The Parrots For Peace were very happy, and so was I, that our service technician to restore our heat when it stopped, was therr immediately, was efficient, and enjoyed talking to the parrots!

We’ve used them for about a year and will not be renewing. We requested service, they came out and then we had a leak when they left (that’s not why we needed service). Called for service again, they “fixed” the leak but it immediately began leaking again. They wouldn’t send the tech back immediately even though he just left. We now have a basement full of water. On top of all that, every time you call, their end of the line cuts out or hangs up. I always have to call multiple times to get anything taken care of.

We loved your fast, reliable service and it’s sad you no longer are a vendor with CRT. New company doesn’t compare to your service

Happy to see our regular technician back . Shane has always been Mom's favorite over the years. We've been happy to see him arrive. He's just a great, person, as Mom said . That would equal AWESOME in her book.

Had an excellent experience today having my basement oil tank replaced. The installers were prompt, efficient, very pleasant and tidy despite having to cut up the old tank into multiple pieces, in order to remove it. Everything was covered from the front door to their whole workspace. Do not be afraid of a mess with this team installing your new tank!

This is a terrible company. They don't answer your calls until many hours later you always get put on hold their contracting processes is weird it's just not a good company. They really don't care about their customer they're very commercial and you're just a number so if you like that use these people

Customer service is good aside from the hold time. You can’t get a prompt tune-up, it usually takes about 2 weeks to get one done.

Our appointment was at 5pm (on purpose i came 30' min earlier) they came very early when nobody was at home, they opened the unlocked door and they came in. They left the receipt and on a piece of paper they wrote what they replaced. The day before they come i sifted powder of sugar on the boiler on purpose!!!! When i came back home the powder sugar was stil there!!!!! How did they replace the parts without touching my boiler???? Of course they lie! The powder sugar is still there. I want my money back. I payed for service i have never had!

STAY AWAY!!!!!
Prices are high and they sent a tech to do annual cleaning on my 1 year old furnace in December 2025, left my 81 year old husband with no heat and instead of returning (it was a late Friday afternoon) tech gave my husband instructions over the phone to get it back running. When you call you're on hold forever with no answer, nor do they call you back if you leave a number. Sad my previous oil company sold out to this place, we were customers for over 40 years. -
The technician serviced, my Boiler system in a timely matter. The technician went beyone his duty to test-fix my boiler, tested all radiators hot. He took the time to explain to my husband, who is 82yrs old sick with late onset Alzheimer disease. The technician was a caring person and understand Seniors Citizen People.

The technician, John Paul, is a credit to your company, both technically and interpersonally. Please let him know he was reviewed and he is truly appreciated.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I have been a customer of yours for over 50 years. I like how quickly a person comes out when there is a problem. All of your technicians are very professional and know exactly how to fix a problem with expediency.

Lost an entire hour on the phone attempting to set up a new account. After explaining to no fewer than 3 employees as to the service we needed, it became apparent that they were not capable of assisting us.
Thanks for the waste if time that I could have been focusing elsewhere... -
I needed an appointment for my annual furnace tuneup. I got on the schedule through the help of customer service rep Veronica who is always competent, courteous, and professional. The service tech texted when he was on his way to my house and completed his work in a timely manner. Another job well done.

I have bought oil from Dollarwise, which I believe is part of HOP, for the last few years since HOP bought out the local heating oil company I purchased from for years prior. I needed only a couple hundred gallons to literally tide me over until my heat pump is installed - I was down to about 20 gallons and it's cold out now. I placed the order over the phone and then about an hour later, they called me back to say the order was cancelled. Why? Because they put a freeze on delivering to my address the previous year, which was news to me. Why the freeze? Because my "oil tank was broken and needed to be fixed". Which is an utter fiction. Nothing is broken, the furnace has been running since it started getting cold, the oil tank itself is fine. I couldn't get anywhere, so I asked to speak with a manager. Okay, they'll have a manager call me. Can I call them? No, there is no number available. This was yesterday. I needed oil right away. The manager still hasn't called me. I ended up ordering oil from a completely different (and local) company. I really miss the folks HOP bought out. Now when I call, I speak with someone in Pennsylvania and I'm in Massachusetts. In the past, I had had issues with the folks they sent out to inspect my furnace or change a filter. My furnace is 50 years old. I'd been told that they wouldn't touch it because it if broke, they have no parts on hand to fix it. So, I ended up finding someone else to come and service it.
Whatever you do, order oil from a local company. Don't bother with HOP. Or Dollarwise. Whatever savings you might get in their heating oil prices won't be worth the aggravation. Their customer service, while polite, is really disorganized, and apparently they can just decide not to deliver oil for no reason at all.
EDIT: The manager finally called me four days later. Apparently, the technician and their manager determined back in October 2024 that it was against their policy to deliver oil to my address. I got no notice of this - you'd think they'd let their customers know in writing at the time of the delivery freeze so they could find a different oil company! I got no information about what this policy was or how whatever the tech decided made delivering to me against their policy. I asked if the policy was new, and they said no. -
I've been a customer for the last few years, my father was a customer, I had no complaints until I was promised I was all set and locked in on a good price for my budget then, I get a letter stating otherwise. I'm confused. I'm disappointed. I hope we can work it out. I'd like to stay

Janice, the HOP representative I called this morning, was super helpful in resolving my issues and answering my questions. She set me up for another fuel contract which is due and I was dreading to plan out. But she made the process simple and was as kind and smart as I could ever want! Thank you, Janice! I am most grateful for your help!

These people are crooks. They are delivering oil without our consent at prices FAR out of range of current prices and without communication. Customer service is non-existent. We have been calling for days only to be transferred to a customer service line that leads to nowhere. AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS.

I recently had a furnace cleaning scheduled. I have been told the visit would happen between 12 and four, but the technician was there early in the morning while I was out. The person I spoke to on the phone was very accommodating and ended up reaching out to see if another technician could come and service the furnace in the afternoon. They were able to accomplish that. The technician, Wayne, was excellent. My furnace is 46 years old and I knew that it was on its last legs. Wayne was having someone contact me that this evening to give me a quote on a new furnace so that I could make an informed decision. I’m very pleased with the way I was treated and the service I received.

HOPenergy has shown me excellent customer service as I set up a new account. Specifically, Cory Mosley, who has taken extra care to explain the options, listen, and followed up countless times to ensure we got it all the details figured out. Thank you!
