I have hired Metcalf over and over again for a reason! They do a great job, are prompt and curteous, and go above and beyond to make sure the customer is happy. Plus they are reasonably priced! Over the years they have painted the interior and exterior of our house, refinished our hardwoods, laid new hardwoods, and replaced our carpet. I've always been thrilled with the work!

We recently completed our second project with Metcalf Flooring and wish we could give them more than 5 stars! They repaired our hardwoods after a dishwasher leak, then we had them replace our upstairs carpets a few months later. Of all the companies we have worked with for various home repairs, they have been the most enjoyable to work with by far. Carmen (flooring director) is such a gem for the company! Her communication is top-notch, she's knowledgeable about all things flooring, and she seemed to genuinely care that everything was completed to our liking. We recently had interior and exterior painting done, including new window trim (inside and out), dormer repairs and painting, and some trim replacement. Inside they painted our stairwell, ceiling and hallway, including wainscoting and a few other doors. The team showed up on time, confirmed the scope of work and completed everything with great attention to detail. A final walkthrough ensured our expectations were met. Metcalf Painting and Flooring painted the complete exterior of our house including our screened in porch and staircase. We had the interior of our home repainted. We went with Metcalf after interviewing and receiving quotes from several businesses and independent contractors. They were not the cheapest, but they were the company we felt would do the best job. Steven prepared the estimate and walked us through the process. They use high powered head lamps to identify any needed repairs and all irregularities are sanded and prepped before painting. They move the furniture and cover everything in plastic. The crew of three was in our home from Monday to Friday. They were extremely courteous and pleasant, and they went out of their way to insure that we had a room where we could get away from the painting, and each night they cleared away as much plastic as they could and stowed all their tools so we could move around and live in our home. They cleaned our home when they were done, and Steven inspected the work and made sure any touch ups were done; there were only a couple. I could go on and on, but suffice it to say we’d hire Metcalf again!

We had the wallpaper stripped and repainting done in our foyer. Metcalf did a first class job. They showed up on time and completed the project on time. The workers were very careful to protect the floors and the other parts of the house, and they did a thorough cleanup. The foyer looks beautiful, and I am very pleased with the work.

We had a wonderful experience with Metcalf. We needed our entire home painted very quickly as well as some carpentry work to the front and back porch. Our project manager, Daniel was amazing to work with. He had a team pulled together quickly and they finished our job in just a few days ... 2 days earlier than promised. He always checked the progress of the job and the work being done. The crew was always on time and cleaned up nightly so there was never a mess after they left. The painters were very pleasant and respectful of the house and they took their time yet worked quickly to get everything finished on time. I would highly recommend Metcalf.

GREAT EXPERIENCE! Our crew painted the exterior of our house. They communicated any existing damage that might need repair (i.e. wood rot, existing gutter damage) and were very careful to cover bushes when spray painting.

Metcalf has this process down! They had to replace nearly three-quarters of the 30-year old siding to paint. A team of carpenters came in and took over for a week. Then the paint/prep team came in and quickly got the job finished. The whole process took about two weeks and the house looks brand new!

Everybody was easy to deal with and professional. Eric was very responsive to inquiries and checked on the job as it progressed.
