The motherboard for my Mitsubishi mini-splits failed after many years. Thermodynamix quickly scheduled an appointment, found the issue immediately, ordered the part and installed it rapidly. Wonderful service, fair price. David, their technician, is top notch. Based on my experience, I heartedly recommend them.

We had a great experience with Kevin from Thermodynamix. He had to do some real problem solving but was able to fix my heat pump. I really was impressed when he said that he always tries to look at each job as if he were the customer himself so that he can provide the best result possible.

I renovated my home and replaced a 35 year old gas boiler with Mitsubishi mini-splits . I got several bids and chose Thermodynamix-similar pricing to others and they handled the paperwork for the rebates. I chose them because they (very) patiently answered all my questions and I felt very confident in their judgment and their answers. I never felt pressured, though I did from a few other companies. My decision to work with them paid off-they made excellent recommendations, built a great system, did a wonderful job and 5 months later they are still concerned about my comfort level and my happiness with the units and their service-they have worked tirelessly with the city and the seemingly never ending round of permit questions and follow up. I highly recommend them - Through the renovations I have of course run into some contractor difficulties - but I know I can always count on Thermodynamix and that is a huge relief given the importance of the heating and air systems.

Thermodynamix has replaced several components of my HVAC and hot water system and provided annual maintenance. They are knowledgeable and professional and their prices are fair and reasonable. Scheduling appointments is easy and I never have to wait long for service. Additionally, their technicians are exceptionally neat and clean, which I appreciate.

My AC stoped working, and from the moment I called this company, the customer service was great! Danielle answered the phone and quickly set up an appointment so I can have a technician be at my house the same day! Kevin arrived and was very polite, helpful and extremely knowledgeable. He immediatly fixed the issue and had my AC up and running fairly quickly. I highly recommend this company!

Jimmy from Thermodynamix serviced my unit as a scheduled maintenance call and did a thorough inspection of my A/C yesterday. This is a few weeks after a service call when Chris from Thermodynamix had come to restore my broken A/C on a record hot day.
Over the past three years I have had leaks in this new unit. Other contractors had come before Thermodynamix and only temporarily fixed what had become a very uncomfortable , expensive and recurrent problem. In my previous review I explained how Chris quickly ascertained and fixed the leak. And now Jimmy confirmed that fix by measuring that there has been no leak of refrigerant since that last service a few weeks before. I would like to add that the level of professionalism pervades every point of contact I have had with Thermodynamix including ease of making and keeping appointments with Danielle. Jimmy and Chris are both very experienced, quick, knowledgeable and courteous . They both explained everything in both detail and broad terms. I have and will continue to recommend them to family and friends. Huge difference from treatment from other contractors

Everything was professional from the start of the install to finish. There were some issues that came up after the install and they handled it perfectly. I will definitely recommend Thermodynamix to anyone else needing AC work done.

I am extremely happy with the work Thermodynamix did. In two days, they removed my 40 year-old furnace and AC unit. The father and son technicians, Alberto and Alberto Junior, are professional, courteous, and respectful. The Comfort Advisor, Tony, explained in depth and kept you informed. Thermodynamix LLC has been servicing my HVAC system for years. They show up on time for your appointment, all very friendly and polite . Recently I had my air ducts cleaned by this company and I can’t say enough good things about the team that showed up. They did a fabulous job.

Called to ask a simple question - first lady apparently lied to me, transferred me to some jerk who couldn't even take 5 seconds to listen to my question and then hung up on me. They say they handle radiant heating, but then the last guy I spoke to said they didn't. Maybe they don't even know what they do over there, but very rude customer service. Definitely would not do business with or recommend doing business with.

It's hard to imagine modern life without heating or cooling, and you can trust Thermodynamix to keep your HVAC in top shape. The process of evaluating and installing heat pumps is complicated, and I got bids from 5 different companies before choosing Thermodynamix. They were cost-efficient, communicated patiently and clearly at every visit, and went out of their way to obtain state rebates for a system that other companies said could not be obtained.

They came out a few times after installation to check on the system, and I am glad to pay them for annual service to have the peace of mind that everything is working like it's supposed to.

had a pair of furnace, a/c coil, outdoor unit changed. overall i hope its a good work done but i wouldnt know that as a consumer.

just like any other companies, big guys come in the beginning, and their junior staffs come and do all. when junior staffs were finished, no one came to check their work but was told by them that tubes that comes off the furnaces need to be insulated and left plus with heated air leaking thru galvanized pipes. That was this past Friday.

then the sales rep called the same day, asked for remaining balance to be paid before they finish up insulating with bubbles and tapes where air was leaking through sheet metal pipes that comes off the furnaces. His reasoning was that the installation staffs do not carry those in the truck which sounded weird.

Sales person came today, tuesday. the first thing he says before he finishes aforementioned stuff to be done, that we needed to pay. We insisted that this needs to be done beforehand. Then, he started finishing up the work, ran out of tape couldnt finish, and asked us to pay again stating it is their policy.

He was told why cant you come back with more tapes and finish before i pay, if you were coming back today. He said might not be able to come back today.

I told him i cant pay the balance.

He came back after 30minutes and finshed the job and he got paid. I am not sure if I gave him the impression that i cannot afford 37k job but It was an interesting experience overall.

This review is for pricing only. They're prices are out of the stratosphere. I got a price of close to 40k for central AC in a 1700sq ft house. This is for the lower end Mitsubishi, not the hyper heat ones. I have a house upstate that is 1000sq ft larger and I got it done for 26k and that was with the hyper heat Mitsubishi units. Ultimately I got a bunch of realistic quotes of 15-20k from several other companies. Do yourself a favor and get installation prices elsewhere

Extremely knowledgeable diagnosticians. They were able to figure out my issue with a burner over the phone and help me get it up and running. Highly recommend giving them a call for your heating and cooling needs.

Jimmy came out to service all of my outdoor condensers and the indoor unit. He was right on time, very professional, and took the time to explain everything he was doing in a way that made sense. Super informative, thorough, and you can tell he really knows his stuff. Great experience overall and I’ll definitely use them again.
