Chris has been incredibly knowledgeable in helping me with a drainage issue on a house I’m set to close on next week. His guidance has been invaluable, and I truly appreciate his expertise. What stands out most is his passion for what he does and his integrity, which I admire greatly. I highly recommend his services to anyone in need of expert advice and honest work.

Last fall we had a sinkhole open up near a drain that the builder had put in to alleviate a low spot in our back yard near a retaining wall.  After 2 other estimates from people not really telling us why it happened, just that they would fix it, we came across reviews for Triple Earth and we are SO glad we did. We really feel that they saved our house. They explained what was happening and why in terms we as normal homeowners could understand.
We did have a delay getting started but that was because our HOA took over a month to approve the work request so we lost our original spot. No one can expect a business to hold up work for that long.  Once they got started, the only delays were due Mother Nature raining on the project.
Triple Earth was professional and very easy to work with. Chris and Katie and the guys were great and kept us updated and informed as work was being done as well as provided many many pictures of construction progress and explained everything to our satisfaction.
As the work progressed, they found several issues with our foundation that were surprises to everyone and frankly, should never have passed original inspection when the house was built. They were able to correct and repair everything so that the foundation is stronger and more secure than ever. After all the other issues, they we’re finally able to take care of the original drainage problem, tying the French drains into the original drain the builder had put in. We’re really pleased with the way the french drains look. The river rock looks great against the house and has settled in and blended well with what we already had out back, (excellent suggestion Chris).
We’re currently waiting to get on the calendar for our annual inspection and clean out of the drains.
We highly recommend this group of people. As we said above, they are professionals. They are conscientious about their work and they take pride in what they do.

Put simply, Chris and the Triple Earth team are just different. Old School. Relationship Driven. My wife and I built a new home in 2022 on a sloped lot and the builders did not install a drain along the front of the house. As expected less than 6 months later we had water pooling at our doorsteps during and after rain storms and needed to find a way to protect our investment. I researched a good deal to find the right provider for our French drain solution and read a lot reviews and comments. The short answer to the negative reviews I've seen is that good work takes time! I haven't encountered very many professional service providers that take the same care and quality that Triple Earth does with their work at every single detail of the job. Quoting, Design, Planning, Communication, under-promising and over-delivering. Chris had his hand in every aspect of our job - You can tell that he purposefully keeps his client base smaller so that he can give his unwavering standard of quality and customer service to each job. I'll be honest it took a good deal of follow up from quoting to execution but having gone through the process and successful installation and several conversations with Chris it makes a lot of sense. Chris was very accommodating - worked within our budget and was constantly finding ways to give us a great experience. His knowledge of the industry is very impressive and its easy to see his passion for his craft and for customer service. If you want your job done cheap and fast look elsewhere. If you want a CUSTOM - designed SOLUTION from a highly experienced team that has your best interest at heart then Triple Earth is well worth the wait.

We had a longtime issue with drainage on our property due to the layout of our yard and a poorly graded surface that didn't allow for proper drainage. When Helene hit, we found out just how vulnerable we really were. We immediately did our research and reached out to Triple Earth. After inquiring about their services, I immediately received a response and setup a time for a consultation. Chris (owner) came out and was super prepared with topographical maps of our property. I was impressed that he already had an understanding of the extent of our problem even before he arrived. He could even tell me the rough estimate of the volume of water we would receive during a heavy rain. Additionally, he already had a plan for how to attack our problems. We knew Triple Earth was the right choice for us due to good communication, prompt replies, and their technical understanding. Chris said he would have a detailed quote with site plans withing 2-weeks. He did just that, delivering us a very specific plan with a detailed scope of work. Chris believes in a total drainage solution, he does not believe in half-a*$ing a job. For us, we wanted peace of mind. We did not want to worry every time there was a tropical system rolling in. Chris provided a solution that has given us the peace of mind we were looking for. Chris, Eddie, and Kheri were awesome to work with and are true professionals. Many so called "graders" are often people who do other work, but offer grading/drainage control, yet do not have the expertise that these people do. This IS what they do, and they do it well. We now have a setup that included 3-layers of controls (including swells, drain boxes, french drains, grading, waterproofing/parging of foundation). Water now has to get past layer upon layer of defenses. We would recommend Triple Earth to anyone who is struggling with water issues, is worried about shady contractors, skeptical of contractor knowledge, and most importantly - wants to end their drainage nightmares.

Great company with great people that does great work. Chris was very thorough in investigating the property and detailing what work they would complete. Can’t say I have a single issue with the final project- was an absolute game changer for what was needed and will absolutely reach out moving forward with other projects.

Only issue would be the expectations of timeline. The project timeline was often delayed or lengthened. Chris won’t sacrifice quality for speed, which I respect but clearer expectations would have resolved a lot on my plate.

In summary, the company will educate and provide a great completed project for you, just may take more time than anticipated to have it done correctly.

I hate having to provide such a low rating but it's valid after they finished the work (kinda) approximately a year ago.

I too had issues getting them to come out. Once they did, I was impressed with Chris's knowledge like others who have reviewed. I had a lot of free time to stay after them about starting (and finishing the work). They do stay busy -- but the only reason I can think of them taking other work before finishing work (with the exception of bad weather delays) is there is most likely a cash flow problem. Or maybe my job didn't cost enough (it did...overpriced) to justify working on it first.

Now...to the review of the work. Workmanship was subpar. 1. My gravel drive was not installed correctly...took them over a week to correct and the correction was sloppy. 2. The rip rap installed around my culvert fell down. Called them and was told they would be out the next week. That was October of 2024 -- just a month after they finished the work that was started in March 2024. They have yet to come back. 3. Catch basin -- One of the catch basins was woefully undersized. 4. The swale created last year has gradually filled and is almost level with the rest of the lawn. 5. The catch basins in the yard are not all connected and do not have holes drilled into the bottom of them which means the water stands in the catch basin. 6. My gutters were smaller than the drainage pipes they had. They made it "work" by taping the gutter with the pipe -- yeah that's going to hold up.

Job took from March to September. Cost over $20,000. The work was shoddy and did not hold up. In addition, they asked for the final payment before finishing the job. Overall extremely disappointed.

Pic is from November 2024 when I contacted Chris to ask him to come fix it. The rip rap is almost entirely gone above the culvert since that pic was taken.

Chris and his crew really came through for me and my clients on a project. I am a realtor and had a home listed for sale that needed some drainage work in the front of the home to divert water away from the foundation. Chris came out right away and gave us a reasonable quote for not just that work but some additional interior items that we needed done. He went above and beyond with his communication, speed of work and cleanliness. He even completed small "extra" repairs that he saw because he just felt they had to be done. I will be calling Triple Earth again for my clients and I will use him at my own home a well.
