We had 5 estimates for a difficult removal of a Willow Oak that had reached the end of its life. BroadLeaf came in with both the lowest estimate and a solid plan outlined of how to do the job. The tree was at the corner of the lot with neighbors' sheds and fences just below. Complicating things, there was another Oak just a few feet away—making a crane impossible to use. They used lines strung from both trees to manage the branch removal with one team member spending the better part of two days in the branches. They took care to preserve the health of the second Oak by treating it with care while trimming dead branches, using a bucket lift, and not using tree spikes while climbing on it.

Broadleaf's team worked with the utmost professionalism. They kept us informed at every step. There were no mishaps, no oops, no errors. Each branch came down in a controlled fashion and was carted off without any fuss. They did the job to our exact specifications and cleaned up the site when finished. I cannot recommend them too highly.

We contacted BroadLeaf Tree and Shrub about removing two holly trees that were growing too close to our house and about cleaning up the trees in our backyard. Blake came out within the week and was very knowledgeable about which trees to remove to improve the health and future of the oldest trees on our lot. We got a quote over email, and within a week (again), these guys came out to do business!

They removed two hollies, four cedars, an oak, and two huge limbs from another tree that was almost entirely in our neighbor's yard in less than a day. The team took care to keep our neighbors yard clear of debris, and when they finished, they cleaned everything up.

The difference in our yard is huge. We get so much more light, and our deck feels way more open. I'm also less worried about branches breaking in the wind. I will absolutely work this company again.

I had 2 large pines and a magnolia that needed multiple (very high) branches pruned. I called 5 different companies for quotes, and Broadleaf's estimate and expertise was the best around. Blake and his crew were professional, responsive, and cleaned up after themselves as if they were never there! They had to reschedule once due to their chipper being broken, but communicated with me and came back out a few days later once the machine was back up and running. Highly recommend.

I have over 30 years in the Landscape business and knew what I needed done to several large Oaks, ten very mature Crepes, some Star Magnolias a River Birch and several other very mature trees and shrubs. I contacted several Arborists and Tree services in late Spring last year to schedule work in the mid-winter when the trees would be dormant. Three companies responded with good plans and were amenable to schedule for December. Blake kept in touch, gave the best plan, and was more than competitive with his estimate. After I added more to the job he committed more equipment and men to the job and actually gave me a discount on the added service. They arrived on time with excellent equipment and performed the work with military precision. All of his men were very skilled in the task at hand and attended the to most minute detail. Clean up was immaculate (and I am picky) and I was really surprised they were able to complete the entire job in just one day.
These men are the Gold Standard for Arborist work in this area.

We had a huge old oak go down from the ice storm in early January. It demolished our fence and part of our neighbor’s house, not to mention our patio and many of the items on it. My neighbor had experience with BroadLeaf Tree and Shrub and suggested we contact them. Blake Mills came out right away and prioritized removing the tree from both of our properties. His quote was reasonable and immediately accepted by our home insurance company. His crew was polite and professional and the work was done in a single day. He also was able to provide a resource to grind the stump, which weighed many thousands of pounds. At every point in the process he was responsive and completely reliable. Great experience from start to finish including removal of fallen tree, pruning, and taking a few small trees down. Came out to walk through everything with me to come up with a plan that made sense for us. Provided prompt estimate. Work then performed exactly as had been discussed. Really appreciated their expertise and then the follow through was great. Will definitely use again in the future.

Blake and his team have done multiple jobs for me, including felling a humongous 100+ ft oak hanging over my house, without a single complaint. These guys are fast, safe, and competitively priced. I'd recommend them to anyone.

I worked with BroadLeaf for residential tree evaluation, trimming, and replacement. They were responsive, reasonably priced, pleasant to work with, and really know their stuff! I had to navigate extra bureaucratic red tape on my end, and they were patient and helpful. I really appreciate their help getting the job done right. They contract out for stump grinding, but that was a smooth process, as well.

Broadleaf removed two unsightly trees from our front yard. The work was done on the scheduled day as planned. It was done efficiently. The lawn - and the road - were cleaned up completely. The price was reasonable and included having stump removal done by a different company. We certainly recommend Broadleaf Tree and Shrub and will retain it again as needed!

These guys were awesome! I had a huge tree limb fall on a car. They were out in a few hours for a Quote and then was able to get the team out there later that day to assist. They cut everything needed and cleaned up all the leaves and debris. Extremely nice team and very skilled. The team recommended pulling the entire tree due to rot. We weren't prepared to let the tree go and its looked mostly ok from the outside. They honored our request but cutting some limbs down. After cutting some limbs you can tell this tree will eventually rot. In hindsight probably should have gone with their professional recommendation. I called another company before calling this business and they said they would call me back and never did. This business is reliable, friendly, reasonably cost and just great service. Thank you!!
