After my heat breaking mid-winter on a 15° day, and not finding any company able to help for 48 hours (and HUNDREDS of dollars in charges for a weekend visit) Thermodynamix jumped in and sent someone over within 30 mins - on a Sunday. Chris was super knowledgeable and even taught me about the older furnace I had, and why it wasn’t working. I was so pleased with the service, I immediately recommended my uncle to call them for help when his furnace broke not even 24 hrs after. We are both SO happy to have heat - and a fast responding, knowledgeable company to support our whole family. I’ve already recommended them to my parents and other friends.

Spring 2025 A/C Checkup. Chris came to check our 2 A/C systems Thermodynamix previously installed. Chris was very courteous and arrived timely for the appointment. He examined our 2 A/C systems very thoroughly; made sure our filters and coils were clean and ready for the summer season. Well done, a satisfied customer!

Thoroughly professional from scheduling to maintenance. Jimmy arrived and immediately did a thorough inspection of our HVAC system. A pleasure to watch a seasoned pro do his job. Took photos of the system and gave excellent advice on how to use it most effectively and efficiently.

We had a split unit (Central Air Conditioning) installed in our home this month (May 2025). The installers completed the work within three days. The installers were very neat, courteous, and respectful of our property and home. When Thermodynamix's work crew were preparing the attic for the duct work and air handler installation, they cleared the workspace of items stored for over twenty years, and at our request helped us remove these heavy items. We can't say enough positive things about their crew, especially Leo and Angel.

Our AC broke down on July 3rd. Tried calling several companies, including the installer, and could not get service until Monday, 7/7. Found Thernodynamix, a company located fairly close to us. Was able to get an appointment for that Thursday afternoon. Chris is an amazing technician, diagnosed and repaired the problem, and explained what he had done. This is now our go-to AC maintenance and repair company! Couldn't be happier with the outcome.

Literally the only HVAC company that was able to get out to my house and immediately replace my broken down unit on a 95 degree day. The crew was able to create a temp fix on day one to get my AC running temporarily while the new system was ordered and installed the following day. A1 service from the office staff that coordinates with you all the way to the field staff whoe were super professinoal and friendly. Highly recommend!

They were on time, courteous and extremely professional. Everything was thoroughly explained upfront and no surprises. I cannot recommend Thermodynamix more highly! Our heat completely stopped working, so we decided to call them after reading their wonderful reviews and we are so glad we did. Our technician Chris was amazing! He diagnosed the problem very quickly, and was able to get parts and repair our furnace same-day. He also replaced our outdated thermostats and helped me set up the app to control them from my phone/Alexa. He’s such a nice guy, and I appreciated his expertise. We made another call after-hours with a question a few days later, and received a call back right away from another gentleman who was equally as kind and helpful. We’re so impressed with the stellar service all around. Thermodynamix will definitely be our HVAC company from here on out!

Everything with my recent service appointment was great. It was easy to schedule, and the technician (Jimmy) was prompt and did a very thorough job. Thus far all my experiences with Thermodynamix, from regular maintenance calls to repairs, have been excellent. Highly recommend them.

I recently bought a townhouse in Dobbs Ferry which has a three zone HVAC system that was under a maintenance contract with a large company. Unfortunately the three zones were functioning as one because all three dampers were shot. I'm surprised the previous owners and the other company didn't notice this, plus there were some other quirks with the system that needed to be addressed. Rich came over very quickly after I contacted him to assess the situation and diagnose the problems. He found two of the three dampers in the basement, but the third damper was in the unfinished attic and required a return visit (this time with Jimmy) with a taller ladder. It was so hot and awful up there, but Jimmy cheerfully found the damper, took the measurements and the parts were ordered. A few days later I had an appointment with Chris to replace all the dampers and adjust some of the other issues, he was so professional, kind and respectful about moving through the house and not tracking dirt. I now have a fabulous three zone HVAC system!

Thank you Rich, James and Chris for a job well done, and I even had fun with the experience. And thank you to Danielle at the office for coordinating everything. I will be using Thermodynamix for my maintenance contract going forward, I like having the personal service of a family business that has my back.
