They put in a faucet for me a couple days ago… started leaking at supply hose connect to faucet and they want to charge me 175 to fix call back what a joke

I've used this company on many of my buildings commercial and residential and their professional team helped me with all of my project planning and executing a all my projects and emergency repairs they have a large team so no matter how big my project I have always gotten it done within a reasonable time no matter what the challenge my building faces I reach out to their team and they have a solution that is the most important thing for me and my tenants

Very professional, responsive, friendly and on time. They efficiently fixed our plumbing issue with friendly service.

They were on time. Worked very cleanly so as not to mess up your home. Worked efficiently and cleaned up nicely afterward. And very friendly which made an unpleasant necessity much easier to deal with.

Horrible company. They came for exactly 10 minutes to repair a minor issue and charged me $175 for a full hour of service. Were incredibly unhelpful over the phone and deceitful in their pricing. Would highly discourage anyone from using them.

There is nothing that i hate more than having plumbing problems. I consulted with my local parish and asked who do they use when they have plumbing problems, and they told me to call you guys.

Louie was the person that came to help us,. We discuss all the options to solve my problem, and I simply asked him to do what he would do in his own house if he faced the same problem. He understood my anxiety and worry, and did great work.

My problem is solved. He took the time to explain the repair, the way I needed to work with in order to avoid the problem to happen in the future.

I would recommend this company to my family and friends.

Did pretty much everything wrong: quoted the wrong (and a lower) hourly rate over the phone than they charge, came unprepared to do basic work (borrowing materials from me); incompetently or dishonestly offered services they could not deliver; cancelled a follow-up appointment without calling (just didn't show up), etc. You name it, they did it wrong. The only thing they seemed to care about was getting paid. They never tried to take responsibility for their errors and omissions.

To be short, they did a good job but they tricked me with price. They will tell you price per hour, and even all other companies estimated job to be dont in 3h, they did it in 6h and have left even without my signature or that anyone have checked how long they stayed. Then they just send you bill, if you dont want to pay they threten that will put lien on your apartment, and say that they have proof that their technician have stayed there that long by GPS cordinates.
They could stay few hours in local bub and have a beer and keep on charging me hourly, i dont know but am sure that they where not there on spot doing that job. To be worse I had offers for up to $1200k for same job, but i went with this comapny as it was recommended by my management company. I tought that they all charge kind a same, what a mistake. Will never do it agaib, first ask for estimate and get your price before they come , dont make same mistake as me and allow this kind of fraud comapnies to use you. I paid 1/3 of price more, around 1800$.Will try to see if i can post those receipts that you can see i am legit customer. Shame on you Genuine Plumbing, i hope you go out of work.

Lou from Genuine Plumbing & Heating was a joy to work with! He was so professional and efficient while also going the extra mile to ensure all of our radiators were working properly. The best experience I have ever had with a serviceman hands down and I could not be more grateful.

Zero stars. Replaced flushometer cost more than 2k. Took 2 weeks when they said a part would be in in 3 days. Had to use my buildings toilet that is in the basement. Zero communication. Zero record of what we are paying them for (no daily hourly record, no price breakdown, nothing). Over $2,200 for something that should have been a couple hundred- max. I have never written a review and I am sad to say that this is my first. My only hope is that someone will see this review and will choose to NOT reach out to them for business. You should be ashamed of yourselves, this is an embarrassment and a crime.

Terrible service. I had a leak from my boiler, the technicians spent 20mn removing parts, telling me all was fine. An hour later, the leak is the same. I called another plumber the day after who fixed it right away. Genuine refused to admit the incompetence of their plumber and didn't even offer to fix it. And I had to fight to get them to correct the invoice to reflect that poor job. The only way they get paid is not on the quality of job they provide (if at least it was good) but on forcing you to give your CC information before scheduling a job asking you to pay per hour. There's a lot of good plumbers in NY so I'd recommend to check the 5 stars one.

The plumbers from Genuine did an excellent job. They were incredibly professional the entire time. Plumbers can very easily get a bad wrap, but these two walked me through everything they were doing and what was going on during the time. As they were working the job took on added complexity because of the ancient pipes at the apartment. To make up for the lost time, they even stayed during lunch. Very helpful and friendly. Would recommend again.
