We used Metcalf to paint our home office and touch up a kitchen cabinet (painted years ago by another company). They were able to come within days of hiring, their team was respectful and extremely clean, and they did a meticulous job painting. Of the 4 quotes we gathered, they were actually in line or a bit less than the others, but their quality was fantastic. Wouldn't hesitate to use again or recommend to friends.

I recently used Metcalf Painting and Flooring to paint the exterior of my house. Steven West the project manager, helped determine the best products for my home, provided a detailed estimate, answered questions and communicated progress. The paint crew that worked on my home were prompt, efficient, answered questions and left the job site clean at the end of each day. Great crew to work with.

This was the third time I used Metcalf Painting and Flooring to paint the exterior of my home and the second time Steven was the project manager. I would use them again for future projects.

The Metcalf team did a really nice job painting our family room and foyer. They were prompt, professional, thorough and careful. They were very diligent about cleaning up helping to get the furniture squared away upon completion. Highly recommend.

Metcalf painting just painted the exterior of our home and did an outstanding job! We had them paint a house for us in Cary years ago, and they did a great job so we hired them to paint current home in Pittsboro. Steven came out to take a look and give us a quote. The quote was very detailed, and the price was very reasonable compared to our other quotes. Steven was very good at communicating the timeline, so we knew when to expect the crew. Manuel and his crew did an amazing job. They were very neat and respectful. They got the job done very efficiently and left our home looking like a new house! Even the windows are perfectly cleaned! Steven and Manuel came back to do a final walk through with us, touched up a few picky items for us, and it’s perfect. So glad we hire them again!

Metcalf is top notch at reasonable prices. Daniel led the team to paint the exterior of our home, including stained porch ceilings and front door. They have also completed interior and exterior jobs for several neighbors and friends. He was very patient as we needed our roof replaced prior. Daniel and the team have been very professional, detail oriented, good communicators, and excellent in every way. I trust him…and so should you! About a year ago, we had Carmen and the team install carpet across an entire floor - they did a good job too! Give them a call…

We recently used Metcalf for interior painting of our home as well as carpeting. We were extremely satisfied with both of our projects. Eric was professional and thorough, we felt very comfortable moving forward with Metcalf from our first pre-project meeting. Communication was excellent from the estimate all the way through the final walk through of our project. The crew showed great attention to detail and we are very happy with how everything turned out. We worked with Carmen for our carpeting project, and encountered the same level of professionalism, communication and craftsmanship. We would highly recommend Metcalf to anyone.

We recently had our sunroom painted by Steven (project manger) and Manuel (crew leader), and we couldn’t be happier with the results. They did an outstanding job—very professional, detail-oriented, and dedicated to high-quality work. They removed our popcorn ceiling and grasscloth wallpaper prior to skim coating, wall repair and painting. Metcalf Painting and Flooring did a fabulous job installing our LVP flooring. The quality of their work was excellent, and the attention to detail really stood out. They went above and beyond by thoroughly cleaning the house afterward and beautifully painting the baseboards, which made everything look fresh and finished. Professional, efficient, and easy to work with—I would absolutely recommend them and would not hesitate to use them again. Carmen and her team had great communication! I would highly recommended.

I have hired Benjamin for multiple projects. Drywall remove and replacement, interior painting and exterior painting. His work is exemplary. He is always professional and timely. I appreciate his work ethic and approachability. Great work always!!

Ben is AMAZING and incredibly professional! I call him for all of my home repair needs. He’s done my crown molding and title backsplash in my kitchen, and some drywall repair in my living space. I’m always more than pleased with his work.

The best! Ben does it all! I hired him for painting, staining, powerwashing, ceiling fan install, screen repair, wall repair etc. Soon he will be doing some tile backsplash work for me. Great job top to bottom. Good prices. No compliants. He is my repair guy for life!

I was referred to Ben by a good friend that had several great interactions with him. I called Ben and received a call back a few days later. At that point we discussed what I needed done and said he would come that Saturday between certain hours. Ben was a no call no show. I reached out to him that following Monday and he said that he would come that same same day but did not give an explanation or apology for the no call no show. He did in fact come that afternoon and gave me an estimate and we agreed on a price. I asked him when he could start. He said he would check his schedule and call me back the next day. That was February 15th and he still hasn't called. This is poor business practice and customer service. If he didn't want the job all he had to do is say so but to completely dismiss a potential client was very rude and unprofessional. At this time I can not recommend this painter. He has proved himself unreliable and unprofessional.

*****Update: I have been contacted by the company and we are working towards a solution. I will update this review accordingly once a resolution had been reached. And thank you to the owner for providing a more reliable way to make contact.

*****Second Update: 2-25-2022
I have been in contact with Ben. We have reached a resolution and I am happy with the results. Ben and his assistant was kind, courteous and professional when at my home. They began working immediately and made sure to clean up behind themselves when done. The paint on my ceiling is flawless and unless you knew where the damage was you can't tell that anything ever happened. I would definitely recommend their services now.

Ben and crew did a very professional job of replacing rotted exterior wood, trim and siding. Cleaned up thoroughly after, good value for the money. Ben made some good suggestions to increase life of replaced wood and save money. Will definitely be using Ben for future work.

Benjamin did great work on my home. He has done dry wall, painting, pressure washing, and exterior repairs. All of the work he has done has been high quality. His pricing was fair for every service.

I hired Ben's Painting to repair two holes on the side of the facia of my house and the lower wood footing of two columns. They arrived on time, were very professional fixing it in one day and leaving no mess. I highly recommend them.
