Horrible service!!! What happened to sears? It took approximately six months of back and forth to finally get my refrigerator fixed despite us having a warranty for PEACE OF MIND!!! Our Food replacement voucher was denied because on one of the visit the technician/s ONLY defrosted the fridge and did not order any parts. After purchasing groceries again my refrigerator stopped working (the temperature inside my fridge was warmer than the temp. in my kitchen and I was denied a new refrigerator (Sears techs have to order parts more than 3 times to qualify) unless they absolutely cannot fix it. So in the meantime my family and I were forced to live without a working refrigerator for over 2 1/2 months while we waited on Sears for our repair in the height of the summer heat!!!

What a wonderful technician. He was professional, knowledgeable and was prompt. I would highly recommend this service for maintenance of all your major appliances. The only issue was the 10 day wait for a repair tech to service my refrigerator that was inoperable!

The service was terrible. My freezer in my fridge went out since July. August 2nd someone came and check the refrigerator and ordered parts and said they would be back on the 13th. The parts came but the technician never came. I called Sears repair and ask what was going on. They said that I called in and cancelled the appointment. Which I never did because that morning someone called me and told me that the technician called out sick and that they were unable to make the appointment. The representative insisted that I called in and cancelled the appointment until she decided to actually find out what happened. She came back on the line and said oh the technician called in sick and that she has no one to come out. I explained that it is almost 2 months I have been siting for this issue to be resolved. She said well it's a Friday and she was going to put it in as an emergency and someone would get in contact with me in 48 hours. Guess what! No one ever got in touch with me in that 48 hours. The refrigerator finally got fixed on the 28th September 2016. I would of given this experience a zero star but that wasn't an option.

I called Sears June 3rd to report about my refrigerator that was not cooling, I was given an appointment for June 13th, the technician did not show up on that day, he finally came on the 17th,after lying to me that he called. He checked and said it's the compressor, he will order the part and will come the following week end to fix it. After a long run around it was finally fixed on the 30th. I have been with Sears for over 15 years and never experienced this before. I lost foods because of this. Please check on the third party company before giving them business. I am done with Sears, I'm not doing business with you anymore. All of my appliances are Kenmore but because of this experience I will not buy the protection insurance anymore. The technician was very rude on the phone he told me he owns the business, I reported all this to Sears and I hope they stop doing business with this guy.

Awful experience. They made me go for 3 months without the service. Sears Charged me $668 to repair the compressor. They try to fix it 3 times but wasnt successful. When I asked for refund they do not respond. Every time I called the customer service they escalade the process to billing dept but the billing department never respond.
If your refrigerator is broken, go and buy a new one, do not go to Sears. They rip you off

My refrigerator was repaired after 4 visits and 2 months of wafting to get fixed. After all the years of being covered by Sears protection policy this was the worst ever. The first tech that came reviewed the problem and had to order two parts. We waited 4 days and the part arrived than it took a week to get the Tech back for the repair. The refrig and freezer was working for two days and the freezer it stopped working. Another tech came a week later and reviewed the problem without taking any thing apart and said we needed two parts which he had to order. Waited two weeks for the parts arrive and a week for and other tech to come. Who was the first Tech who was pretty good. He took a look at the problem and said you didn't need one of the parts but did not receive the correct part to replace and fix the part. He ordered the part. several calls from the service department telling us the are searching for the part we should get a call within the week. That week went by an nothing. A couple of weeks went by and finally the found the part. Service department said the tech will be there tomorrow at 9 AM. Same day spoke to another person in customer service and he also said tomorrow at 9AM and if you wish you can call the scheduling department and confirm the time which I did. The tech calls the next morning and says I will be there by twelve this afternoon. I responded that he was to be at my house at 9Am and he says to be sir I have other calls to make before you. I got anode and told him that t I spoke to scheduling department yesterday and he said you will be here by 9AM. He started to argue will be repeating the same thing that he had other customers and I said that we have been waiting 2 months to get out refig and freezer fixed and I can't be the first one on your list. We than hung and he arrived 20 minutes later. He fixed the refri and freezer with the two parts that I received and I assisted him with towels and other small thing to wipe of the water from the freezer. he told us that the freezer and the refrig will be working well within 24 hours. He finished and left my house quickly without leaving a receipt. The refirg and freezer is working fine at this time.

Technician was rude, did not want to have owner observe or ask questions in their own home. Technician was unprofessional, talking on his personal phone and complaining. Tracked dirt from the street into the home and did not place the boxes or inserts in a manner that was not hazardous. Does not cleanup behind himself. Sears went downhill in customer service which I have been dealing with them for over 25 years and an very disappointed. I don't know if it was a male attitude toward women in you are suppose to be seen not heard or he just hates his job but either way unacceptable.

Took a week for replacement part after the initial appointment but the team was courteous and forthright with situation. They came to replace the part on the same day when the replacement part arrived. That was great. They also appear to know what they were doing which made me feel relieved as the worked on mybSamsung front loader.

Sears service has been terrible. I called sears the morning I realized my fridge stopped working. It took them a week to come and just look at it. Then they made the appointment for repair for another week later and just didn't show up. I called at the end of the 4 hour window and they just said no one was coming. No reason as to why they weren't coming even though I called every day that week to confirm. They then told me they wouldn't be able to set up another appointment for two weeks to which I refused and kept calling back until they gave me another appointment. So I was without a fridge for over 2 weeks, with an infant who is on special, expensive formula. I will never buy another product from this company.

My experience with my repairman was terrific. He was professional and efficient.

However, I have received several phone calls from Sears asking for my input on the repair service, which I gave, and now this email...

PLEASE, STOP CONTACTING ME SINCE I HAVE TOLD YOU NUMEROUS TIMES HOW GOOD THE REPAIRMAN WAS... I FEEL LIKE I AM BEING HARASSED!

Excellent! The Technician called ahead and arrived on time. He was professional, friendly and knowledgeable. He identified the problem immediately, got it fixed, provided helpful tips and was on his away in a respectable amount of time. My dryer works perfectly! Thank you.

Had my refrigerator fixed and was happy with the repair service. The problem was diagnosed and the serviceman ordered the parts. There were three parts needed; 2 were major. When the parts arrived I called the service and an appointment was made. I wasn't happy with the one week wait since my fridge was out of commission, but the actual repair was done in quick fashion by a knowledgeable and friendly repairman.

Your coverage is a scam. Your installer told me via text that my washing machine wasn’t covered after I set up appointment and provided my model number and serial number. A giant waste of my time and money for coverage that doesn’t exist

I just cant understand why an order for parts cant be scanned and emailed from NY yo Chicago in ine or two days. I cant understand why a furnace motor cannot be mailed overnight and was sent by ground transportation. In the middle of winter it took us 3 weeks to gey heat back. The Technicians were knowledgeable and punctual. The telephone people were scripted and basically just communicated that there was nothing we could do except to accept our fate. I was offered a discount, but we paid for a warranty so there was no charge. I cant imagine what our gas/electric bill will be, we had to buy another heater because we burned out the one we had. We have purchased anything from SEARS since our first experience with your service department 2 years ago, which was another disaster. You haven't improved.

My experience was fine. The technician was on time, friendly, clean, and professional. He fixed a recurring problem with my refrigerator, and in good time. Unfortunately, I believe I just bought either a bad model or just got a lemon because this is the 3rd time fixing the same problem. I really don't know I'll do when my service agreement runs out.To keep renewing it for a brand new (3 years) appliance feels like paying twice as much as the item costs just to keep it running.

Dealing with Sears has been the most awful experience. It's been three months and even after multiple repairs they haven't been able to fix the problem. You literally sit on the phone with them an hour every time you call and when they can't do anything they just tell you to call back, theres no sense of customer service. If you get a nice representative they'll apologize, or you could get someone who cares less and will just disconnect on you. The last technician who came out told me their protocol is to book appointments 12 days later, so every time a part they install fails, I have to wait an additional twelve days for them to come back to diagnose the appliance and then 2-5 days for parts and another week for them to come back and install them. In three months they've only been here 5 times, basically once every 12-15 days. Do yourself a favor and stay away from buying or having your appliance serviced from them.

The Tech was very good. The only complaint is that Sears is over charging on there labor. They charged me $390.00 labor for a job that took maybe ten minutes. The tech did not have to order the part or come back. In checking with other repair companies Sears is way out of line. The only reason I let the tech do the job was that I had a 20% coupon and my retiree discount. If I need service again I will not call Sears. The other reason I let the tech do the job was if I refused I would be charged $105.00 for nothing.
Charging these outlandish prices is one of the reasons Sears is going out out of business.

Very polite knowledgeable serviceman appeared a day after my husband made the appointment. The electric pilot light for the oven had stopped working. I also had a problem with the electric pilot light for the stove but it was intermittent. Of course while he was here the stove worked just fine. I mentioned to him that I had a contract with Sears for my Central Air Conditioner, which I was in the process of renewing. He dialed a phone number for me to talk to a representative and I was able to cover my stove and air conditioner at the same time, which gave me a small savings. He did not have to do this but I appreciate that he did.

The service widow was between 10-2, with an arrival time about 1pm. I thought the arrival time would have been much earlier since it was the first appointment slot. The Sears repair men (2) were both respectful and courteous. It's been a week and my refrigerator is working well so far, with no water reappearing in the freezer of in the refrigerator. Job well done.

The tech called ahead of time to inform of the arrival window. He showed up on time, diagnosed the problem and promptly repaired the problem using new parts. He was professional and courteous, he explained what happened and how to avoid it happening in the future. The overall experience as great, he even introduced me to a new program by Sears that covers the whole house and would save me money. Currently checking it out to see the benefits .
