I asked them to install a heat pump and take advantage of the coned rebates. They said they would be able to do that and initially said they would not charge for the rebate amount (as is common). Then they changed their quote and said they would not be able to not charge upfront for the rebate, which I found ironic since initially they had said that they would do that and advised to not go with other companies if they would charge for the rebate amount. They said that they had trouble getting rebates from coned, when two other companies I asked did not. I then check on the coned website if they were listed under clean contractors and neither I, nor the coned person dealing with these rebates could when searching with their name of "mini king". they also are not diamond installers with Misubishi (the heat pump manufacturer that they choose in the quote) and that reduces the warranty for the heat pump by 2 years, so be aware of that. The fact that they are not willling to take responsibility for the rebate when other contractors are, certainly raises a red flag and I am not sure what they are doing wrong if they do not get rebates for the last 6 months. I also called them a couple of times over the last several days, they did not pick up, nor did they call me when I asked them by email. However, when I left this review I received an email within the hour. Unprofessional, and a big waste of my time.

So now the response by mini king again does not talk truth and distorts. They obviously wanted my job since they provided a quote, but they did not do what they said they would do by taking respsonsibility for the rebate, so ridicolous to state they did not want the job. While coned announced yesterday that they will stop the rebates unless the order gets in by Friday, this had no bearing upon their weasling out before this was announced. I just submitted an order with another company who will take responsibility for the rebates. I am not rude, but if a company is unprofessional, and distorts and talks untruths etc I am annoyed.

My experience with Miniking was great! The owner of the company, Vinny, reached out to me quickly after requesting a quote for a new condenser (to replace a broken one). We quickly scheduled a home visit for a review of the space and to take measurements. A day or two after the home visit I had a quote. The quote was perfect for me, especially when compared with quotes received by two other companies. Vinny found a way to get way more for what I was able to spend. Vinny and his installer, Addans communicated well, and made themselves available to answer any questions or concerns. The actual installation of a condenser and two additional head units in my home took two quick days. Addans and his colleague (whose name I don't have) did a great job with the installation. Addans walked me through the work after it was done and provided necessary documentation, for my future reference. The resulting work was perfect. I'm very happy with the work that was done.

I had a fantastic experience with MiniKing. My mini-split was shorted out during the heat wave 2 weeks ago and from the moment I contacted Vinny, it was a quick and seamless process. He quickly scheduled a home visit to assess the damage and provide options. I initially wanted to buy my own Mitsubishi M series or Daikin LV unit and use them for installation which he was completely fine with and gave me a very reasonable estimate. However, he came back with a very competitive alternative with his own Fujitsu unit with a 10 yr warranty and everything installed within 4 day's time. The technician Addens was also very punctual and the installation was one of the easiest process I encountered. Everything was done prompt and neat. I definitely recommend Mini King for any HVAC jobs. I have had a few HVAC companies come out for a quote but Mini King beat them all and Vinny was super quick to respond to any questions or concerns. It was so easy to work with Mini King that even a cave man get his AC installed for a very competitive price in Westchester. I will only use Mini King going forward for any HVAC work.

I could not be happier with my decision to use Mini King for my mini split system installation. My job was not small, and included 7 head units and 2 condensers. From the beginning the technicians were informative, flexible and listened to every one of my requests. The work once contracted ( which was very reasonable), was neat, expertly and efficiently installed. After installation, I was contacted a few times to make sure the system was working properly. Every level of their work left me feeling fantastic about their small company. Someone's a personal touch from a small company is so much better than being a small fish in the pond of the giant HVAC companies who forget about you after they cash your check. Great job! I highly recommend them and would give a reference personally if called. Shout out to Vincent and Addans for making this a company I would proudly recommend to my family and friends

We moved in to our apartment 2 years ago knowing some of the biggies were going to need replacing pretty soon, so it wasn't a surprise when the old water heater went out.

We were so fortunate to have neighbors recommend HMC to us! Not only was the work high quality, but he went above and beyond to squeeze us into his already packed schedule. Professional, polite, responsive, speedy, capable and knowledgeable, we were in such good hands. We have HMC saved in the contact list for any future HVAC needs.
