Barber Heating & Air

Writing this review is really a split review, where the initial call to come and replace my freezer compressor which is under manufacture warranty and I had a new replacement one already sent from the factory, just needed it put in. That was the asking from me. Never got any other questions about it from the office like do you have new starter electronics, or other required parts they know will be required. After the visit is why this review is so low, because I believe the office could have given me a better estimate or explained themselves better when I was trying to get an estimate before I agree to a call to begin with. Except they charged me $99 diagnostic fee which I knew the compressor was bad already, and the first hour $155.00 upfront and on the phone before scheduling. The techs that came were nice and friendly, but just agreed that the compressor was bad, did no work, except to say it's required to replace a filter on the line too, which they could have asked about that before coming so I could get one sent under warranty from factory before coming out. So, I paid for them to come and tell me my compressor was bad, already knew that, and got nothing accomplished and cost me those fees and left me an estimate for close to $1500 to fix it! Super bad service by Company, should do better business than that so, that's why my review is low, they should give me a refund instead of an apology of this review, cause I will not call them again! They are suppose to be the professionals knowing their industry, they knew what was needed and should have asked if I had each part that was required to be replaced from the factory. I did not call them to confirm what was wrong, I called them to come and replace the compressor, they did not even have the necessary parts either to do it for a fee!

UPDATE: Owner stepped up and apologized for the confusion and refunded ALL the money even though I was willing to pay for the trip charge. I will admit even my employees make mistakes that put me and the company sometimes in a bad light.

Small business, We had Cody Robeson come out to look at our alternative air chocolate cooler. From calling and setting the appointment to how quickly he fixed the issue everything was fantastic. My wife hates dealing with contractors, but she was raving how much of breath a fresh air Cody was. 100% recommendation.
