Constraction reviews in Ossining, New York

Vista not only met but exceeded my expectations. The owner, Fernando, is not only exceptionally nice, but very hardworking and honest; he always worked with me and my wife fairly to get what we wanted and didn't beat around the bush. Our project was definitely not an easy one, we were renovating our existing laundry room into a new updated laundry and full bath. The space was not in great shape and unforeseen work, so there were setbacks, but Vista made it work and still completed the job in respectable amount of time and money. The proof is in the pictures. I would gladly use Vista Construction and work with Fernando again in the future!

Fernando and his crew did an amazing job fixing our garage floor. There was a huge split and we weren’t really sure what was the safest option. We chose Fernando because he brought an engineer out to look at the foundation and property and it really put our minds at ease that the work would be top notch! His crew was professional and quick and we will definitely be using his services in the future.

Fernando is an excellent general contractor. He is very helpful, professional, and took the time to truly listen to us, to explain things to us, and walk us through step by step of our home renovation process. He was very clear with his communication and responsive to all text messages and phone calls. His team is also fantastic. They are all professional, hardworking, and work in a very clean and organized manner. I would highly reccomend Vista Construction and Remodeling.

Full Bathroom and window replacement

Great experience working with Fernando and Vista. We renovated a full bathroom down to the studs. Fernando was responsive to all communication, stuck with the contract we agreed to, and the team was respectful and on time every day. No surprises or hassles. We will absolutely hire Vista again for our future projects.

We just renovated our bathroom, which was our first major home project. Fernando was so easy to work with from beginning to end! He was responsive and helpful, and worked with our schedule. As soon as I told him we were ready, he was able to begin the project the following week and completed the work in 4 days. His workers came promptly every day and were respectful and friendly, and Fernando came by several times to check on the work and make sure we were happy. The cost was exactly the amount we were originally quoted. The whole experience working with Vista Construction was a relief for us, since we have not had much work done in our home and were a bit nervous about all the potential issues that could arise. We will definitely give our business to Fernando and his team for future projects!

My wife and I were ready to update our very outdated bathrooms this year. We kind of knew what we wanted, but didn’t have a real plan solidified, and most importantly, we didn’t know which contractor to use. After a few consultations with other highly-rated contractors, we were left confused and underwhelmed with how to proceed as they all wanted to be told exactly what to do.

My wife discovered Fernando of Vista Construction and Remodeling, through a designer we hired to help us, and we instantly knew he was going to be our guy. Fernando is super nice and very knowledgeable about this work. He was available immediately to come see our bathrooms and he had great ideas and options on what we could do. We pretty much planned the entire job right on the spot with him! He also made it super easy through his contacts to get everything done…he has the tile place, the plumbing supply place, the plumber, the electricians, the cabinet maker, the stone maker, the laborers…everything you need, he has the answer. Fernando continuously kept in contact throughout the entire project and kept it moving to get everything completed. Our bathrooms look INCREDIBLE now and we couldn’t be happier.

I have other projects on my list that I will be contracting Fernando to do for us, and I would 100% recommend him for anyone looking for a bathroom remodel like we did.

Rob was very helpful and offered us great advice on how to tackle several projects from the bathroom to the kitchen

We have worked with Rob for over 5 years, and we’ve had only good experiences. He and his team have done kitchen, expansion, and bathroom work for us. He is responsive and articulate and explains why things are needed; how to best get work done; and the best options for various projects. We blew out our kitchen in 2023, and Rob coordinated multiple teams to do the foundational, ground, building, and roof work, and then finished up the interior of the kitchen remodel. When something unexpected happened during construction, he and his team made sure it was seen to immediately and effectively.

He has also coordinated tile and shower remodeling work, all to the highest quality we would expect. He has deep connections in the local community which allows him to source the best people, materials, and options for the particular job.

Due to inevitable delays with building permits, our kitchen was not able to be completed before the birth of our second child as we had hoped; but Rob and his team ensured it was completed as quickly and quietly as they could under the circumstances, with great flexibility for our needs.

Great guy, great team, great work. We continue to work with him on other projects as they come up.

After spending quite a bit of time evaluating contractors in Westchester, I decided to go with Rob from Mazzacone Contracting. You hear a lot of horror stories from people who deal with horrible contractors so I made sure to do my due diligence for the remodeling work I needed in one of my bathrooms.

We met at his office in Ossining for the initial consultation. I found out he had done the remodel work on the office himself and was really impressed with the quality.

Rob later came by my condo to review my setup and give an estimate. He also offered helpful advice that made it easier to figure out what would work best with my space. His pricing was right in line with the other two estimates I received.

What made me choose Rob in the end was how attentive and knowledgeable he was. He checked all the boxes (licensed, insured) and made me feel confident the project would be in good hands.

The bathroom remodel turned out even better than I imagined. Every detail was spot on, the timeline was met, and the job site was left clean. The work caused very little disruption to my family throughout the process. No complaints from the wife!

It's not easy finding a reliable contractor in Westchester, but now it's safe to say I found one. Rob and his team at Mazzacone Contracting are my go-to.

We recently completed a full bathroom and kitchen renovation and, with no urgency, I took the time to obtain five quotes from local Westchester general contractors. Rob from Mazzacone Contracting stood out immediately—not only was he the most cost-effective, but he was also by far the most responsive. Every time I called, Rob answered.

Rob is honest, straightforward, and has exceptional attention to detail. The entire project was completed on time and with the utmost quality. There were no headaches, no issues, and the process was smooth from start to finish. Our family now has an amazing new kitchen and bathroom to enjoy, and we couldn’t be happier with the results. I highly recommend Rob and Mazzacone Contracting.

The crew is incredibly hard working, experienced and polite.

Did a great job on my house in Yonkers, would highly recommend 10/10

Fare and honesty

Luis and Demetri did a great job communicating and understanding our vision for the roofing and siding project. The crew was professional, friendly, and easy to work with. Overall, a smooth process with great results. Highly recommend!

I can’t say enough about Luis and his crew, they are absolute professionals. I have used CPHI for about 10 years for everything from roofing, siding, copper work, drainage and windows to name a few. Reliable, affordable, top shelf workmanship and A+ communication. 100% recommend.

I've been working with Luis for a decade now. He's rebuilt our roof, cleaned/refinished our cedar shingles, and recently rebuilt our screened in porch using Azek. He always goes the extra mile in providing quality work, never cutting corners. He’s finished our projects on budget and on the agreed upon timeline.

Christopher Professional Home Improvement replaced our roof and rebuilt our shower. They did a beautiful and quality job. They were respectful of our schedule and careful to clean up all debris. We would highly recommend this company.

Luis and his crew are a very respectful and responsible business. The variety of things they do from roofing and gutters to windows and doors has always impressed me. I get to visit a lot of homes in my field over at Windowrama. The work I have been witness to by this young business man over the past 6 or 7 years that I have known him is Steller. This is a business review of a colleague. I am not a customer. But I am calling it like I see it.

Luis and his crew ae true professionals. Luis has done various projects for me including complex shingle roof installation and house painting. His pricing and quality workmanship is exceptional. If you love your home, trust it to Luis to do right by you. No reservations, next project I'm calling Christopher Contracting to do the work and not wasting my time with other estimates.

Luis & team are amazing people, they pay attention to every single detail and help us transform our home into the dream home we always wished for! 10/10
