They chopped a beautiful tree down that has stood on my property for 20 years. They have never had to do that before, they use to only cut around the wire but the supervisor said that they have people come check their work now, another mark of a bad company.

They're doing work probably for Wake county.T trimmed a tree that is between mine &m neighbor's yard. Thank goodness I came home because besides a big messomess branches, theycthey have killed my rose bush as 1 large branch was on top of it. I know this work has to be done but damn it clean up after yourself, immediately, not 2 days 2 weeks whatever it's going to be!!!

Truck was driving in an extremely unsafe and incourteous fashion, but the cones were blocking the number to call to report unsafe driving. So to Google it is!

If a rating below zero were possible, this is what I would give Asplundh. They were contracted by Duke Energy to prune trees that were near power lines. They didn’t prune, they butchered the trees in our backyard and left everything on the ground. What a disgrace, the poor trees will unlikely survive a few years. If possible, avoid and run away from Asplundh.

This company is horrible. They will damage your property and deny they did it. I suggest you film them doing everything so when they cause damage you have proof. I own a business and this company came to trim trees on behalf of Duke Power. They just showed up and started working last Thursday., and continued on Friday. They hit a retaining wall and actually pushed it a few inches. It will cost me a lot to get it repaired. I called the crew supervisor and he asked if I had any cameras. Translation: you can't prove we did it. He was nice enough but was full of excuses. NO ONE else was there and we were not even open for business on Friday So they were the ONLY ones there. There was no damage when we left Thursday and when my landscaper came by on Saturday he saw the damge they had done. It is a shame that they can just come on your property, like it or not, do damage and then deny that they did it. They are dishonest, careless and untrustworthy. If I could give them a negative one star I would.

Joshua and his crew are very knowledgeable about trees, professional and kind. We are a non profit community garden and arboretum in a residential neighborhood in Hillsborough. Joshua talked with me about the procedures and carefully managed his crew and equipment around our pathwork, plantings, and structures. Grateful to have this Superb team in our diverse and flourishing neighborhood. Vanessa

I only gave 1 star because you have to. They are a poor excuse for tree trimmers. Fortunately I remember when they were. They come tear up,butcher and leave a mess. Supervisor sits in truck on phone. Duke energy needs to step up and be held accountable. If you see em coming stay and video!!!

They came from Duke energy to trim tree's for power lines. They cut down several tree's around my property, and proceeded to leave all the logs and branches scattered throughout the yard. They never said anything to me personally concerning the mess or what exactly their plan of execution was. They also haven't returned after several weeks of the job completion. Very poor representation of their company!

They have been cutting down 4 trees in my fenced backyard. They are contracted through Duke. They were all amazing. My fault, I let my 3 dogs out, they immediately shut down. Anytime after that, I waved my arms to let them know my dogs wanted out, they immediately shut down. Amazing group of workers. Hope I got the correct group, they wete in rocky poiny

This company works with Duke energy and is horrible. They show up on any part of your property that has power lines and will demolish anything in their way. They do not let you know they are there and will drive over your septic system if not stopped. Trees aren't just trims, they are maimed and destroyed. If I could keep them from ever coming near my property, I would. There's no chance in hell I would ever purposely call them.

Contracted through Duke Energy to trim back (literally specified minor trimming in the notification we received ahead of time) branches on an oak tree under power lines. Even after I spoke with them ahead of time, they chopped the tree in half and cut off all of the large branches. Furthermore they cut down birds nests and branches that were nowhere near the power lines and left debris in our yard for us to clean. I called them to report this and they sent someone out who spoke with my husband who apologized and admitted that they did a poor job and were not supposed to cut this much (our city specifies not to trim oak trees in the manner that they did). If you see that your trees are supposed to be trimmed by these folks, stay there and watch them like a hawk. Since this was contracted through Duke, I called them to report this as well, but ultimately no accountability with this and honestly not a whole lot they can do after they butchered our formerly beautiful tree. Sad.

The worst. I wish Duke Energy would stop contracting with them. When they came to trim trees along the street at our old house they cut limbs with Halloween decorations on them. Just let it all crash to the ground. Had they left a note the day before I could have removed them. Worse yet, I was home at the time and they could have come to the door to ask me to take them and my other decorations down. Also broke the solar light at the top of my driveway.

They are back at it again, this time at our new house. The power lines here run behind the houses and when I looked out, they were just letting everything fall on my new split rail fence! They then proceeded to just pull at everything stuck in the wire, not taking any precautions to not bend anything. And the one of the guys even stood ON TOP OF MY FENCE rail to pull some cut branches down and there was a bucket truck sitting right beside him. I was sure to take photos/videos while this was all going on in case anything should be damaged. I shudder to think of what they will do when they come back to take down the large tree they marked on the side of our property.

Also, I can only assume they are paid hourly because they showed up on our street well before lunch and only just started in with the bucket truck about 3pm. The rest of the time they just sat in the trucks.

12/28/23 you guys just did the best job cutting back the limbs and hangover (for Duke energy) in right of way at 6444 Burlington Rd and it is the absolute BEST job any company has done there in the 22 years I've lived here! I am so thrilled and thankful those pines on the line aren't gonna snap and take out the transformer this year, like it usually happens every winter. I'm still smiling about how good it looks.

They came yesterday to cut back the hedges under power lines. They did a subpar job of cutting back the hedges. Drove through my yard and left gaping holes since the ground was wet. Disrupted a meeting with the woodchipper. Based on the reviews this is apparently standard operating procedure. It would be great if they could pretend to be thoughtful or considerate.

Their workers were cutting along my property and dropped countless trees and limbs on my electric fence, which was marked very clearly as a high-voltage livestock fence. Five calls to five different supervisors, including Sophia Spinelli and five voicemails left. Not one single person ever called me back. Typical poor leader ship is just as bad as their workers work ethic.

Asplundh came out and cut down a tree in my front yard, they got up the limbs and said a truck would come get the logs but when I got back from vacation 2 weeks later the pile of logs are still here. I have called every number I can find which are only prompts to let me know I have to email them. ABSOLUTELY NO customer service!!!! This tree was cut Nov 12th, today is Nov 26th

Greenwood Tree Services did an amazing job cutting a few of our larger and smaller trees around the house. The job wasn’t easy because it was all near the house and fence, but they were very careful and mindful. Very good quality work, great communication and cleanliness after they’re done. We’ll definitely want to work with them again in the future.

Israel was recommended to us by a friend who had been using his services for years and spoke highly of his work. He certainly lived up to those expectations. He did a fantastic job trimming a large oak tree in our wooded backyard whose branches had grown out of control and were infringing on our deck.

Due to his excellent work, we hired him again to trim another large oak tree in our front yard. Both jobs required a different set of skills, as one of the trees required climbing at least 60 feet off the ground.

Israel and his team were professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. In addition, his pricing was very competitive, especially given the quality and professionalism of the work.

We highly recommend Greenwood Tree Services.
