Awesome Service! Joe M. and Phil cleaned my ducts yesterday. Not only were they really thorough and helpful, but they were also very kind and I felt very comfortable having them in my home and around my children as the process took most of the day. We just bought the house and there were a few minor hiccups with getting everything up and running, they just fixed the problems as they arose, (like repairing a bad section duct), and kept moving on. I also had to replace my thermostat, and they recommended an awesome one and then installed that as well, which typically isn't part of the duct cleaning. And when all was said and done, it was the flat rate that was agreed upon before they began. They were very knowledgeable about HVAC and we will definitely come back to them next year when we have our air conditioning installed.

I saw that there was a Friday special for the a tune-up on your finances on the website. So I called and schedule an appointment at 9am Saturday, they have 2 run on the weekend for tune-ups. Nick the HAVC service technician showed up at 9am on time and ready to work. He was very knowledgeable and had no problem letting me watch and explaining what he was doing. He cleaned and test a lot things on the furnace like the airflow all wire connections motors to make sure the unit was running correctly. Nick did a great job, I would have them come again thank you High Performance Heating and Cooling.

Update: Pictures below show a new project, pool Heater. I ask If this company could hook up the gas pipe to my house and Heater. Joe M. was the service person. I was told they would check the lines and measure the gas pressure. The heater was working but has some harmonics (noise) in the manual it say check the gas pressure. I called the them back to see if they could check the gas. I paid $2000 for this service and happy to pay, but was told that they need to charge me from service visit a week from when they installed the pipe.

My rating is going down because they are not calling me back or wanting to be asked to check the gas pressure.

Update: I received a text from the office and they have scheduled appointment in a week with me.

Update: thank you Joe and the office making a visit today. The sound has been corrected and my pool heater is working just fine. I have updated my rating back to a 5 star.

The Technicians were on time, Friendly and knowledgeable about theor jobs. Their price for the water heater including labor was better than other heating companies. I have use High Performance Heating and cooling in the past for other work and would highly recommend them.

This company has always been helpful and done an excellent job. Phil has been amazing and is so so good at his job and just being an awesome person. He managed to install antique vents and grates all over my house and did a fabulous job. Even before Phil was my knight in shining armour (it is very hard to find a stand up craftsman), the company did a great job installing my furnace and AC. 100% will be going to them again and again for anything I can think of.

I have to say the guys were nice that put in our hot water tank. They were even early. The issue is it was installed on a Monday around 11 am and not done right. Wednesday 2 days later my son said I think I smell gas and I was like I just think it is the new tank smell. I took him to school and something told me to stop back home . I opened the front door and the whole house smelled like gas . I had to get all 3 of my dogs loaded in the car and I called RGE. They came right out. The guys who installed my hot water tank never righted the natural gas pipes. RGE fixed the issue . I called High Performance and the First Lady I talked to was very nice. She transferred me to another lady and she pretty much scolded me for not calling them first . My house was full of gas and if I did not stop back at home my fur babies could have died or worse my house could have caught fire or exploded Howe RGE. They did not even offer and apologies and did not offer and kind is refund. Even if it was labor . I just want everyone to be aware as I can’t be the first customer complaining about this.

Edited this review because they did call later, and resolve the issue. They were very professional, apologized for the issues, and handled the situation appropriately.

Although everyone at High Performance is very nice I can not recommend this company. I spent nearly 20k with them 2 years ago installing central air, and a new furnace. We went with them originally because they had a better warranty than other companies. The warranty is a bit of a sham, and everything they work on is marked up several hundred percent. We recently paid $120 to have them come out and not be able to fix our furnace. After some research I fixed it myself for $30. I called them to see how much it would be to have them repair what I had found to be the issue, and they said it would be $300 even though it was still under warranty. Like I said before everyone there is very nice, but unless you’ve got money to burn their customer service when issues arise is terrible.

Increase in banging/clicking noises coming from my baseboard radiators started this year. Had someone come out and look at my 4 year boiler and was told it could just be pipes banging on studs (after 10 years in my house not sure this would be an all of a sudden problem), could be air in the lines (which I confirmed I had already tried bleeding and there was no air in the 3 lines that I bled), it might be the pump and then ended with being told my pressure gauge is stuck and needs to be replaced before any further diagnostics can occur.
I'll admit that during Covid I was not diligent in having annual service and have never had my pipes flushed but just felt like I was being talked into repairs that probably wouldn't solve my problem. Also didn't appreciate the water drops on my engineered hard wood floors from bleeding the line (confirmed no air in that line, which I had already told the tech) and the disassembled radiator cover that I had to put back together. Next time I'll call another company.

We called for a service appointment on January 23rd as one zone (we have 3) in our home was not receiving heat. A technician was able to come and check out the boiler that afternoon. The technician and my husband reviewed the concern, and he tested each zone for the boiler. He advised that he would get estimates to us in order to likely replace the boiler as soon as possible and left.

That evening we noticed that the upstairs at our home was very hot (almost 80 degree's) which was not the case prior to the technician's visit. The 3rd zone was operating appropriately.

We called the office Friday afternoon and spoke to an employee who didn't see any evidence of an estimate at that time. She said she would contact the technician and someone would get back to us.

Subsequently and because we still had not heard anything from High Performance Heating and Air by late Monday, 1/27, we had another company come out to look at the boiler. In minimal time, the technician fixed the valve to the upstairs zone which had been left open from the previous appointment. He also fixed a small gas leak. He stated the boiler was functioning fine and did not advise any further treatment or replacement.

We received an email from High Performance Heating and Air Conditioning on 1/29 with an estimate attached. The estimate was to do an antifreeze treatment for the boiler system for over $800. Further, we never received a phone call with follow-up from the technician's visit and the reason for this estimate.

We were disappointed at the lack of professionalism in response to our shared concerns. A phone call to say we're still working on the estimate or an offer to check in to see how things were going would have been nice. Then, when we received the estimate for the antifreeze treatment without any follow-up on the possible boiler replacement was the proverbial, "Nail in the coffin" for us.

Bottom line - customer service is extremely important in order to retain customers.
