Lucky did a great job on repairing the shower diverter. It now works very well. He had an associate repair the drywall that had been damaged by a leak and the result was outstanding. I would highly recommend his company for any future renovation.

Lucky was straightforward, responded to my emails quickly, answered every question in detail, finished the job ahead of schedule, and has BY FAR the most reasonable rates in town for the HIGH level of quality work he does. I cannot reccomend Riverdale Home Improvement enough. They are exactly what you want when you hire a contractor.

Lucky and his team replaced our tub, pipes, and retiled after the work. They were fast, neat, cleaned as they went and did a final cleaning when they finished. No complaints!

I could not be happier than I am with the work of Riverdale Home Improvement. My grimy, neglected apartment has been transformed like Cinderella with expertly painted kitchen cabinets, new appliances, new baseboards, fresh paint, and gorgeous custom radiator covers. Some of the last minute trickier issues that they handled to perfection, included widening the cutout in a stone counter for a new cooktop, and building a new cabinet to switch a double oven cabinet to a new single oven. Riverdale Home Improvement came in on budget for the original scope of work and within the schedule they had anticipated.

Lucky and his team are truly wonderful. He recently completed a full bathroom remodel for me as well as a facelift of my entire apartment - all while I was in and out of town. Throughout the process communication was easy and all details were discussed. Everything was completed within the timeframe we had set and the project even finished early.
Upon completion my apartment was left exceptionally clean (especially for all of the plastering and demolition that was done).
Lucky also made the process of navigating and obtaining all necessary documents and permits needed to remodel in a New York City co-op easy as well - not an easy feat.

We are so glad we found Riverdale Home Improvement. We bought our house while still out of state, and Lucky took care of all the projects we had planned, plus details we would not have noticed or thought of until we moved in! All while communicating with us long distance. We've been in the house for a few months and are so happy with the work he and his team put in. We've had them back to do a couple of other projects that came up and they fit us into their busy schedule right away. They also saved us when we had flooding in the basement during the heavy rain in April, coming out after hours and staying late making sure it was under control while we tried to find a plumber. We are so very very grateful.

From the first conversations to the end of our renovation and at every point in between, Lucky and his team were responsive and professional, and, importantly, they showed great craftsmanship in completing the work in our apartment. Lucky led us through the process of renovation in a meticulous, smart, and reassuring manner, advising us and answering our questions. When I hired Lucky I was planning to prepare my apartment for sale in the future. My husband had recently passed away and I thought I would not stay here that long. When he finished I had a home that I wanted to be in and live in for many years to come. A home that still contained the memories of my husband but was now my.home. This I attribute to the manner that Lucky works with the homeowner. I really can not express in words the type and quality of work that Lucky and his crew accomplish when they take on in a home. The first word that comes to mind is respect. They show respect to the home owner and towards the objects in the home. Everything is done to take care of what already exists in the house and the changes that are occurring. They are exceedingly neat and make it as comfortable for the people in the home as is possible during construction. They work quietly and steadily throughout each and every day. They continually clean-up as they go along. When Lucky sees something that would make a difference to the project he presents his ideas. For my home that meant adding crown moldings in the living room and dining room and hallways and some very small changes that made my whole apartment take on a new and glorious look. (Of course it added to the cost but it was worth every penny.). I wanted new radiator covers and Lucky’s woodworking skills are exemplary and they are beautiful.
Lucky is a problem solver and I feel that he has expertise in most areas that concern design and construction in a home but he also makes sure to consult with the homeowner over any changes that need to be made while the project is going on.
I asked lucky to rehang my paintings as the project was coming to a close. I felt he hung everything with the care of work being hung in an art gallery. This in itself was a unique experience for me. Also the quality and time they spent preparing the walls for painting was something my walls had not experienced in 30 years and each and every wall is perfectly smooth. They are careful!
Lucky and his men care about every detail to make the project perfect.
Finally Lucky in the last month has come back in a timely manner when the cable company did something that effected a wall and he fixed it saying as usual “ Let’s see what I can do.” He came up with a perfect solution.
Needless to say I highly recommend Lucky and his team for any home improvement project! He builds, he takes down, he fixes, he changes, he designs, he accommodates, and once again he is respectful.

I've known Lucky for many years because he was our building's superintendent before he opened his own business. He is extremely trustworthy, reliable, and honest. So he was an obvious choice to redo our kitchen. Lucky and his guys did a complete gut renovation within the week --- they showed up on Monday morning in our kitchen that had 20+ year old cabinets and badly cracked flooring tiles and replaced everything and gave us a completely new kitchen by Friday evening.
