Called Francis for a refrigerator problem - unusual noise. He came quickly, diagnosed the problem, ordered the part, came again as soon as the part was received and replaced it - fixed the problem. He is professional and pleasant to deal with.

I wish I could put in more stars! Francis is knowledgable, thoughtful, careful, explains everything, but most importantly, he is fair. He outlined worst case scenario but did everything to avoid it. Luckily, I didn't need worst case scenario!

Given the heatwave, other companies told me it would be a few weeks. I mean, of course they are backlogged! But Francis fit me into his schedule. He walked me thru everything, documented everything and even fixed things others had done wrong when something didn't seem right (e.g. hoses connected the wrong way).

Francis from Fasttech came to our house last November while we were having problems with our AC and heat, which our current provider could not fix. Francis was friendly, flexible, knowledgeable and quickly diagnosed the problem. After unsuccessfully trying to make it work with our current provider, and in a pinch because our AC suddenly broke and the temperatures were rising, we called Francis back.

We corresponded throughout by text, which was very quick, simple, and efficient. He even sent the work order through text, which made the review and approval process extremely quick and easy to navigate given my hectic schedule.

For the appointment, he came on an emergency basis and stayed overtime, while not charging us extra rates. He honored our payment of the service charge in November (months later). He came as early as possible and worked overtime trying to solve the problem, despite a difficult workspace and 90 degree temperature. He asked several sets of questions and took ownership of the situation. He also documented the whole process (from our initial text to schedule the appointment) very well and comprehensively checked all our systems (from outside and basement) and re-checked them after the job. He explained the issue thoroughly and clearly. And he got the job done.

Francis is a consummate professional, extremely hard working, gets the job done well and quickly, and is reasonable and flexible with pricing. We have started to build a trusted relationship with him and will be going to him for all our AC and heat needs going forward. We cannot recommend Francis and Fasttech strongly enough.

Had high expectations due to all the good reviews, but eventually didn’t feel that satisfied. Francis worked on diagnosing my furnace for about 40 minutes and didn’t figure out the root cause for the smell. Said it could be valve and igniter but wasn’t sure, so he left without fixing the issue, and still charged me $400+. He did find an issue with the placement of a cable which I appreciate though. He told me he might waive the first hour labor fee but eventually did not, so it was a $200 service fee plus additional $200 labor fee for just less than one hour, without fixing the issue. And 2 or 3 days later he quoted me another $1400 for the valve and igniter replacement. Given that he mentioned to me that if replacing valve doesn’t work he could replace the entire thing for me, I followed up and asked how much it would cost to go straight replacing the furnace. I haven’t heard back from him since then and it’s been a while.

I called Fastech 2000 for a second opinion. I was told by my local service company (Irvington NY) that I need a full condenser replacement (nearly $4700.00). Francesco inspected the unit, fixed a fuse, cleaned up a few contact wires and my AC was up and running. Prompt, friendly and honest service. I highly recommend Fastech 2000.
