We absolutely love our new retaining wall in the backyard! They did an incredible job and it looks amazing. The crew was on time every morning (it only took a few days for a small wall). They were always responsive and answered questions quickly. If anyone is looking for a residential retaining wall, I’d recommend Genesis! They went above and beyond to help spread leftover stone, and moved a big pile of dirt to make it easier for us to use later. Reasonably priced, quick efficient work, and a beautiful end product.

Dylan, Jack and the team did a fantastic job on a retention wall project for our backyard. They were easy to work with , paid attention to smaller design details and turned our sloppy inaccessible backyard to a beautiful usable lot. Couldn't be more happy with their work.

5 star experience with Dylan and his Genesis crew! He had excellent communication and helped me pick out the perfect retaining wall design for my front yard. The guys were extremely efficient and got the job done much quicker than I expected. I absolutely love how it turned out and have even had neighbors stop to tell me how great the wall looks! I am so happy with the amazing job Dylan and Jack did on my front yard. The transformation is incredible! They have a great work ethic, are extremely conscientious and knowledgeable. They took the time to discuss the options, and pro and cons of each. Then explained the entire process in detail. They did a meticulous job installing the sod and cleaned up completely after. They even set up sprinklers for me so that all I need to do is walk out and turn on the water. I highly recommend them. They are incredibly honest, considerate and kind. So happy I found them.

We had an amazing experience working with Dylan and Jack and highly recommend them for any yard or outdoor project! Our backyard was extremely overgrown with large bushes and ivy, plus we had an old shed that needed to be removed. They handled everything—from clearing out the mess to removing the shed, putting up a brand new fence, pouring a concrete slab for a new shed, and grading the yard to prevent drainage issues around the fence and trees.

They got started right away, finished on time, and kept us updated throughout the whole process. Their work is high-quality, and the value for the price is excellent. On top of that, they went above and beyond—offering advice on landscaping and grass, helping us look for shed discounts, and making sure everything turned out beautifully.

Our yard looks completely transformed now, and we couldn’t be happier. Dylan and Jack are skilled, kind, and a pleasure to work with. We’ll definitely be calling them again for future projects!

We have looked for a while to get someone to construct a patio for us with zero response. Once I contacted Genesis they were fast with quote and here doing the work immediately. Everyone we spoke with was very professional at all times. The quality of the materials and the labor was absolutely above and beyond what we expected!! When I reached out to Dylan at Genesis I had been staring at the project that was my backyard for over a year trying to envision how to solve for a terribly sloped space that had zero ability to grow grass (or anything). I had made some progress from where it started, but I felt like I was never quite going to get where I wanted it. A couple weeks of work with Genesis and I have the outdoor space I've been dreaming about.

You shouldn't doubt for a second when this group says they treat every project like it's their own home. They take it to heart and hear what you want/need, and will provide great recommendations to getting you there. I watched the team meticulously place every single paver and stone.

I was raised being told to take pride in my work and to never cut corners, and so it's very obvious to me when I see others who subscribe to that same mantra. These guys do and that's who you want to work with. Could not recommend them any more highly.

I couldn't be more happy with the work of Dylan, Jack and Ernesto on my patio! Before the "sale" Dylan was so responsive and helpful with the details (including finding me great deal on the stone!) During the project Jack oversaw every detail. Ernesto (both father & son!) did great work. After, Dylan stopped by twice and was focused on our satisfaction. On time, on budget and exceeded my expectations!

I hired this company to install a small (12 ft) patio. My priority was to have a patio area that a wheelchair can easily access. Jack and Dylan came out to look at the yard and discuss the project. I received a quote a few days later. They completed the project in 3 days (the delivery truck was late).

I cannot say enough good things about Dylan and his team. After a year of taking care of my yard by myself I noted several problem areas making it a bit challenging for me to deal with. Dylan came over and I discussed/showed him my concerns along with some thoughts I had in mind. My goals were to make maintaining the yard easier for me and to improve upon the aesthetics of my outdoor space. Dylan had some fabulous ideas and I immediately knew I wanted him to assist me. It has been just over 2 years since the work has been completed. I am still thrilled with what they did and have been able to maintain my yard easily. I definitely spend more time outside working on the yard and natural areas than I ever had. I highly recommend them! I will be contacting them in the future to discuss a hardscaping project.

Dylan and his group did outstanding work, and were excellent problem-solvers when the inevitable real-world realities didn't match the design. I'd highly recommend them for any outdoor hardscape project.

I am so grateful for Dylan, Jack and their team at Genesis Outdoor Living. They were absolute lifesavers when it came to fixing my poorly installed paver patio. The previous contractor had done such a terrible job; leaving me in a difficult situation which necessitated me terminating the paver installation. Genesis was able to correct the many deficiencies which I was left with and create a stunning paver patio. Jack was on site every day to supervise the installers. I must add that Angel and Jose are true artisans when laying pavers, I was stunned by their attention to detail.

We consulted with a few other contractors but Genesis was a clear winner. Dylan has an eye for details, expertly crafted the perfect design that we wanted and made it come true. He answered all of our questions with professionalism, knowledge and patience. He was always responsive; within minutes of emailing he would call me. He really cares about you! It was our first very big house project and he made us feel very secure every step of the way. He even helped us with our HOA approval, which was a huge help!! I don't frequently write reviews, but when you find a team that is quality you want to spread the word. We were so happy with Dylan and his team from start to finish. We did basically a complete overhaul of our front yard: trees removed, railings replaced, fresh concrete walkway, new retaining wall and sod. The before and after is incredible. They were on time, friendly, had great communication, fair in price and did quality work. Even the smallest details were seen to and any concerns or issues quickly resolved. I will be recommending them to everyone I know and certainly will be calling them back for future projects.
