Constraction reviews in Ossining, New York

Very pleased with Fernando and team with the projects done in my home and ongoing support. Highly recommend and definitely will be calling again for any future projects!

Fernando and his team created my dream office that was beyond my expectations. Fernando is kind, listens to you, supports your vision and delivers exactly what he says he will do and more. He is honest, his prices reasonable, and he truly cares for his work and making you happy.

When we first started I felt overwhelmed by the sheer amount of work that needed to be done to renovate a 30 year old dentist office with 7 rooms to a modern beautiful spa like Acupuncture office. Everything needed to be gutted and replaced. We had to demo everything to its bones, tear up carpets and tiles, remove large pieces of walls in each room and then rebuild walls, doors, replace flooring, lights and everything to modernize and give it that spa like feeling.

I was stressed....Until I talked with Fernando and we discussed the project and plans going forward. There are some people that instantly make you feel calm, relaxed and like everything is going to be okay. Fernando is one of those people. He is a true gift.

The calm I felt was continually delivered over the time of the renovation as his team quickly went to work and my office moved along exactly along the time table he projected. I never saw people work so hard, fast, and efficiently. I trusted Fernando and his team 100%. I always felt heard and listened to, even as we assess and changed quite a few things through the process. I truly can't recommend Fernando enough, he made what I imagined a hellish process, easy, simple and relatively stress free.

Fernando and his crew did an excellent job renovating our bathroom. His crew were skilled, professional and very accommodating. They took care in our home, covering floors, etc. with drop cloths and vacuuming each night before leaving. Fernando checked the progress of our job frequently and always responded promptly to our questions or concerns. Their work was top notch. We highly recommend them!

Fernando was absolutely instrumental for each and every stage of our renovation/construction project and we couldn't have done it without him. His knowledge and expertise combined with his calm confidence building professionalism made our project seem to breeze by when we were convinced it was going to be so challenging. If we felt something would be simply be impossible to do within our design visions, he showed nothing but positivity and backed it up with AMAZING work. His team were swift and efficient each and every day while in our project space!

We couldn't be happier with the final product by Vista. Fernando is the absolute best in the business and we will definitely be recommending him and his team to all of our friends with renovation and construction projects!

Fernando and his crew are top notch and extremely professional. Our bathroom renovation was a bit strenuous for us but Fernando coordinated and executed the work in a organized manner and Orlando's 20+ years of experience showed in the craftsmanship. We still have a lot of work left and Fernando and Vista will be the ones to get the job done. Without a doubt, one of the best contractors out there.

Fernando and the team are the best of the best. Not only the workmanship and quality are great, but they are also honest, professional and knowledgeable people. We had a problem with our sewer lateral during a routine inspection that is required by the town when the house is being sold. Fernando helped to diagnose the issue and bring in a plumber (Ricky) and others to craft a careful plan that would minimize the potential for redoing major parts of the front lawn area. His team worked through the weekend to help meet deadlines. They collaborated with the town inspector to make sure the job was done well before proceeding to retest the sewer lateral with the camera and closing up the site. It was a complex job and the team did it meticulously and thoughtfully. Fernando kept me calm and eased my worries during the project. I trust this group fully. We received a pass on the city discharge certification for sewer lateral as a result of vista’s great work. And the final result was as if nothing happened in the front yard area. Could not praise the crew any higher. Thank you so much for your care and attention to details and to your clients.

I highly recommend Vista! We did a full kitchen renovation and are thrilled with the results. Fernando was so responsive and helpful every step of the way, and he and his whole crew were great to work with. The quality and value were both great, and the whole project, from demo to the finishing touches, was completed ahead of expectations. We would definitely work with them again.

We had a great experience with Vista! We did a huge remodel in 2023-- a kitchen gut reno, knocked down the wall to the dining room, knocked down the screened-in porch and rebuilt as an all-seasons room which is now open to the kitchen. We are so happy with the results, it has completely changed the feel of our entire house. Fernando is lovely to work with-- always picks up the phone or calls you back within minutes. VERY hard to find that in a contractor! He's also come back for minor fixes towards the tail end of the job, making sure everything is perfect. His sub contractors are great, particularly the builders, the plumber and the cabinet guys. We will definitely be using Vista for future renovations and would highly recommend!!

UPDATE: Repeat customer here! Had Fernando remodel our kitchen and we couldn’t be happier with the end result—it took about 4 to 5 weeks to complete, given it was a full gut and we wanted custom wood cabinetry. Highly recommend working with Vista Construction!

OG Review: Fernando was a consummate professional and a pleasure to work with—we hired him to do a new primary bathroom (converting from a powder bath), and he and his team worked diligently to meet our timeline. We are incredibly pleased with the ultimate results, and given our positive experience, we actually ended up hiring him to do a couple more jobs we had on our plate (addressing outdoor drainage issues and fixing our driveway). Highly recommend him for your next project—reasonably priced and quality work product!

We recently had the pleasure of hiring Vista Contracting to tackle a number of large projects in our house including a bathroom remodel, the finishing of our basement as well as the installation of a French Drain and Sumo Pump. The professionalism, communication, and efficiency that Fernando’s team displayed was beyond our expectations. They arrived each and everyday either on time or early and we’re always willing and eager to answer questions, make changes on the fly or supply much needed advice.

Our projects were completed ahead of schedule and we could not be happier with the finished projects. I highly recommend Fernando and his team at Vista and hope to use them again in the near future!

We are so happy with our bathroom remodel done by Vista Construction. Fernando was very professional and great to work with. The company offers competitive pricing without sacrificing attention to detail. We love our updated bathroom.

We had a great experience working with Fernando and his team to renovate and waterproof our basement. They installed a new dry well in our backyard, French drains, a new sump pump, and additional work to ensure our beautiful renovation is protected for years to come. Throughout the process, Fernando was honest, friendly, and responsive. He worked closely with us to make sure we got what we wanted and chased down all the necessary permits from our town - all with a smile! His team works really hard. They were always very respectful of our home and cleaned up after each day. Highly recommend. Thank you, Vista Construction!

Powder room remodel was just completed on time and on budget! The owner, Fernando, is a wonderful person to work with, he is always responsive, and helpful. His crew did a fabulous job, and left the site immaculate. Everything looks just as i hoped. Looking forward to working with Fernando and his crew on future projects!

We recently had the pleasure of working with Vista Construction, owned by Fernando, to remodel our first-floor bedroom, living room, and bathroom. From start to finish, the experience was exceptional. Fernando and his team were incredibly easy to work with, always attentive to our needs and preferences. The quality of their workmanship is outstanding, and they truly transformed our space into something beautiful and functional. The project was completed on time and within budget, and any questions or concerns we had were promptly addressed. We highly recommend Vista Construction for any remodeling needs.

I hired Fernando and his team for a master bedroom and bathroom remodel. It was a complex project with structural changes to our home and significant changes to the layout. Vista worked with us every step of the way, delivering high quality work and craftsmanship in a quick timeframe at a fair price. I would not hesitate to recommend Vista to friends and family and will use for future projects. True professionals start to finish.

We hired Vista to put in a new large walk-in tub to replace an existing standard size tub . This was a difficult job requiring demo, plumbing, electrical, and tiling. Fernando responded promptly with a quote and his team worked quickly and skillfully to produce a great end product! I was so happy with the result that I hired them to also replace some old cedar siding on an exterior wall. I would definitely hire Fernando for any future construction or remodeling projects.

Fernando is like a magician that makes everything work out perfectly. He is smart, reliable, funny and like a family friend. His workman and workmanship are top of the line and everything went like clockwork. Extremely well planned and organized. And the workmen clean up beautifully at the end of every day. It will be the best renovation decision you will ever make.

Working closely with Fernando and his team at Vista Construction and Remodeling was a pleasant experience. Plumber, electrician, and the entire crew was professional, dedicated, and easy to communicate with. I would recommend this team of great collaboration to my close and family members. Thank you Fernando for being a good listener and accomplishing all including details.

We worked with Fernando to renovate two bathrooms and decided on renovating a third mid-project when we saw what a difference it made. Best thing I can say is we would call Fernando first for a next project. His advice was on-point, his crew does a quality job and he takes care of details. I also really appreciated his flexibility during the project.

Fernando at Vista Construction handled our project professionally, responsively, and always looked out for our best interest in terms of quality and workmanship. His team’s flexibility made the experience a pleasure. We agreed to a Cost + profit project, it allowed for the cost to be more transparent for each segment of the project. Our project consisted of a 2nd story renovation in Valhalla. The space was completely gutted and turned into new bedrooms, bathrooms, and custom closets. The space is spectacular, very pleased with the overall outcome!

Fernando was a great general contractor: he was very helpful, always had a team of competent people to expertly do any necessary work, found creative solutions, was patient with nutty me, and extremely responsive to all texts. One person on his team, Orlando, masterfully installed the doors and tile, brilliantly aligning the patterns on the marble on both the walls and in the linear drain. Another team member, Rick, skillfully handled all plumbing issues, was very responsive, and installed all appliances and vanity beautifully (not sloppily, like some plumbers do). The man who repaired our wood floors, DF Flooring, did a gorgeous and conscientious job installing new pieces of wood to replace old boards. I would highly recommend Vista
