Called to try an set up a meeting for an estimate. Since they're in W. Hempstead, and our location in S. Hempstead, seemed like the perfect, local choice. When I spoke to Francisco, and told him the location, he seemed to be looking for excuses as to why he couldn't take a look at the property. Sounded to me like he was doing a Google map search, and saw that it was a fairly small property. One that wouldn't yield BIG dollars, and thus, not worth his time. He actually said that; "I don't go there, coz I don't have business in the area." HUH?! Well, IF that's true, wouldn't you have to make someone your FIRST customer in a particular area, to get business going in the neighborhood?! Wow! I guess they only do BIG properties, because he can make more money. Things must be SO GOOD for DTLS, that even in this economy, he can afford to TURN DOWN potential business. What a business model. Laughable.

I have never been happier with a landscaper! They not only have a wealth of knowledge, they use their knowledge to deliver amazing results. To say that Francisco, his dad and his crew of men are professional would be a HUGE understatement!! No job, either big or small is done to perfection and in a timely manner. In a world where “respect” and “customer service” often gets shoved aside, it is so refreshing to find an established company that keeps both values in high regard! So on August 23, 2017 I contacted this company to come out to my home since we had plans to completely redo the landscaping. I spoke to Mr. Diaz who informed me that he would come to the home on Sunday, August 26, 2017 to assess the lawn. Aug, 26th came and went and no one showed up or called. I sent a text message to Mr. Diaz on Aug. 29th to see if we could reschedule. He informed me that his schedule has been a bit crazy and suggested rescheduling on Saturday at 8am on September 2nd. On Sept. 1st, I text Mr. Diaz to confirm out meeting at my home for 8am on the 2nd. He confirmed the date and time and thanked me for reaching out. On Sept. 2nd, I received a text at 7:51 am stating that he was not only running behind schedule but got into "a small fender bender" but he should be at the home by 8:30 am. No problem. We showed for the meeting, my fiancee and I toured him around the property and articulated a few ideas of what we wanted. Mr. Diaz said that he would draft up a sketch/landscaping plan and email it to us in a week. It is now September 13th. We received absolutely no email, phone call, or text message regarding our landscaping plan. Just before writing this review, I text him how disappointed we were about the lack of communication and follow-up and to tell him we would be using someone else's services and that he was to delete any photos he has taken of our home for the landscaping sketch/plan. He apologized for the "miscommunication" after we met and informed me that he had a "transmission issue" and his truck went south. He assured us that he would delete the photos. There was no miscommunication. There was no communication at all. I don't have the time to chase landscaping companies down. I wanted to use them because of their great star reviews, but if they can't even organize themselves to respond and follow-through then it's quite pointless. Wasted my time.

Francisco and his crew did a thorough job on maintaining our lawn. They have done clean, neat, and detailed jobs on both spring and fall cleanups. We're very satisfied with their work.

Diaz Touch has maintained our property for over three years now. They are always on schedule, their work is top notch, and the pricing is reasonable.

I highly recommend this company to anyone in the area.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY> UNPROFESSIONAL AND NO COMMUNICATION!

Francisco, you can try to justify this as much as you like but your behavior and lack of response was inexcusable. I called and texted multiple times. Your "thank you for the approval" was not useless; YOU LACK FOLLOW-UP AND PROFESSIONALISM. Families will settle for your business because there are more lawns than there are lawn service businesses to take care of them. So we have no choice but to settle for your everyday mediocracy. But what we don't have to settle for is your disrespect.

Francisco came to our home on Sunday, March 10, 2024 for an estimate of our property for a proposal. We received a proposal 5 days later, March 15. We negotiated a few items and was sent a revised proposal on the 16th and 18th. When we had met with Francisco on the 10th during the estimate, I had mentioned to him that I would be going into surgery towards the end of the month, and that we wanted to get everything in place because it was the start of the 2024 season and needed to let our current landscaper know that we were not renewing our contract. After we had received the last proposal, I texted him to let him know to move forward. THEN I NEVER HEARD FROM HIM AGAIN.

We let our existing landscaper go right before I went into surgery, 3/20. I spent 4 days in the hospital and a week at home in recovery and texted him on 4/10 (and called him repeatedly) to let him know that I was back from surgery, and to please let me know the status, we'd like to move ahead. The front yard was now looking horrendous. I texted and called again (multiple times) on 4/19, when he finally responded that night to tell me, (EXACT TEXT) "Thanks for the approval. I'd like as if you could allow me until next week to confirm". This, to me, meant to give him until next week to fit us into his schedule, to confirm the schedule.

I waited until that Friday and asked if he had any confirmation for the schedule, since there was NO communication since the 19th. Francisco did not get back to me until the 28th, only to tell me that he is booked for the season and cannot fit me into the schedule.

No communication from 4/10 to 4/19 to tell me that he couldn't take us as clients. And then waited until the 28th to let me know.
18 DAYS!!!

We reached out to him based on recommendations from our next door neighbors. NEXT DOOR. Not across the street, not around the corner. Our neighbors who we see from out of our kitchen window. The same neighbors who initially reported good service and have admitted that his communication is unprofessional, and in this case has left my front yard in a manor that is subject to town fines! Our property only has grass to be cut in the front yard.

His attitude and unwillingness to accept the fact that he dropped the ball is arrogant and disgusting. He lacks the maturity to manage customers and the skills to run a business.
