We had our landscaping redone. The design was excellent with native plantings that attract butterflies and hummingbirds yet are deer-resistant. The project started right on time and was completed as promised. It turned out better than expected with plants blooming right away and sure enough, butterflies and hummingbirds. Our ARB requirements were met and the curb appeal of our home was greatly enhanced. I would recommend the Southern Landscape Group to anyone who is looking to improve the appearance of their home.

TSLG installed irrigation, turf and landscaping. They showed up as planned, worked hard and delivered as promised. We are very happy with their work and would use them again. They also provided follow up after the job was completed. A delivery truck ran over a valve box and caused a leak. They came out within two hours and repaired the leak. A big shout out to Kenny and Kevin for their help throughout this project.

TSLG did an outstanding job with resolving some of our drainage issues, installing new sod along with several trees. Billy, Kenny, and Pedro and his team were excellent to work with. We are very with the work that was done. Would highly recommend TSLG.

Ed with The Southern Landscape Group was a huge help. We called last minute with some irrigation issues we needed help with. Ed returned my call within 24 hours and was at my house 3 days after my initial call. He was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and answered all of our questions. He even showed us a few of his trade secrets. We will be calling The Southern Landscape Group for all of our future needs. Based on my experience I would recommend you do the same.

If anyone is looking for an amazing Landscape Designer, Jennifer Riley is your girl! We built four years ago and We were so happy with the way she planned everything to fit our needs and to meet our budget. She's an artist and very well educated in her profession as it has been her passion since she was a little girl! She is the absolute best around. If you need a design or advice in planning your landscape, no matter if it's a big or small project, I highly recommend her and the Southern Landscape group. You will be amazed at how they can transform the look of your home!

Jennifer Riley is great. They do good work and respond quickly to emails. We received a lot of compliments on the job. We did have some hiccups but they responded quickly to our concerns and worked fast to get it resolved. Thanks!

Hired these guys to put in a new patio…Water pools in the middle a few inches deep with every rain…Water should flow away from the home much more efficiently than it does. Wont use them ever again.

This company - from the designer (Jennifer) to the Project Manager and his onsite crew leaders and their crews worked through a long (8weeks -not counting design time) and comprehensive project at my house in Southern Pines. I am on job sites for my own profession and I can say that they responded to my changes mid project with grace and efficiency. I have had an excellent experience with everyone involved and look forward to a long relationship with this company for years to come.

The whole team at TSLG did an amazing job! Jennifer did a phenomenal job with the design and was so easy to work with! She listened to what we envisioned and ran with it. It was so much better than we ever thought our back yard could be. The team that came to install our pavers was always early, worked very hard, asked for our input throughout and finished right on schedule! I highly recommend and we will be using them again in the future for sure!

Southern Landscape Group helped us with landscape design and installation in the fall of 2020. Jennifer Riley was our designer and she was very knowledgeable, professional and patient. She presented us with many options and was very sensitive to our preference for not overcrowding the plants. She also provided addresses where we could see the specimens in in the environment rather than just a picture.
Once we made our selections, Southern Landscape chose stock that was very healthy and well shaped from the start. Our installation included the placing of three rather large boulders which were maneuvered with amazing precision. We were impressed with the crew’s knowledge and willingness to do anything that we asked. Follow up cleaning and repair of existing plantings was top notch.
Overall, it was a highly satisfying experience and we look forward to enjoying our our new vista.

We designed our entire backyard with Southern Landscape. The design is beautiful and Jennifer and team are very accommodating with phasing the plan our to meet our needs. Phase one was the firepit and rock swale. We are looking forward to many future projects with them!

Terrible design work. After waiting months to get a designer, the designer ignored everything I asked for in the project and did their own thing, giving me a patio design i didn't want. Then they assumed my budget was 35k somehow and gave me quatoes for 38k and 42k. The worst part, their design extended past my back fence. Im not sure how as a professional you can't color within the lines. From the reviews I was seriously shocked how bad the experience was.

The Southern Landscape Group did an amazing job on our home landscaping project. Jennifer the designer really listened to what we wanted and had great ideas. Her estimated time frames were very accurate and we knew just what to expect. The crews working to make it happen were very diligent and always cleaned up the worksite at day’s end. We are very happy with the result.

We recently had TSLG manage a major renovation of our backyard, including an expanded patio, fire pit, yard regrading, stone walkway, shrub transplanting, and drywell/drainage installation. It was not a quick process -- in fact, it took a good bit longer than their estimated duration. But that was the only drawback. Everything else was done perfectly. John and Kenny developed the plan, brought in the best sub-contractors, and turned our backyard into a beautiful and relaxing space where we intend to spend a good bit of our time. The masonry work is the best we've ever seen. Following a major rainstorm mid-project, John & Kenny increased the capacity of the drywell and drainage piping to ensure it can handle the big NC storms. All the transplanted and added plantings are healthy and already looking great. Best of all, the communication with their team was open and clear, and we always got quick answers to our questions. Bottom line is that we are extremely pleased with the finished result!

Update 09/22/2022: They’ve just completed an amazing patio renovation for us. Kenny, John and Pedro and his team are great to work with. Great communication and attention to detail. Workmanship is excellent. I highly recommend for landscaping projects and maintenance

This company is doing an excellent job taking care of our lawn. The employees are friendly and they take pride in their work. We’re very happy with the attention to detail by TSLG.
