I have very very high expectations when it comes to service and maintenance work. Damian and his assistant, Adam of A1 Garage, far exceeded my expectations. They arrived on time and quickly determined what the problem was. Then they provided me with all my possible options to resolve my problem. I had questions galore, but Damian patiently explained everything so that I was able to make an intelligent decision. There was no pressure. I would not hesitate to call A1 Garage for future garage issues. They also made sure they left my garage better than they found it. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Edward M did a great job reviewing the garage door details, and gathering the technical details for an install. I expressed my starting design preferences to Edward. We then entered the quotation phase by phone. The manager making the quote seemed completely disconnected, or completely ignored, my design preferences. The multitude of options, with pricing, was confusing. Under the circumstances, I needed more time to consider the options, and had to decline a decision. No doubt the door presented is a quality door, but not at my price point.

Jason was very knowledgeable easy to talk with explained everything that I asked about. He explained how the Worry Free Club with further explanation on what was needed to be done and the best part was that he had all the parts and pieces with him in his and then proceeded to complete the job with tremendous diligence. I would recommend him personally and his workmanship is outstanding Too bad there are only five stars to rate he should be a 10 star candidate

This was my second time dealing with James From A1 garage, and it's like groundhog hog day with this guy. He calls before he arrives ( being far to kind, even offered to bring me coffee). Then he gets here gets the job done, and its like your HS buddy just dropped by to lend a hand. Great service professional but with a real human touch making sure you understand what the issue was and what they had to do to resolve it! A1 GARAGE///// IS A -1 in my book.

Had a great experience with Damien, he arrived on time and did a great job explaining everything. He broke it down explaining how each part worked and answered all of our questions. We needed quite a bit of work done but he took it in stride and still finished at a decent time. Highly recommend!

The tech - Jason - was great. The offer & pricing to replace my springs were way high and played the same contractor games. Good/better/best options are fine for some things, but coupled with high prices had me saying no. I had a competitive bid and they tried to improve their offer. Cutting the number in half still didn’t come close.
My ‘check up’ report was completely “yellow (needs attention)”, yet the Overhead Door guy I went with said everything was fine. Yes, it’s been working a while, but it’s running smooth as silk. Huh.
I know who’s card & contact I’ll be pinning to the garage door.

UPDATE: February, 2026. once again, A1 came through when the controller stopped working properly. Adam came out, showed us what the issue was and made repairs. Since this was our second unscheduled service need, we had him take measurements so the office could quote us a new door and controller. We were presented many different price options, and in the end, we customized one of their packages to our needs. The price was reasonable for the quality of door and controller we selected. They also credited us for the lifetime springs that were installed with the previous homeowner, and the latest service call. Customer service from the technician (Adam), the dispatcher, the contracts guy all TOP NOTCH! Cannot go wrong with this company! Highly recommend! Will post another update once the door is installed.

January, 2026
We closed on a new (to us) home and we’re ready to leave when our garage door went off track and wouldn’t close at 6:00pm. We called A1 as there was a sticker by the opener that showed they previously had worked on this. The dispatcher assured us that we could get service that night within a couple hours. Jason came out, recognized the house, and saw the damaged hinge immediately. He had all the needed parts on his vehicle and had the repairs done within an hour. He spent time reviewing with us the lifetime springs he had installed for the previous owner, and offered us a yearly service for maintenance. He was very professional and personable. Our first experience with A1 was a great one, especially for an emergency call. Would definitely put this one in the KEEP file!

A1 Garage Door services replaced my broken system and this was done by their technician Benedict Smith. Mr. Smith was very professional, courteous and willing to explain the details very patiently. Benedict did a phenomenal job during the whole project. He used his expertise to keep me educated on what objectively makes the most sense while presenting the pros and cons to all options. He was patient and took his time to make sure the job was done correctly with the best products.

I really appreciated how Craig talked me through each step of the of everything he did and all that was wrong with my door. I am very pleased with the job he has provided for me today and I will be happy to share this company's name with all I know that need your services.

The technician was very polite and did good job in general, except one thing that he didn’t balance the garage door weight properly with the overhead springs, that lead to overload the garage door opener, caused the opener to give up and stopped working in 2 months. Now I have to replace the garage door opener motor. The cables and the rollers were replaced perfectly well.

Adam came out to service my garage and when I opened the door, he greeted me with a coffee in hand, such a sweet and thoughtful gesture. After determining that my garage door couldn’t be repaired and I would need a new one. I told him my budget and what I could afford he spoke with the sales representative and found an option that fit within my price range. He truly listened understood my situation, and came up with a solution that works for me. He even help me move a few things around in my garage to get everything ready for installation.
