We called 5 businesses about our broken air conditioner.....John was the only one to respond promptly......he gave us the estimate, but of course, we still did get other estimates....he gave us the lowest price and we just felt the best about him. we highly recommend carroll heating and cooling! our furnace was 47 yrs. old. we had 3 estimates, he was lowest price but that's not why we chose him. john(the owner ) came over for the estimate and he seemed the most knowledgeable and we liked the fact that he actually does the installation himself. he did a great job and we are very pleased. we will recomenend him. his assistant cody was exceptional.

John was excellent from beginning to end. John was quick to stop by and offer an estimate and was able to fit our project in (complete installation of furnace and AC) in less than 2 weeks. The project was done in less than 2 days, and the workspace was left cleaner than he found it. I cannot recommend John enough for any residential HVAC project you might have.

I was selling my house and the buyer had some concerns that requires me to bring in a HVAC expert. I had use John previously and gave him a call. He responded immediately and was at my house in a few hours. He did a very through inspection, cleaning and adjustment that gave the buyer involved the confidence to purchase my home. When our air conditioner wasn't working on one of the hottest summer days, we called John. Within hours he was at our house assessing the situation. We had a slow freon leak that was fixed very quickly. He was kind, courteous and friendly. I have recommended Carroll Heating and Cooling to many friends and neighbors. If I ever have another cooling or heating issue, John will be the first person I call.

John has installed 3 furnaces and 1 central air unit for me. I have referred 2 of my uncles for new furnace installations, they were very happy.

I personally have become friends with John and very fond of him as a person and professionalism. I had a problem last winter with my furnace and my homes temapture was dropping fast with the extreme cold we were having. With just 1 text John was right over to fix the problem.

John installed our boiler with a peerless indirect hot water heater in October 2017. He was neat, professional and timely. Needles to say it’s gotten us through two winters without a hiccup. I’m very satisfied with the quality of the work and overall performance of the new system. We also gained efficiency in the process!! My furnace stopped working and there didn’t seem to be anything mechanically wrong with it, so I gave John a call after some recommendations. He came over same day and took at look at it - took him less than 20 minutes to trace out a wire short off the PCB. He got me up and running in no time flat. I’ll definitely give him a call in the future for further maintenance needs.

Exceptional service! I am very thankful to John. Our heat stopped working and he responded to my call right away. This is not the first time he has serviced/repaired our HVAC system. We reached out to John on Friday when we realized our AC was no longer working. He said the earliest he could get there was Monday. Of course, this was going to be one of the hottest weekends too. Sunday morning, he shows up to our house, unannounced, and assesses our AC issue. An hour or so later, our AC is repaired and back up running. This is customer service unlike any other. John did a great job installing a new furnace for me and he also ran all new duct work in the basement. He got the work done quick and everything looks very tidy and professional. Very reasonably priced. He'll be my first call for future HVAC needs!

John Carroll did a fantastic job replacing our old furnace and AC unit. John made a visit to confirm and inform us what he could do to replace the furnace with a 96% efficient unit and include the Rheem AC unit also. He gave a fair estimate that we immediatly agreed to. Very professional, clean and honest. The Bigger name companies gave me very elevated quotes, but I chose to go with an independant small business owner and I could not be happier knowing a local guy provided a great price and service.

John is incredibly knowledgeable and fair. He’s been willing to help with many different items at my home and is and will always be the first phone call when I have HVAC issues at home.

I emailed John Carroll at 11:30am with a furnace issue and he was at my house within the hour troubleshooting. Quickly found out we had a bad sensor, headed right out to pick up the part, and by 2pm everything was back to running smoothly again. Very professional and Super reasonable pricing for the service call and maintenance. He's my go-to for any future HVAC needs, Highly recommended!
