.

Excellent tree company. I received three estimates from three reputable tree services to cut down one single tree. Ramalho had the best price, while also presenting themselves as the most professional. They were very responsive to all my questions, prior to the tree removal. They secured my permit, they did a great job, and cleaned up when they finished. Highly recommended!!! Thank you Ramalho!!

John and his crew were a pleasure. You can tell these guys are professionals; they worked great as a team. I have power lines running through my yard and his guys took down major branches without hitting the wires or causing any interruption. He also made sure to not let the branches fall on my patio, barbecue, or house which I was nervous about. It was impressive to watch They took down a lot of dead wood but still made sure the trees look full.
John and his office manager were very responsive getting back to me with a quote, scheduling a day, and keeping me in the loop. I highly recommend.

We're very happy with Ramalho's work. We hired them to remove a dying tree and do some tree trimming. The communication from the company was excellent (including set up of the estimate, tree removal permit, proof of insurance, communication day-of). Their pricing was in the middle of two other estimates we got, but we went with them because they could show proof of insurance and licensing. The crew was professional and did a good job of clean up.

The whole process was absolutely amazing. I called for an estimate on Monday, they came that day, and completed the work on Wednesday. The trees were removed and grind down all within an hour. The costumer service was fantastic, professional, and attentive. I would highly recommend Ramalho tree service.

Had them do a bunch of pruning around my property. They were super friendly, did a great job and cleaned up perfect. Would highly recommend.
