Thanks so much for figuring out my outage issue and fixing it so fast.

Friendly, professional, expedient service. After 2 days of my malfunctioning hard-wired smoke detector waking me up at 3:30am, I came across Molloy Electric on SI who was easily able to send a tech to replace my detector the same day. He said my detector was “done”, tested the device before he left and it worked. Now hoping that replacing it was the fix I needed to prevent the random false alarms in the middle of the night!! I will add Molloy Electric to my contact list for future use.

Despite the short notice, someone came out within 2 hours to look at my issue. Electrician courteous, explained the issue, provided an explanation of the issue, addressed the problem, which was a very simple issue and that’s speaks to their honesty—as a lay person, a simple problem can be turned into something major, costing much more. Happily that was not the case, here.

It was a great experience. Adrian Rolando the electrician who came to install my bathroom exhaust fan was on time and did a great job. He cleaned up after himself. I would recommend Molloy Electric for any electrical work you may need in your house.

Stephen and his assistant Ramon came on time and on budget in providing enhanced junction box allowing my elderly mother the opportunity to add Split AC Units. Very professional, and answered all of my questions.

Steve responded quickly to our power outage.He was very knowledgeable and professional. He quickly got our power working again and suggested upgrades to improve our main panel. Alexis came on a Saturday and replaced our outdated and malfunctioning Load Center. Alexis was very professional and worked 7 hours straight with no break. Steve came back to assist Alexis and the install looks great and much cleaner than the original panel. We really appreciate them working on a Saturday to get all of our power restored and giving us a working heating system . Would highly recommend Molloy Electric !!!

Having to rewiring and adding another meter due to single to two family conversion in Brooklyn. Excellent and professional communication, always on time with appointments. Work is done as per regulations and request. Great pricing and payment options. Very clean, neat and friendly workers. I highly recommend Molloy Electric. Called Molloy for a quote to change out our meter box. Chad got back to me quickly and with a fair price. On the day of service Adrian and Jared came and performed the work beautifully. One of the things about Adrian, that really stood out to me was the fact that he did not seem like one of those very cocky electricians out there. He answered all of my questions and concerns without judgement and I really appreciated that. Everything was completed in 4 hours of time and our power was back on. They also cleaned up after which I also loved. Would definitely use Molloy again in the future.

Molloy Electric was able to come the day after I called them. They communicated with me through email and texts to let me know the time they were coming and when they were on their way. The work was excellent, and the two electricians were knowledgeable and had no difficulties with our 95-year-old house. I highly recommend this electric company.

I used this company 3 weeks ago when an outlet blew unexpectedly. When I called yesterday because the outlet they fixed stopped working in its entirety I made an appointment. Not only did the person not show up but they didn’t call when I requested an update on their service timeline. Honestly if they were unable to honor my appointment, that would have been fine- just have the decency to let me know.

Molloy Electric explained the job ( power off during job, needed to upgrade two items to current NYC Code). Molloy dealt with DOB filings, inspection & approval. Was a long day but WORTH it. This is my first experience with Molloy Electric. They were referred by a friend. They installed an electric car charger for me. The owner of the firm, Steven Molloy came himself to review the scope of work. The itemized quote was priced very fairly. My appointment time was for 8am. They arrived at 8am on the dot. The work was completed with care, on time, and neatly done. The crew who did the work, was polite, helpful and quick I will be using Molloy Electric again! Thanks! Great work, great price.
