CREATES MORE PROBLEMS TO MAKE MORE MONEY:

CNS Heating & Cooling, Inc was called out in summer to address my AC system not cooling. While at the end of the day, the AC was working, it was not until October when I went to turn my heat on that I realized my heat was not working. I went back to the original invoice from CNS where it explicitly says wiring was removed from the boiler and heat would not be working, stating I would need a follow up call (and charge) for my "fixed" system to work.

Upon trying to call and get the issue resolved, I was borderline reprimanded by the office manager for "not knowing what I was talking about", even after they themselves read the invoice back to me stating "I should have known this because it was on the receipt". For reference I am a general contractor, so while I don't pretend to know more than the HVAC tech, I do know more than the average Joe and understand how to read wiring diagrams that clearly show a jumper needed.

Attached photos where you can see the thermostat wiring (white cable) cut off at 3 of the 5 wires. There is currently no communication between my Thermostat and my boiler.

So if you want your systems fixed without having to pay for their mistakes, don't call CNS.

EDIT***: The purpose of my call was for CNS to fix their mistake. For the hours worth of work to reinstall the jumper that was removed (whether or not it was wired incorrectly in the first place), CNS would rather reply to the reviews trying to discredit me as a disgruntled customer by saying I should be paying for a follow up visit to fix the wire they removed.

Charlie from CNS swooped in and saved the day (and my bank account!) My historic home needed a brand new steam boiler and CNS was very forthright in the quote and work that needed to be done. I appreciated Charlies honesty about what would be best in my situation. All work was done in a timely and respectful manner. A thorough check of all the steam pipes once installation was done ensured everything was running smoothly. The office personal were also very pleasant to communicate with.

On the day my new ac unit was installed the men arrived early and did an outstanding job with the installation with minimal disruption. Most importantly they cleaned up before they left. CNS came by yesterday to service our HVAC system. Very professional, no delays, arrived within the scheduled time frame and also was easy to find an appointment. I recently had a Navien combi-boiler system installed. The technicians were highly professional, courteous, and efficient throughout the process. I strongly recommend their services to anyone looking for quality HVAC work.

Our HVAC system was getting old and outdated. We got a few referrals and bid it out to about 3-5 companies. Charlie at CNS bid and gave us two different system offers. He was the only one who spent hours on the phone with us going over every detail of what we should get and why based on our house configuration. To boot his pricing was far superior to any other offer. We chose CNS and have been very pleased and happy with our choice.

Additionally, recently we called Charlie to consult and diagnose a minor problem with the hot water heater that was installed. Charlie came over within a few days and spent at least an hour diagnosing the potential issue and solution. He spent time speaking to the manufacturer as to how to solve the issue. Within the week he came over again to make some changes to the heater

and after further time spent running tests he suggested how to solve the issue.
