I called Rella Electric to come out for an estimate on a home based update to my electrical panel. I was scheduled for the very next day by a professional, amiable receptionist. I was greeted by Will on a timely basis and knew I would have a positive experience when, before entering my home, Will asked, "would you like me to take my boots off". I smiled and said that wouldn't be necessary, as I handed him a pair of boot covers, something I'm sure he doesn't experience every day.
From the moment he entered my home, Will was polished, knowledgeable, with a sense of humor; and understood exactly what I needed done. He was very easy to talk to because he actually listens. He was even instrumental in helping me pick out a replacement appliance, challenging me on "poor choice". I'm going with his suggestion.
I closed the deal and the upgrade will begin soon. I'll write again upon completion of the work, confident it will be another five star review. Thanks Will:)

Christopher was great. I installed two nest thermostats in my apartment and left an exposed wire touching metal, which was causing my hvac power to trip. Within an hour, he found the issue and fixed it. Very nice guy. On time. No complaints.

They rewired and completely replaced the entire electeical system in my 4 bedroom villa located in Puerto Plata. This included all panels, breakers, conduit, outlets and light fixtures, interior and exterior. Also rewired my pool filtration and pump system. The work was executed in a highly professional manner meeting American standards that you would expect of top tier electrical professionals in the United States, including every code and safety requirement. Absolutely no shortcuts. The work was done in a timely manner and there was no haggling over price, service, terms, and quality. This company provided the 5 star service you normally find in the U.S. but here in the D.R. If you want it done right the first time with no stress, then Chris is the man that will make it happen.

Humans answer the phone, a technician was sent out same day, INSANELY nice guy who stuck around for two hours fixing some errors on a prior electrician's work, some which he tackled for free and for other fixes and upgrades he drew up a set of clear options and packages with timelines and price points associated. Broke down the technical reasoning behind things in plain-speak and even helped gather evidence to show the lamp company why their fixtures were malfunctioning. Over-the-top customer service. Rella’s electricians saved the holiday for me and my family! 2 days before Thanksgiving, the lights in my kitchen decided they wanted to have a disco party.. after 3 hours of trying to figure out the flickering, I called for help. They showed up and had the lights working properly within an hour. Will definitely use them again and recommend them any chance I get!

I definitely made the right choice going with Rella Electric. I needed help with concealing a TV cord within the wall, and general inspection of outlets, and it was easy to schedule a time with Rella Electric. My experience from the first phone call to the electricians arriving to the completed work was phenomenal. Rella Electric listens to your requests carefully, and they're not shy with giving you a range for the estimate. They'll send you a text 30 minutes before their electricians arrive, and I love that they run on time. I was lucky enough to have Christopher and Raf help me with this small project, and they asked a few questions to help me decide how I wanted my TV setup (I have a Frame TV which sits flush on the wall, so concealing the cord was a must! we talked through the different options and went with the one that made the most sense for this setup). What took Christopher and Raf 20 minutes to do took other handy men who struggled for 2+ hours. Not only that, they were super neat and clean and made sure they left my space the way they found it. Christopher also took his time teaching me how to loosen up new outlets, and he made sure all of the outlets were easily usable. It was nice to have someone who knew what they were doing run a test and check all of the outlets during the visit. I feel super reassured about my apt now, and their work looks amazing. Super professional and attentive to detail, he was able to find the root of the problem after two other electricians had walked away from the job!! I really appreciated the punctuality In keeping our appointment ,the directness of assessing the problem and getting right down to the root of the issue , and overall the cleanliness of how the owner worked in my home. He took Care to protect the floors under where he was working and had tools and potential wire scraps. There was not a shred of evidence after the job was complete and during the job it felt that he was working with the same care for my home that he would treat his own..

Rella Electric – where do I start? From the moment I called, they returned my call immediately and scheduled a same-day appointment for an estimate. William came to my home, thoroughly went over all my options, and gave me a very fair price for the work that needed to be done.

They scheduled the actual work quickly, and when William and Brian arrived, they were on time, super professional, and incredibly hardworking. They explained what they were doing every step of the way and calmly handled any issues that came up during the process.

After the job was completed, Christina, the office manager, called to make sure everything was done to my satisfaction—and it absolutely was. There were a couple of small things I wanted adjusted, and she promptly scheduled someone to come out on their day off to fine-tune everything.
