Damien arrived on a Sunday evening and had my poorly maintained and broken 21-year-old garage door fixed and working like new in just a few hours. He was neat and organized and explained everything. I’m very happy with the service and my now quiet and perfectly functioning garage door.

Our technician Edward was super nice and professional. Very personable and a gentleman who offered to bring me a cup of coffee while he was getting some for himself although I declined. I usually offer coffee or water to anyone that visits my home. I must say that I was quite disappointed in the amount the service cost and that only covered a fraction of the repairs our garage door needs.

I had a great experience with A1 Garage Door Service.They replaced my garage door opener quickly and did a really solid job. The technician, Damian, arrived on time, explained everything clearly, and made sure the new opener was working perfectly before leaving. The whole process was smooth, professional, and reasonably priced. Highly recommend them for any garage door service!

Benedict did an absolute great job! Explained everything in detail and worked with us on fixing all of the issues and found other solutions to our problems. Re worked the existing opening to work properly and replaced numerous other parts. Highly recommend him as a tech for all garage door needs.

Zack Jones was incredibly knowledgeable and the customer service was amazing. Zack took his time explaining every little detail to us and was patient with all our questions. I really liked how when it was time to go over packages and pricing it was explained to us in such a detailed way that gave us a peace to think about. It felt great to not have a company push and pressure us but to be understanding and respecting us needing a few days to think about what we would like A1 to do. I would highly recommend considering them to come out and discuss your garage doors.

The technician was very good, and he was the best part of my experience with A1. Unfortunately, when we determined that I would need a new garage door, that's when things went south very quickly.
A1 relies on pressure sales tactics to get you to buy from them on the spot immediately before their techs can leave your premises. Why? Because they charge exorbitant prices with high profit margins. They know that if you shop around, you'll find better pricing from local vendors. They capitalize on being at your home and getting you to agree with one of their plans.
Don't do it.
I went with DC Doors here locally, and I'm so glad I did.
Take a look at their reviews that mention their $29 multi-point inspection (I was charged $60 for the tech to spend 13 seconds identifying that my door was beyond repair) , and you'll see that this company is a hardcore scam operation.
Buyer beware.

I have never had my garage door serviced. Damian made great recommendations. Garage door is 35 years old. Replaced the rollers, cables and put a new rubber pad on. He then adjusted everything. My garage is much quieter.

I just had my garage doors tune-up. My guy was Henry Hauk OMG what a professional mild manner young man , knowledgeable
& courteous & must I say handsome. I truly recommend this company for your garage tune-up.

Third experience: Drew showed up right on time and replaced my garage door and tracks. He was thorough and detail oriented, correcting the pitch of the horizontal portion of the track, installing weather seals around the door, and installing the weather strip at the bottom, where he corrected for small variations in the concrete floor. It looks so good, and what phenomenal work! Thank you for all you do!

Second experience: my garage door was destroyed by a truck in the wrong gear. A1 immediately responded with a tech to assess damage & measure for replacement. He got his boss on the line to negotiate a contract, collect a deposit & schedule work within 3 business days. They were incredibly helpful and very reasonable. What an excellent customer-oriented business!

First experience, about a month earlier: scheduling and communication with A1 Garage Door Service went very well. Their admin was courteous, caring, and set up an appointment in the same week. They sent a picture and bio of their technician in advance, confirmed the appointment, and kept me informed of his arrival window. Their tech did an in-depth inspection, provided solid, common sense advice on what should be fixed or replaced on my aging, non-working system. He identified parts that were aging, fully functional but could still be used. This was handled in a professional, educational way, not pushing sales. He had what he needed on the truck, replaced parts and completed service. He left me impressed with his thoroughness & competence, and with a smoothly operating garage door system. I couldn't be happier, and recommend this company highly!

Damian and A1Garage. First the company. I had a serious garage emergency, where it will not open, manual or electronically. They got a tech there by noon. Damian Gonzalez arrives at noon. He Analyzed the problem and identified the issues with our garage. He explained in detail and made sure I understood what was being explained. Damian was well trained for recognizing my problem. He gave me my options for the cost for the repairs. I new what my cost would be prior for him starting the work. I as the customer appreciates that, no surprises. Overall my satisfaction with the company and especially with Damian Gonzalez work, was something these days does not happen.

If only all technicians, repairmen, and contractors were as professional as Drew! From start to finish, the entire process was to notch! When my previous opener stopped functioning, I was uncertain about where to turn for help. A1 pooped up and the reviews looked good so I decided to give them a call. I’m happy I did. Jason provided outstanding service by promptly identifying the issue and installing the necessary parts during his initial visit. I greatly appreciated his fairness in presenting cost-effective options that worked within my budget, as well as his efficiency in completing the repair without requiring multiple appointments. The attention to detail, professionalism, and ability to resolve the problem on the first attempt exemplify the highest standard of customer service. I would not hesitate to recommend A1 and will certainly rely on them for any future needs.

Valpack users be aware! The coupon that shows a 29.99 tune up special is not the price they will charge you for service. There is also a, legally shown in small text but intentionally obscured and hidden, 60 dollar fee to come to your house to provide the service.

The representatives who did come to my home were also incredibly abrasive, dismissive and rude. Told me it was a waste of my money to do a tune up as my door was so old it should just be replaced. I did not ask for any information on it but their repeated pushy attempts at me to replace were only stopped when I had become openly agitated. They then called their boss as a scare tactic to attempt to have me replace the door. The boss did not sound remotely invested either way.

Also, I made my appointment via their online chat bot service where I told information there was important to the inspection that was not logged or able to be referenced by the employee. I had taken screenshots of the chat fearing that this would happen and was sadly proven correct.

Would recommend any other service other than this rude and clearly predatory business and their practice. They sprayed a lube on a few gears and then spent the rest of their time switching between upselling me or shaming me assuming I would be unprepared.

Happy to provide more information for those invested but overall I could not recommend this company less.
