Pleasure to do business with - very friendly company.

As a former customer of T Y Electric in my opinion the ethics, business practices and operations of this company are terrible.. if you are considering using T Y Electric stay away and move on to another more reputable electrical contractor.. in my experience i was presented with surprise invoices totaling more then 50% of what had been fully paid on a time and material/ pay as the work is completed basis.. the final surprise invoice had no details, no approval, no documentation presented to me and clearly included excessive hourly billings recorded to the job with no prior approvals... this job was for an electrical upgrade in a well maintained residence... When i started the job with T Y Electric's president Tom Yatteau i trusted his word .. what i found is that not only did he not supervise the workers on site but his word was not to be trusted.. the cost for the work completed was clearly excessive so in my opinion and with experience....unless you have an open wallet and money to throw away, stay away from T Y Electric this is not a company that deserves your business.. there are other more ethical firms.

My townhome needed serious electric service attention in 2018 and again in August, 2022. The owner, Tom Yatteau, was prompt in returning my calls and most professional with the analysis and estimation of the service I needed I would not trust my home to anyone else and strongly recommend Ty Electric!
