Great Lakes Tree Service deserves a "10". They came to our property on July 30th to remove several trees that unfortunately feel on our house on July 28th. The workers were amazing. Efficient, courteous, and the hardest workers I have ever seen. They were extra careful not to do further damage to our house. I would highly recommend Great Lakes Tree Service to anyone seeking tree removal.
I called this tree business to have a tree removed from my dads property out in Panama. I called on Tuesday and now it's Thursday. Never heard back from them. I even sent a email through their website to request a call back. Got nothing there either. Unfortunately I went with someone else. If you're going to run a company, at least learn to communicate better.
The owner is so great and communicates so well! Great pricing! They even came back to cut up wood into smaller pieces for us to chop for firewood after I asked if they did that. They normally don’t and came back same day to do it for us! We’ve had a lot of contractors just disappear since we’ve bought our house and I wish they did more than trees cuz I’d use them again and again!
I was kind enough to give them access through my yard to cut down a neighbors tree. I was told they would fix and damages or ruts in the yard. After a week I called and spoke w Justin. He assured me he would be back to take care of it. Never came back and left my yard a mess. Some of the ruts were so bad I couldn’t mow lawn without having to fix them first. The crew also failed to mention that they would be swinging the tree and its limbs over my pool so I wasn’t able to cover it. It ended up having a lot of saw dust and black walnuts in it - had to be drained. The guy that came to pick up the logs was rude as well. Had the audacity to give me a hard time because I have a basketball hoop in my driveway. Told me he couldn’t move it because he had a bad shoulder. I’m a 5’2” 42 yr old women and he had me move it myself. THIS WAS NOT EVEN MY TREE THAT WAS TAKEN DOWN. Maybe consider changing name of company to Great Lies.
