The team at DRP is top-notch! I have an older home with elderly wiring and the team at DRP has helped me with small projects when I needed them done. The service was excellent (on time or even early! How often do you get that??), the electricians were knowledgable, kind and empathetic (especially for an anxious human like me when it comes to anything electrical) and the prices very fair. Their office manager is fantastic as well. I feel safe knowing they're on the case.  I cannot recommend them enough.

After an unfortunate backyard renovation went wrong, we lost power to our garage. The team at DRP were very quick to respond and check out the damage. The job was completed in just a few hours and was well done. The team was friendly and efficient. We really appreciate your help. Thank you DRP!

I'm biased, because I've been very lucky for several years to know and do business with DRP. Each and every time I've called them, they've responded as quickly as possible and the condition was rectified with absolute skill and professionalism. To me, anything having to do with electricity is dangerous, therefore it makes absolute sense to call people who know what they're doing! This is not like reviewing a restaurant, you read reviews to discover if a company can be trusted-you're allowing someone into your home, if they know what they're doing and if they're reliable. DRP has been wonderful from beginning to end!! Family business who takes customer service serious. Answered any and all questions I had before starting the work. I had a generator inlet put in and the guys who came to do the work were very polite and knowledgeable. Walked me thru everything they did and explained to me what I’ll have to do should we lose power. I didn’t have all the parts to my generator but when I do I will give them a call and Don (the owner) said they’d come back (AT NO ADDITIONAL CHARGE!) and simulate a power outage to make sure I know how to work it safely. I would call them for any future electrical work that I need done and I’d recommend them to anyone.

DRP Electrical Contractors responded quickly to replace an outlet. They repaired an outlet that was needed to run a crucial c- pap machine. They are professional and courteous and made this potential problem disappear quickly. Cannot say enough! Thank you so much! HIGHLY RECOMMEND! 😃

Another company did some work years ago and they did not file everything with the city.

Tried using another company to resolve the problem of the first company. After almost a month nothing was moving.

This is when DRP came in for the rescue as they got things moving right away. I am very pleased with the way that things worked out. Great company.

Had to use electricians to get work done that the house needed. Was hesitant to call anyone but I’m glad I found this company. Very professional company. Good crew; they did a very clean wiring job when installing new panel and getting my kitchen island with new receptacles all buttoned down with new 20 amp cables. Very cleans and professional work, will use them in the future.

DRP came to assist with electrical issues we had at our home (flickering lights and power surges). First, the service guys were outstanding. Respectful, knowledgeable, and very thorough. The supervisor, one of the owners, came to inspect the job himself, and was also very knowledgeable, and answered all of my questions.

Ultimately, the problem resided with our utility company, but DRP opened the service ticket for us, communicated with our utility provider, and offered to stay involved until the issue is fully resolved. Excellent customer service and very thorough work. I highly recommend.

Donny from DRP Electrical Contracting came to my house this morning. I have been having concerns regarding the electricity in my house. Donny was very professional; He went above and beyond answering all of my questions and concerns that I had. I will be having work done by DRP Electrical Contracting. Two nights ago I had an electrical issue in which half of my house lost electricity, and it was 18 degrees out. I reached out to Don jr at DRP and the next day his team arrived, diagnosed the issues and made the repairs. In all fairness I'm biased when it comes to DRP, I trust no one else with the electrical issues in my house. I'd like to be a gatekeeper about DRP, and keep them a secret because they're that good. But because electricity is serious and dangerous, everyone should know about them, call them and use them. From switching out outlets to more extensive work call DRP. Thanks again team DRP !

Completely incompetent and negligent. Not only were these guys unable to figure out definitivaly my dishwasher issue, but in the process they INTENTIONALLY ripped my dishwasher hose when they were mucking around under the kitchen sink “trying to figure out” where the dishwasher feeds from. You can NOT tear the hose the way they did by accident- it was intentional. What I was not able to show in the picture below is the OTHER side of the hose completely sliced open. Again, can’t do this by accident or ordinary “wear and tear”. Now this is not some minor issue because as a consequence my entire kitchen sink cabinet and expensive products inside were destroyed by water before we discovered what happened. We only figured it out after we saw water already on the floor. So the lawsuit is coming. Now i also have to hire a 3rd party to replace the dishwasher hose and clean up their mess. And if course we cannot use our kitchen sink until after New Years because no one is available to come fix it tonight. So they also ruined New Years Eve, because we were planning to host. Would not hire them to do anything.

Best electricians in the NYC area! I just purchased a co-op in a pre war brownstone on the UWS that needed substantial electrical repairs and updates, per the inspection reports. Don came highly recommended, and in one phone conversation his level of expertise and mastery of the subject was obvious. According the ChatGPT their prices are within range for the area, and they DO NOT cost cut on materials. The office is very efficient and responsive. Christian and Christian who were on site were great- able to problem solve and adjust on the fly in which I can't imagine is easy in an old, complicated building. Highly recommend!!

DRP installed an EV charger in my garage. Everyone was great. Extremely polite, professional, and knowledgeable. From Carlene who answered the phone and scheduled my appointment, to Don who gave the estimate and explained the process, to David and Paul who did the install. I highly recommend DRP!
