I just received my order and it was a really great experience from start to finish. We moved into our house in December and came to find that one of the wooden vent covers (not from this company) was falling apart. I wasn’t around when the floors were originally done so searched Google for a replacement expecting not to find a perfect match but hoping to at least just cover the gaping hole so my kids wouldn’t stick stuff down it! I found American Wood Vents and entered the specs into the website - I did something incorrectly which they immediately caught and called me to fix/clarify. Quality is excellent and it took just a few weeks to arrive. I didn’t know the stain color but I took my best guess based on the paint cans the previous owners of our home left behind and it’s almost a perfect match. American Wood Vents offered for me to send a sample of the previous vent for a perfect color match but I’m really happy with how close it is so will just keep as is. Thanks for a great experience. Highly recommend.

We just finished a renovation on our 1938 home. We bought custom vent covers in 2023 for the downstairs and loved them. We just bought three more for the upstairs and are super happy with them, as well. American Wood Vents has the best customer service. Gil was prompt and helpful. We are now recommending American Wood Vents to our friends who are renovating their house. I have posted before and after pictures.

We recently remodeled our home. One of the final hurdles to completing the project was the search for the perfect vent. We knew it needed to be custom-made but did not know where to start. The team at America Wood Vents made the process so easy. Gil was available to answer all of our questions and patiently walked us through getting the perfect measurement. The vent arrived quickly and was well protected in wrapping. The fit is perfect! We are delighted with our experience and the final product.

Absolutely horrible company!! Ordered a replacement wood vent for my home and was charged. Order never arrived; however, when I contacted them to ask for a status update, I was told it was delivered already. Photos they sent of the delivery clearly showed it was not delivered to my house. When I asked for a replacement or refund, I was told this was not their problem and they would not be issuing a refund or replacement. Directed me to their shipper; however, THEY hired the shipper, not me. Bottom line, I have disputed with my credit card company and they can handle it. I would never choose this company for anything, and others should steer clear.

We had a great experience with American Wood Vents. We needed an existing custom floor vent (not made by them) recreated after being damaged. I sent them the broken one and they were able to recreate it to be a perfect fit and match to the surrounding floor. The response time was quick and the price reasonable.

After submitting my order request on the website and communicating via email, it was very helpful to call them and talk through the project in person. They took time to answer all my questions so I felt confident placing the order.

Very happy with our custom vents! Before our hvac company provided these not too ideal floor vents. Wanted something a bit more appealing yet practical! The color worked great, it felt sturdy, and hides the duct work better. My order was a bit unique so took a couple more weeks to complete which is understandable. I appreciate the transparency whenever I called to check on the status. Thank you!
