Reviews of local pros in Peekskill, New York

Doug and his crew are amazing and super knowledgeable! I’ve had other tree work done from other companies who scare me as they’re removing the tree. Cringing in my house hoping they don’t hit something. But not with Second Nature; they’re professional, work as a team, have the right equipment to safely remove your trees. Very fascinating watching these guys work in their element! They chipped all of the branches and stacked all of the logs that I wanted to keep in neat piles. Also cleaned up afterwards beyond my expectations. My wife and I are very pleased with the 7 trees cut down in our back yard, along with the 3 enormous trees that were very close to our home and detached garage. I highly recommend this company!

Very professional! I've been buying wood from here for a long time and needed some trees taken down. They did an excellent job and cleaned up the yard.

I'm happy with the work Second Nature Tree LLC did on my property. Pruned and shaped two trees to my satisfaction, also removed a dead tree leaving my property cleaned without any debris left behind. Will use this company again. Very professional and explained every detail. I will recommend to family and friends. Price was great. Thank you, Second Nature.

Second Nature Tree has been a pleasure to deal with on several occasions. They are always courteous and professional and do a great job. A+++

Professional, friendly, prompt, courteous and just super nice and knowledgeable. They so clearly know what they’re doing and charge very reasonably. Will use them every year, I expect. Call them, you won’t regret.

Doug and his team were extremely wonderful to work with from beginning to end . We had a massive (80+foot ) locust tree that we have been nervous about for years . The crew came out to inspect our property and gave us a quote within an hour along with available dates for removal . Not only did they impressively remove the tree there was minimal to no damage (holes in lawn etc) on our property or the neighbors . You would never have know tree removal took place as they cleaned everything up so thoroughly . They even came back the next day to fix any patches in the yard from the removal . If I could give them more than 5 stars I would. We highly recommend this team for all your tree needs .

Second Nature Tree. Unbelievable best tree company I ever dealt with over 40 years of dealing with tree companies. Professional, kind, clean, neat, they listen to everything and did it better than we ever expected. Honestly no words can describe how happy we are. Cannot believe how smooth things went.

Doug, Ryan, and the team were very knowledgeable, provided us with great ideas, and worked hard. They were so kind and we felt confident in their work. The outcome was even better than we had imagined and we highly recommend them!

I have used Second Nature Tree for several jobs and each time Doug responded promptly and handled each job as if the work was being done for his own property. The level of respect and courtesy is impressive. Highly recommend.

Doug was very knowledgeable and took the time to explain the issues with the tree that fell on my deck. Although he was not the least expensive of the estimates I received I chose him because of the time he spent telling me this. The work was done promptly and the cleanup went very well. I would highly recommend him.

I rarely take the time to leave reviews, but this one is worth it. Second Nature Tree has been the most responsive, seamless, and efficient business I’ve dealt with as a homeowner. Kudos to Catherine for her punctuality and communication. They were fair and professional, with no upselling of services. What I asked for is what I got, all at a fair price. If you’re shopping around, save yourself the time and just go with Second Nature.

Skilled professionals, great price and extremely kind to boot. We had them take down a 120 year old pine right next to our house. We couldn't be happier!

Excellent experience with the Second Nature crew. They were very efficient and professional, providing great advice on what was essential work and what could wait. Will use them again!

Second nature did an awesome job at my house in Mahopac. Very reasonably priced, very professional, and did an amazing job. Cleared multiple trees for me in a day, and even cut the wood into 16 inch pieces to use for firewood. Great job !

We are so happy we chose Second Nature Tree for tree trimming and removing dead trees around our home. We chose Second Nature Tree because they have the expertise and equipment to get more work done in less time. Their articulated grappler made easy work of trees that were brought down by past storms. Doug and his crew did an amazing two days of work at a great price.

Doug and his team were great! Personable, professional and knowledgeable. They took great care to remove our tree with no damage to our house or garden. Recommended without hesitation and plan to use them again should the need arise.

I recently had the pleasure of working with Second Nature Tree, and I couldn’t be happier with the results! We had some major tree work done at our home, and their team was nothing short of professional, skilled, and efficient. From the initial consultation to the completion of the project, they took great care in assessing our needs and ensuring everything was done safely and thoroughly.

Not only did they remove a few large trees, but they also cleaned up so well afterward that you would never know they had been here. I truly appreciate their attention to detail and how they went above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied. If you’re looking for top-quality tree service, I highly recommend Second Nature Tree!

I am a repeating customer that buys crates of firewood from Second Nature Tree and I am happy with my service! Their prices are fair and they are very nice people!

Been using this company for plowing for a few years now and I’m happy with the reliable services they provide.

I had an exceptional experience with Second Nature Tree Service. They were truly outstanding—easily the best tree company I’ve ever worked with, and I’ve worked with many others in the past. Their team was incredibly focused and professional. The crew that worked with me was exceptional: passionate, highly skilled, and extremely knowledgeable. Additionally, their prices were very competitive. I couldn’t have asked for a better service.

We found Second Nature about five years ago and have used them for all of our tree care needs ever since. I highly recommend them and will continue to use them in the future. Doug and his crew always do excellent work. They are reliable, professional, and thorough every time.
