Our house was done way before the predicted time frame. Jimbo was our Forman and was a pleasure to work with

Incredible customer service and communication through what can be a stressful life event at times. It's a beautiful house, the craftsmanship and attention to detail was very impressive. I would highly recommend!

Left msg with receptionist, no return call. Rep reached out with necessary information and good customer service.
Was pleasant and helpful and genuinely concerned about my home building needs. Definitely worth a call or visit. -
The gentleman we met with didn't seem like he had a clue, and when we questioned him about why, he said "frickin" on 4 different occasions. Very unprofessional. He was also sitting in the office with dip or chewing tobacco in his mouth, spitting in a can. Again unprofessional. It was nice that he took the time to meet with us after business hours. Hence 2 🌟 instead of one

We LOVE our new home built by Madison Homebuilders!!! Everything went soooo smooth and everyone we worked with went above and beyond the call of duty!!! Highly recommend!!
-
We had a great experience with the entire Madison team throughout our new home build!! They made the entire process so much easier than I could have ever imagined!
-
They handled every step of the home building process, from paperwork with the city to the final stages of construction, quickly and professionally. Made the entire experience a pleasure and the finished product is perfect.

Madison homebuilders was a pleasure to work with from start to finish. They kept us informed and involved every step of the way. I highly recommend them to anyone looking to build a great home.

I just closed on my beautiful home from Madison Homebuilders. The quality and communication was top notch and I've been referring everyone that's asked about my home. If you're looking for a team that cares and gets the job done professionally, Madison Homebuilder's the one!

If I could leave zero Stars I definitely would. This by far is the most unprofessional company I've ever experienced in my life. The person I was working with was Tim White. The house I wanted to have built was a great sale by Tim. I asked him for additional information in regards to the building of the home and he said he would follow up with me. I also asked them for some financial information to get my budget and he also stated he will follow up with me. However, after he came to my property and said it would be no problem having a home built all the issues aroae. The first issue was all communication stopped. We went up to the office on Clanton Road to discuss even farther and also pick out options we wanted in the home and not only was Tim rude and unprofessional, after that meeting he has been non-responsive. I even tried reaching out to his sales manager; who shruggred me off and also did not respond. I then tried reaching out to someone higher up by the name of Mike Boyce and left him several voice messages and to this day still have not received a call back.
My recommendation is never to do business with this company and if you're looking to have a home built please look elsewhere. I will try to get this message out to as many people as I can as I would like people to know not to waste your money on something as valuable as your home with a company that does not respect people or their time. Please feel free to reach out to me with any questions or concerns you may have in regards to this company. -
From selection to pre-construction to construction, I have nothing but great things to say about this company. My salesperson, Willie, was very easy to deal with. My construction manager Jimbo could not have made the process go any smoother. Absolutely a 5-star experience. I would recommend building a home with them to anyone. Thank you for our beautiful home!

I have known part of Madison executive team for decades. In short, “they’re good people”. In a unique building environment, which must navigate many moving parts as well as a turbulent material market, it’s good to do business with highly competent people that you can trust! Continued success to Mike and his team.

We had a great experience building with Madison Homebuilders. We were informed each step throughout the building process and worked with some great people. We definitely recommend considering them to build your next home.

Madison made the daunting task of having a new home built a pleasant one. They were there to answer questions, give advice and were willing to communicate with us when it was convenient. I couldn't say enough good things about our Madison experience.

Janice and Kevin at Madison are awesome and was there to answer all our questions. As far as Tim salesmen in the office and the contractors they use I would recommend possibly looking elsewhere. My wife and I were rushed at the office the day we were making selections and are somewhat not happy with some of the choices we picked. We literally had to pick all of our options within 30 minutes because Tim had to leave. After we left and got an idea of what all they had we wanted to make changes after sitting and talking and to make those changes we were charged a "change order" fee. As for the contractors, they did jobs half way, seen a few drinking alcohol on the property (yes we have pictures), door knobs on double doors are lopsided, shower door is leaking and only been moved in since June 2019. If dealing with Madison Home Builders only meant dealing with Kevin and Janice I would recommend it but stay away from their sales folks.

All in all it was a good experience with Madison Home Builders. The biggest benefit is not having to have any moneh upfront and not having to pay closing cost. They build on your land and you don’t have a payment until two months after you close. If you are in law enforcement, firefighting, or the healthcare field they give you Hometown Hero benefits. The only thing I can say that I wish could have been changed is when you first go in and pick out your house plan and how you want things done, if you don’t know to ask every little question then you might get half way in to building your home and want to change something and not be able to. For instance I picked to have a wooden porch instead of concrete. The picture of the concrete porch had brick underneath it so I assumed my porch would have that under it as well. This was not the case and it was error on my part for not knowing but I also feel like the salespersons error for not making sure I knew that. Also I had credits coming through as my house was being built that I found out I could use to put flooring in, which was great, but I had to ask Madison if I had any credits for them to tell me and then tell them to add the flooring. With all of that being said I’m happy about my house and all of the employees were super nice.

Building with Madison Homes was a great experience. Jeff, Bill, and Janice and other staff were always prompt and professional every time I reached out to them with any questions or concerns. My wife and I couldn’t be happier with our new home.

It was a great experience building our home with Madison Homebuilders. They took a lot of stress away and kept us informed through the entire process. They have been quick to respond after we closed to guide us with warranty's and such. We had the best of the best as far as Construction Supervisors go, his name is Jimbo! We would reccomend MHB to everyone we know.

My husband and I can't say enough good things about Madison! The entire process was easy. We heard so many nightmares of building and we were nervous for stressful experience - but we can honestly say the building process was easy and enjoyable. We would not hesitate to send anyone to Madison. We have nothing negative to say! We love our modified Ryan!

They work with Veterans! We haven't used Madison Homebuilders yet, we're still interviewing builders, but we just spoke with one of the team (Jeff) today and that man is one of the kindest men I've spoken with so far. He's kind, straight to the point, tells you how it is, cares about you, your home, your finances, etc. Some of the builders I've spoken with (especially modular home builders) have been super dismissive or uninterested in our questions or concerns. Not Jeff :) He seems to care and seems very motivated to help us (even if we don't end up using him)! Seems like a very trustworthy, southern, gentleman. I hope we end up going this route, just to get to continue working with someone like him.

We used Madison Homebuilders to build our home in 2012. The building process was longer than expected and timelines were continously unmet. Within the first few days of moving in we noticed our home was not equipped for cable services. After calling Madison, we were told that WE requested phone jacks and cable outlets not be installed or that more than one outlet be placed in each room. This was 2012, so the "no cable movement" hadn't evolved quite yet. Out of pocket we paid for additional outlets as well as cable outlets. We had an issue with our septic tank and when Madison was contacted we were told it would not be covered because we used a person not affliated with Madison to install our septic tank. Septic tank guy comes back to inform us that it was not an issue with the septic tank but rather an improperly installed line by the plumbers that were associated with Madison. Madison Homebuilders did fix this situation. Our next issue was the heating and air system, this has been and continues to be a huge issue since we moved in. Madison Homebuilders incorrectly wired our A/C and heating system to where we would have to go to the basement to adjust the heating/air on the other floors in our home. They supposedly corrected the problem, sending someone to correctly wire the systems. All seemed well for a few months but multiple people, unrelated to Madison Homebuilders have come to fix various heating/air issues. I have addressed this with Madison but no one else was sent. I am just now writing this long review because we were recently told in order to correct the current issue we have with our heating/air systems we will need to remove our entire basement ceiling. Other issues from carpeting, electrical issues, plumbing issues, and constant a/c and heating issue have occurred over the last eight years. Kitchen floor is cheap and countertops are separating from the wall. I could go on and on about the issues with have had with Madison Homebuilders. This post only list a small number of things on a long list of complaints. Hopefully, those who have recently built with Madison Homebuilders will have better luck.
