Ice maker acted up, got service on 8/19. Tech ordered parts and said it would take a week. Parts came next day, appt STILL not available until 8/27. The next day 8/20, refrigerator stopped working, no freezing or anything. On 8/27 tech had problem can't make it to us. Next available date 8/31 12 to 5. Buying ice all this time with medications needing refrigeration. On 8/31 tech NEVER showed NOR CALLED. NEXT APPT 9/9. ALL YOU GET IS RUN AROUND ON MESSAGES AND PHONE NUMBERS. THEIR SERVICES SUCK TO THE MAX

Outstanding and honest AC technician with more than 30
Years of experience. Immediately detected the problem and worked with home warranty to get things fixed. -
Terence was great. He diagnosed my ice maker/water dispenser problem before he even looked at the fridge, just from my written request for service. Thanks Terence.

The technician John was very professional and ensured the repair to our microwave was done correctly. He took the extra time to clearly explain what was broken and what was needed to fix the issue.

Ignacio was fantastic, knowledgable and professional!
Automatic Communication system is terrible no real time updates or accuracy with expected time of arrival -
I don’t understand how we could be charged for a cancelled appointment that we didn’t make. We had a scheduled appointment for July 2 that could not be honored because we were told that a technician for this area could not be found and we could find one on our own and be reimbursed under our warranty. The reason we purchased the warranty was to be guaranteed service in a reasonable timeframe. Our first call for service was on June 22nd and was given a date of July 16th. Which was not acceptable in this heat. After a few more calls we were given a date of July 2nd.
No service then and we had to have air after staying in a hotel for a few nights to get some relief. We are very disappointed because we relied on our warranty to get our unit repaired without us having to pay out of pocket because there were no technicians in our area on July 2nd to do the scheduled repair. -
Jonathan was an awesome tech who quickly found the issue and installed the required parts to get the dryer back up and operational.

They cancelled the visit twice, wasting limited time needed to repair the appliance. Unreliable. I would not trust them for anything since they can't even honor diagnostic appointments.

Really great service, John knew what was needed and very clearly explained my options and gave reasonable advice. Much appreciated!

Paid $119 for a refrigerator diagnosis but needed to wait 24 hours to receive the written repair estimate because the appliance technician had not closed the ticket. However, when I spoke to the appliance technician he said he had closed the ticket at the time of service because that is the only way he could get paid for the diagnostic fee. Needless to say, I would not recommend Sears Home Services to anyone.

I would NOT recommend Sears. We had a tech out to look at our Kenomore Elite refrigerator/freezer which was not staying cold enough. He said it was in spec and left without doing anything. Another repair man I called correctly diagnosed it as a failing LG linear inverter compressor which is all too common I found out. The refrigerator repair was too expensive we had to replace it after only seven years of service. I made at least three calls to Sears 800 number support service and was given the runaround every time. I am out $129 for nothing and I wasted way too much time dealing with Sears Appliance Repair.

Although he was not able to find the problem, he suggested we video it next time. He also didn't charge and said they would come back in 90 days if need be.
Very professional! -
My appliance mechanic Ignacio was outstanding. This man is super knowledgeable about washing machines. He is also a very kind and patient man. Thank you Ignacio for coming out late on a rainy Friday night.

ZERO STARS!!!! Total and complete SCAM!!! DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM!! Came out and diagnosed our fridge. Ordered a part that we paid over a thousand dollars for and then they ghosted us. Had an appointment for the repair and the technician NEVER showed up or called. Only AI loop answers the phone for order and appointments. Impossible to speak to a human. The picture of the building on google is also fake. Drove to it and its completely empty and the sign was removed from the building. Save yourself- call anybody else!!!! SCAM ALERT!!!!

Had a tech come out to look at our freezer that stopped working the beginning of January. He diagnosed a compressor & some other small parts. They gave us a quote of $1300+ for the parts & repair. The technician came back late one afternoon & put in the compressor but couldn’t finish the job. Said he didn’t have enough refrigerant to finish. Said he would come back the first thing the next day. Of course, that didn’t happen. He eventually showed up & spent several more hours doing the repairs. Told us the freezer would get down to temperature in 24 hours. Finally got to temperature 4 days later. We went out & purchased food to fill the freezer. A few days later, it stops working again. Lost all the food! The technician comes back & said there wasn’t enough refrigerant so he added more. Said to wait 24 hours for it to get to temperature. Guess what didn’t happen. Called again for service. A different guy came at our request. Spent about 5 minutes looking at it & said he has no idea what’s wrong. You call the office & get the run around. People put you on hold & conveniently accidentally hang up multiple times. How this company can be associated with Sears is beyond me. Do not call this service provider if you want your repair done! Find someone else.

Technician was great at finding the issue, ordering the replacement part, and changing the part, refrigerator is on and if the problem is fixed will be clear after 4-5 hours as refrigerator was unplugged for last 2plus week. Tech gets 5 star rating however Sears Managment that oversee the warranty repair gets below average rating because it took 4 weeks to repair the issue and mgmt. was suppose to call and they never did. Survey came to fast as I do not know if refrigerator is working as expected.

The technician never called or showed up but marked the job completed!! This is the worst experience. I have the Sears protection plan, I have been waiting over 2 months for the service to get completed...I've called several times, each time, the rep said they would reschedule, ended up with another appointment 2 weeks later. My $100 deductible was supposed to be waived, yet the technician said it wasn't paid the reason he canceled the appointment...Totally dissatisfied 😡10/8/24 He never showed up again, I have been waiting all morning marked the job completed!!! This is absolutely ridiculou😡 This Technician is racially profiling now, he canceled 4 appointment s already. My refrigeration has been out for over 2 months now, totally ridiculous 😠 He did it again Suamys V. Keeps making my service appointment completed, but never showed up. So I keep calling customer service, customer service Keeps escalating this matter, rescheduling me, sending the same technician Suamys V, who Keeps making the service appointment completed. My refrigerator has been down for over 2 months now. Sears Home Services is not worth it at all. Suamys Yovanni V even signed a receipt for for the service visit which he never showed up & I didn't sign it, that's forgery!! I am definitely going to report this the better Business Bureau. He's done it again, marking the appointment completed which He's never showed up for. SUAMYS YOVANNI V Is the technicians name, he is even signing the Receipts. This makes the 6 appointment that SUAMYS YOVANNI V HAS CANCELED. 8th Appointment, Suamys Yovanni never showed up again and he is marking the appointment completed so he can get paid for the contracting job..At this point Legal action. Suamys V Yovanni is even marking the job completed and forging my signature.

This was the most horrible experience. The technician did not do nothing. Refused to look at the refrigerator because my 100 fee was wavied by 210. He walked out the house when he was talking to 210 leaving the customer service rep speechless. As soon as I told him what was going on he was trying to leave without doing service. 210 has rescheduled for 8/24/24 I really hope he does not come back. Very dissatisfied with Sears.

The Sears Appliance Repair experience started out as expected then went South. The window for the service person to come was 8:00 am to 12:00 pm which is a nuisance but is typical. At 7:30 am an email arrived saying the service person would arrive between 7:35 am and 8:35 am and I would get a text when he was on his way. He arrived at 8:50 without sending a text. The issue was that my ice maker had stopped making ice but otherwise seemed fine. The service person opened the door to the ice maker. flicked the arm that shuts off the ice maker when the bin is full and pronounced that the ice maker was broken and needed to be replaced. He fiddled on his phone then said the replacement icemaker was not available. We had been making ice in ice cube trays for a couple days and were prepared to keep doing that. the service person collected his $119 diagnostic fee then left. It took me all of 15 minutes to find the replacement part on Amazon and order it. I cycled the power to the ice maker for the nteenth time and an hour later the 'broken' ice maker was making ice.
