A huge thank you to Mick the Chimney Medic for coming out and repairing our chimney flue damaged in last weeks wind storm. He and his crew followed all appropriate Corona related protocols.

Called him as out chimney is clogged and obviously being im not in this line of work I don't know anything about it, so I was relaying the issue told to me by my plumber , I asked him if he can reach out to our plumber just to make sure I'm giving him the correct info, and he turned super rude and told me he can't give me the time I need , made it seem as if he was doing me a favor and hung up.

YES I was very stressed about it as we have 3 children and our heat and hot water don't work.

Came to the house, did assessment and scheduled work. Communicative until the week before; colleague could no longer reach. I called direct morning of the job, clearly flustered whoever I spoke to, said they would call me back. Never did,calls subsequently got message number no longer available. Emails bounced back. Very disappointing. May have been due to needing COI/W9 ?

These guys were great! I had noticed water leaking in through my chimney so i gave them a call. They came right away, were very straight forward and honest, and did a great job. I haven't had a problem since. Highly recommend.

I just had a pleasant visit with Mickey and Dave from Chimney Medic.
I had my chimney adequately cleaned by a company called FTI. . They cleaned the chimney fine and then gave me an estimate of $2500. to do all kinds of work on and in my chimney that they diagnosed needed to be done .
I was suspicious and called in The Chimney Medic. He looked at the estimate, they looked up the chimney and smiled and said most of what was proposed to me was completely unnecessary.
I wanted to pay them for the house visit but they just smiled again and said they did their good deed for the day.
THAT I HAD NEVER EXPERIENCED- owning a house for more than 25 years.
CALL IN THE CHIMNEY MEDIC. Get that 2nd opinion.

Contacted the Chimney Medic for a leak in my chimney. Came on time and was very nice. They told me it looked like I would need some tar, caulking and fill the crown on top. Preform the work that same day and side it should be all set and if I had a problem to call him back. The next time it rained the leak was in the same spot. I called them back and they said they would come back to look at it again. The next day they came back and said they put more caulk should be fine. The next time it rained there was the same leak in the same place running down the cinder blocks in the inside of my house. Called a third time and they agreed to come and address any other issues.
