Constraction reviews in Spring Valley, New York

I can't say enough great things about Gold Standard Roofing! After an unexpected roofing emergency, I was stressed and needed help fast. Rodrigo and the team stepped up in a big way. Not only did they respond quickly and get the work done, but they also handled the permit process seamlessly — something I hadn't even considered in the chaos of an emergency situation.

Rodrigo was professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely cared about doing the job right. He walked me through every step, made sure all the permits were properly obtained, and didn't cut a single corner. The finished roof looks fantastic and I have complete peace of mind knowing everything was done to code.

If you're looking for a roofing company that goes above and beyond — especially when it matters most — Gold Standard is exactly that. Ask for Rodrigo. You won't be disappointed!

I love my new roof! It's a huge improvement for my 100-year-old house. The team was excellent: professional and truly a pleasure to work with.

We were looking for a reliable company to replace our roof and found
GOLD STANDARD CONTRACTOR. I don't usually write reviews, but I was impressed by their punctuality. I highly recommend this company.

I decided to hire Gold Standard because a neighbor who had worked with them gave us excellent recommendations. They were extremely professional and a pleasure to work with. They were exceptionally kind, attentive, and helpful. Their price was fair too! I highly recommend them!

Rodrigo and his crew did a great job on my roof. They were prompt, professional and most of all they cleaned up well. I highly recommend them to anyone.

We hired Gold Standard for the complete replacement of our roof. We are very satisfied with their professionalism and the final result. Rodrigo, in particular, kept us informed throughout the project and ensured that everything was done perfectly. His work was essential.

On a very cold day they did an excellent job installing new roof on our shed. First had to remove the snow off the old roof and then remove the old roof. Excellent work at an excellent price! Much better than several other contractors. I highly recommend that you call them for an estimate.

We just had a beautiful new roof installed by gold standard. We had used them a couple of years ago to repair a leak so we knew they did quality work and it was an easy decision to call them again when new problems came up with our old roof. They are true craftsmen and hard workers. the inspector was easy to deal with and he gave us help in picking out the shingle color witch made our house look terrific. We have already recommended them to a friend. Pick Gold Stadard Contractor for your roofing problems , you won't be sorry.

Rodrigo was very thorough with the inspection. Listened to all of my concerns and answered all my questions. Showed up the day off, worked in 20 degree weather and made sure I was satisfied with the work. They did a great job! I will definitely hire them in the future and recommend to my friends.

I had a fantastic experience with Gold Standard on our recent roofing job. We were very pleased from the initial meeting and estimate to the final cleanup. The team was punctual, efficient, and incredibly professional. The quality of the work was excellent. I highly recommend this company to anyone looking for reliable and skilled roofers.

Rodrigo is a terrific guy. He is very professional and detailed. They have done roofing and interior ceiling work for us so far and I’m very pleased with everything. Their prices are reasonable as well. Thanks guys!!

Such a pleasure to work with them. They were efficient, professional and knowledgeable. Their work ethic is unmatched. I will certainly call them for my next project

I hired Gold Standard Contractor to replace my roof and I'm delighted with the results. The work was done professionally and efficiently, leaving my roof spotless and free of imperfections. They were fantastic; they were there from start to finish, making sure everything went perfectly. I highly recommend them!

Great experience with this company! They recently completed a full roof replacement for us and have also handled a bathroom remodel in the past. Both projects were done with great craftsmanship and professionalism. Pricing for value, quality of work and customer service were excellent. Highly recommend.

My husband and I hired Augustine and his team to remodel a bathroom and build a new one. We also had them build a picket fence for us.

Augustine literally went above and beyond during this period. And it doesn’t hurt that their work is top quality, and if you find any issues with their work, they’ll immediately come assess and redo if necessary. Even though in the contract, we were to provide them with supplies, because of our busy work schedule, we weren’t able to a lot of times. Augustine was very understanding did all the shopping (multiple trips to Home Depot, Lowe’s and other stores!) for us when we weren’t able to get him supplies. We’re still grateful for that.

The bathrooms they built for us are so beautiful. He made sure he asked us if any unexpected changes had to be made.

Augustine and his team also made sure their work areas were kept neat and only had us buy things that they actually needed. We had a bad experience with a previous contractor who was never on site and only came on site for his check. Augustine was here every single day with his workers, so this was never an issue.

If you’re looking for a contractor who won’t rip you off, hire Mr. Gomez and hire him now!! 👍👍

Edit: Augustine and team did our deck and attic recently and the work is top notch. Pictures added for reference.

Very helpful, great service and always available when needed.
