CNS is great! We had several heating and cooling issues throughout a renovation and after, and they were always very responsive, on time, and courteous. The owner and all of the staff always made sure to explain everything to us and are always able to help and answer questions anytime they come up. Last week in 97 degree heat, our Air Conditioning broke down! We have a newborn baby so it was clearly an emergency. I called CNS, they arrived within a couple of hours and repaired our condenser. We have an older system that needs to be upgraded, but CNS repaired it and got us AC until we are able to get that done. They came quickly, the office staff was beyond helpful & friendly during my hysteria and they repaired our AC at a fair price. Very Grateful to CNS!

I leave reviews in those rare cases when I am extremely satisfied with the services provided. Yes, I'm a picky and demanding customer, for I expect the best for my money, ergo, CNS comes highly recommended.

My Grandparents required the new cooling system installed in their home. Summer in full blast and we decided on a Ductless Air Conditioning with Heat.

Charlie and the crew know their job, they were on time, units were installed neatly and are working now for several weeks (almost 24/7) perfectly, plus Charlie was kind enough to show my Grandparents how to use it properly too. Great experience working with CNS. We had our boiler replaced and Spacepak HVAC installed throughout the house. Charlie came to the house a couple of times to answer my questions and go through the whole process. The team got the job completed on time and were able to work independently while I was traveling. The installation actually went better than expected as they managed to avoid boxing any of the duct work which we originally throught would be needed. Jamie was great to work, responsive and patient in answering my various questions. CNS were also very competitive relative to other quotes I received. Overall, very positive experience and highly recommended.

I called in a few companies for estimates on replacing my heating system. I chose CNS because Charlie was by far the most knowledgeable guy I had in here. The installation went well, on time, neatly done and at a good price. I now have a Navien boiler that hangs on my basement wall, takes up very little space and provides hot water on demand. All that and they got me a rebate from Con Ed. I am very happy with my new heating system and most impressed with CNS. Thanks guys, great job!

Extremely easy to work with CNS--I was able to text them pictures of my water tank and they were able to give me a fair estimate without me having to wait around for them to 'see the job first' --the techs were efficient and professional --I highly recommend them. They only use high quality brands.

My central air started acting up and was not fully functioning. I called a few HVAC companies to get estimates and CNS was one of the them. I saw they had great google reviews so I added them to my list. Charlie came out that week and went thru my options with me. He was very through and detailed, no bells and whistles like the others I met. I Choose to use CNS to install a new furnace and central air and within a week I had it installed. Charlie send 4 technicians to my house ( my unit is in the attic) and they were the best. They covered my floors, and treated my home with respect. They came early and was done by 5pm. Great group of guys. Charlie was onsite as well and installed two new smart thermostats and tested my unit. He came back the next morning to do some minor tweaks and we couldn't be happier. It's a huge relief to have a reliable HVAC company that you can trust. Thank you!!!

CNS Heating & Cooling are the BEST – I can’t sing the praises enough! My AC died two weeks into summer, and I received an extensive/expensive quote from my usual maintenance company. A friend in Westchester County recommended that I call CNS, who has been his company for years and I’m so glad he did. Jamie (in the office) is professional, knowledgeable, and compassionate – although it was peak season and they were obviously busy, she scheduled an appointment quickly. Charlie was thorough and experienced - he clearly knows what he is talking about. He reviewed the system, gave estimates for the remaining life of different components, and then provided an extremely reasonable quote for the work that was needed right away. Extent/expense were less than my original quote, needless to say – no trying to gouge me for work that didn’t need to be done. The job was completed quickly and efficiently, without inconvenience or mess.

Having relocated around the country ten times in the past thirty years, I value home contractors whom I can trust to give me professional advice and a fair price. I am so grateful to CNS Heating & Cooling, because they provide both. They are an honest, reliable, trustworthy family business with heart!

We had a great experience with CNS. We recently moved into an older home without central air conditioning. I did a lot of research as our house has radiators and I suspected this would not be an easy job. I got several estimates ranging in price and design, some of them I'd have to sell a kidney to finance they were so ridiculous. From the minute Charlie walked in it was clear he was the most knowledgeable. CNS installed a SpacePak mini duct system that looks great but most importantly works great and at a very reasonable price. All work done very professionally and they came back a couple of times, after payment in full, to tweak the system until it was perfect. Also very happy with the CNS's payment schedule, a payment due at various stages of the installation which I thought was very fair & forthright. Good company, good people. Couldn't be happier with our new central air system!

I could not respond to CNS respond to my previous review which was full of lye so I have to add another review:
Yes CNS Heating and cooling installed my systems in 2021. and since then it break down at least 4-5 time and currently TWO of them not functioning; I did not change any renovation plans several times (Lying) and had the contractor never touch or move & alter the systems (Lying again). CNS Heating did not do their best to work with us to resolve the issues that created by them completely; yes they come 3-4 time did something and again and again system malfunction happened and finally decide to not service malfunction system that they installed for us. There was no difficulty collecting payment from us, only thing I ask was to finish the job to get your last payment and CNS heating was not agreed to finish the job and I paid few Hundred dollars left over with worry that same thing that happen now would happen then and I need to hire some one to fix the problem that CNS heating created for Us. Upon my last phone call, you disrespectfully requested you work with another company.

If I can put No star or Minus will put on for them.

I will never recommend CNS heating and cooling even to my enemy.

I am converting from oil to gas and had two companies to give us their estimates. The price of CNS' offer was lower, and the equipment efficiency was higher than in the proposal of the other company. But this is not about the price only. The quality of care and attention you get with CNS is the highest I ever met. The customer is treated as a part of the family, really! The installation was done in a very timely manner and efficiently. People who work for Charlie and Jamie are high great specialists too. I am very happy with them and would highly recommend them to anyone!

Excellent company..... They installed a new central A/C system for us last week. From the first phone call until completion of the job, everything was as good as it gets. We are extremely pleased. The office staff to get the estimate, set up appointment, answer questions, etc., (mostly Jamie) were extremely fast in responding, patient, very nice and professional. After approving a good price, installation day was scheduled quickly. Our unit is in the attic, mainly through a small hatch in the closet ceiling but it was no problem for them. The whole job took just a few hours and before they left, they cleaned the work area. The unit is working perfectly and we are so happy to have air conditioning again! I would highly recommend CNS Heating & Cooling!

CNS saved our Thanksgiving! We were without heat for a week and a half prior to Thanksgiving and had called several different HVAC companies to come out and assess the situation, all of which said a boiler replacement was necessary. When CNS came out they immediately said that only a new electrical panel was necessary saving us thousands. We are extremely thankful for their insight, knowledge and transparency as first time home buyers and would use them again 100%.

After being without heat for a month, paying for unnecessary services calls and being quoted very high prices to replace my system, someone suggested I try CNS.
Charlie showed up at my home and immediately diagnosed the problem. No nonsense, no scare tactics, just the facts.
Within a few days CNS came in a replaced my entire heating and cooling system to an updated more efficient model. His crew was professional, clean and just so nice. The price he quoted for the job was way better than the other quotes I had received. My house is now warm and toasty!
I would highly recommend this company above all of the companies in Westchester. I have been in my home for over 20 years and have worked with a bunch. CNS blows them all away! They really are THE BEAT!

I just had the crew from CNS out to my house to get me ready for the winter! The woman in the office who booked my appointment was friendly and helpful, and she answered all my questions. The crew arrived on time, worked hard, and cleaned up the job site - nice and professional! I was really impressed with their service technician, Anthony. He was thorough with the boiler tune up, and he took the time to walk me through what was done to reassure me all was well. I believe the price was fair for the work. I'm dreading the cold weather, but I trust the CNS crew to come back in the future if I need more work done.

Charlie and the rest of the CNS team were great to work with from beginning to end. They did a thorough job in evaluating what my needs were when replacing a gas boiler and AC units with a combo boiler/hot water heater and heat pumps to create a dual fuel system. Met with lots of other contractors, but was clear Charlie knew what he was talking about and provided an estimate that was 30% lower than the others. Work was done professionally and on schedule . Couldn't be more pleased--I highly recommend CNS!

Charlie and the whole team at CNS were so great to work with! They were so accommodating on scheduling, and got everything done quickly and efficiently! They even referred us to an electrician to help get everything wired appropriately in the attic. Overall such a pleasure to work with and would definitely recommend them! Very reasonably priced as well for great service! Thank you!

We needed to call CNS Heating & Cooling for two home emergencies - once when our heating system died just before Thanksgiving and once the following summer when our A/C system broke down in the middle of a heat wave. Both times CNS came to the rescue. They were at our house within hours of calling and worked quickly to solve our problems, getting us our heat and A/C back as soon as possible. We will be CNS customers forever going forward. Great personal and reliable service. We highly recommend them.

Unreliable. Untrustworthy. Awful professional integrity.

I am so disappointed in the this company. I've been using CNS for four years for repairs and service. Through that time I've had no complaints. They were responsive and did a good job. I had a leak in my air handler over the weekend which was dripping through the ceiling into my daughter's room. My wife couldn't get a hold of them (I was out of town) and had an external person come in and clean out the pipes to try and fix the issue without resolution. No problem so far.

I called CNS first thing Monday morning and was informed that since I consulted another person the owner is no longer interested in working with me as a client and I should find another service provider. This all through the receptionist without even the decency to call back himself.

I called back and asked the receptionist for the owner to call me directly to discuss. SILENCE.

I am appalled by the lack of professionalism and absolutely absurd position this company would take. I would never again recommend this company to anyone.

1. I'm not sure on what basis you make your statements. A message was left over the weekend. If there was an error, these things happen. Certainly, this should not be a reason to dissolve a relationship if you missed a voicemail.
2. CNS has been servicing my equipment throughout, with the most recent being in 2023.Your statement is false.
3. "Multiple volatile encounters"? This is just bizarre, I am unsure how to even respond to this. And if this perceived on your end in any situation, why did Charlie not take the opportunity to pick up and call?

If you think that a "simple phone interaction" where you fired a longtime client simply because they called someone else in an emergency does not constitute "your work" you should seriously question whether you should be in any service industry. Certainly it does not seem that CNS has any desire to be in business anymore and I would caution anyone who thought about working with you.

I too, would like to wish you well in the future, but as a business... never in my life have I experienced such a bizarre and nonsensical end to a relationship.
