Home Services reviews in Valley Stream, New York

Went for a sofa bed. Excellent price. A gentleman by the name of O"Shea helped my husband unpack it and get into the car. A 🙌blessing. Wonderful!!!

This place has all the saving you want and more would not buy from another supermarket cause their prices are high they don't work with their community without us their is no store.

They have done it again! The checkout area has been rearranged, with less self check out registers and more cashier stations. The worst part is, the bagging area has been replaced with a bagging carousel with No Bags!! The process is much slower. If you watch the cashier to ensure the prices are accurate, your groceries are piling up on the carousel. If you have a lot of groceries, get 2 carts to use one after paying and bag them later, or at an empty register. It was a frustrating experience. I like to ensure I am paying the price that is listed, and I like to properly bag my items so they don't get crushed. I held up the line and felt bad, but I also caught a few items that the cashier double rang in her attempt to move quickly. Hopefully it's temporary!

Nice but super busy a long lines

It's so chaotic. There's tons of shoppers all the time and they run out of shopping carts quickly. Their supply is a good variety with a decent amount. Prices are definitely increasing.

This is an Inner City type place. Prices are high, people are rude and it reminds me of wanting to be out of NY and wanting to go back to Florida...

Probably the worst Walmart in New York. Always disorganized and overall just crazy. The only way I will buy something from here as if it’s through Instacart, and many times items end up not being available. Had to make a return and just reaffirmed how I felt since most of the staff hate working here.
On a positive note, Instacart does have in-store pricing, and there are often really good rollback prices on beverages and other items. Also, the no sugar added blueberry muffins are actually really great. -
Found it really hard to navigate and so many things were out of stock. The layout made it hard to find specific departments, you couldn't walk easily from one to another because the aisles are all in each other's way, there were pallets all over squeezing the space. It was just not a pleasant shopping experience at all. I guess I'm the only one who feels that way because the parking lot was very crowded so I guess a lot of people do like shopping here. The prices are good if you can find things but like I said everything I needed was out of stock, many gaping empty spaces on the shelves.

They Have Everything You Need Just Make Sure You Wear Your Walking Shoes It Is A Big Store

The moterized carts weren't charged. Staff was grump and not very helpful. Even though it was clear I had an injuury, they pointed me in many directions to go on a wild goose chase for a semicharged moterized cart. Typical Walmart behavior.

I don't like going to Walmart unless it's 6:00 when they open it's actually the workers there's so many in the aisle and I'm in a wheelchair and they don't move out of your way and they're very rude they don't need all those workers unnecessary relaxing something and they look at you like you have two heads

Total chaos. Makes no sense to have workers stock shelves, blocking isles with merchandize, empty refrigerators while there was merchandize sitting there, KNOWING how crazy Saturdays get with shoppers. I don't recommend this walmart AT ALL!!!

Just love going there. We drive from Brooklyn to Queens / Long Island border line. It's worth it.

Walmart is the conqueror of the retail business! You walking in for one thing you come out with 10 ,the places huge and the store has everything and it's quite large so you have a walking problem take your time! Oh yeah be prepared some of the checkouts can take a while.

A nice store, visibly well-kept, with polite staff. I was pleasantly surprised by the lack of crazy crowds and overcrowded parking.

My old leaf rake finally broke, so I came here to grab a new one and some of those big paper lawn bags for fall cleanup this weekend. While I probably wouldn't buy sensitive plants here, for basic tools and supplies, it’s a great option. I found a sturdy-looking rake and a huge pack of bags for under $25, which is a fantastic deal. The garden center checkout was closed, so I had to go into the main store and wait in a long line, which was the only downside. Still, it was a quick and successful trip for what I needed.

A nightmare experience. The cashier rang my groceries to the previous customer, then blamed me and said I was “supposed to tell him we’re not together.” He refused service multiple times, told me to leave my groceries, closed the counter, and continued helping the previous customer nicely. Staff grouped up, looked me up and down, and treated me in a way that felt biased. A manager came but did not talk to me or apologize. The disrespect is to the highest level. ‼️‼️‼️

I had an uncomfortable experience in the fitting room today. I brought several items to try on, including one white piece of clothing. The employee told me that I could not try on white clothing and that I needed to go get the same item in a different color. I have never heard of such a rule, and it made me feel uncomfortable and unfairly judged.
I’m not a frequent shopper, but I do shop here every few months, and today I spent over $600. I believe every customer deserves respectful treatment and clear, consistent policies. I hope management reviews this situation so it doesn’t happen to other shoppers. -
Everything you need at the tip of your fingers

The worst home Depot to go to, half of the parking lot is filled with tractor trailers. The store is unorganized and messy. I wish there was another option close by because it sharing the site with the Walmart makes for an unpleasant experience.
