Same day estimate. Cut down a tree leaning over a fence in my backyard, very quick job, 2 hours and they were done. Cleaned up afterwards. Reasonable price.

We had a Bradford pear tree split one morning. Called four other companies before Mel’s. The ones that returned my call said it would be at least a week before coming out for an estimate. Mel was here in less than an hour. He came with helpers a few days later. They had the rest of the tree down and cleaned up in less than 2 hours. They did an excellent job and were very professional. The price was reasonable. I am very pleased with the job they did.

Mel was very responsive to text and calls. He was very quick to come out and give me a quote, and was able to come back the next week. His crew did a wonderful job trimming back the trees around my home. I highly recommend him to anyone needing tree work!

I have used a number of tree services but none more efficient or prompt than Mel's Tree Service. They gave me a great quote on removing two trees, showed up on time, worked extremely efficiently, and cleaned up nicely afterwards--all in one-half day. Excellent service. I highly recommend.

Mel and his crew did a great job taking down a large sweetgum tree in our front yard. They are professionals, as they carefully sawed each limb and dropped them on the ground like "threading a needle"! A very thorough cleanup followed -all at a reasonable price. I would highly recommend them!

I had an older tree with a forked base that was diagnosed with beetles and was decaying and a risk to both me and my neighbors homes if it fell due to wind or ice. It was an estimated seven stories high. Mel quoted fairly as he has done several homes in the neighborhood already . He and his crew are amazing to watch — unbelievable planning!? Also , the entire crew is very organized and thoroughly cleaned up everything afterwards. straight 10/10 would highly recommend!

Mel’s Tree Service did an excellent job removing my dead tree quickly and with care of the surrounding fence and house.

I actually had to call Mel’s the same morning I had another tree service cancel on me 45 mins before they were rescheduled to come out. Thankfully Mel’s Tree service was able to come that same day and remove the dead, dangerous tree! Thank you Mel’s for your quick response and follow through, as well as leaving the area clean and ready for a new tree!

June 2024- Mel and his crew did an amazing job! They were recommended by family and did not disappoint! They were done quickly and have very reasonable rates. We had a large limb removed, 2 maple trees trimmed, several boxwoods pulled out and 2 crepe myrtles cut down. It looks great!

August 2024- Unfortunately, we had 2 large trees fall in tropical storm Debby at our other property. We called Mel again, and he and his crew started to work on removing the trees and debris the following day. Again, we were very satisfied with their work and pricing. Another job deserving of 5 stars!

Mel's Tree Service did a great job removing a sizable problematic maple in a tight spot. They were at work and even finished less that 24 hours after I first contacted them. Cleanup was great and the price was very reasonable. Much appreciated!

I had a tree needing removed from my tight backyard. It was wedged between two houses, a set of power lines, and a garage. Mel’s team did a fantastic job with the removal while respecting our property and that of our neighbors.

I wish I had more trees, I’d call them back in a heartbeat.

Had this pine tree fall over Saturday afternoon in some strong wind gusts. I did not realize Mel ran a 7 day operation so I waited to call Monday morning. In a few hours Mel was out to give me a quote and also got him to quote me on another smaller tree I was concerned about because of a cavity at the base of the tree. Mel told me he would have a crew out Tuesday (it was raining Monday or I think he would have had a crew out the same day). Around 9 Tuesday the crew showed up and by 10:30ish the crew was loading up job complete.

There are just as many ways to take down or trim a tree as there are people. Mel has the uncanny ability to adjust his service for your individual needs and price range within 5 minutes of talking with you. He has an orchestrated / seasoned crew of up to 10 loggers who also make sure that you get the service you want. When they get to work, it's safe and beautiful and fast and focussed effort. I would hire Mel's Tree Service just to watch them work!

Mel came promptly to give estimate and began immediately on the removal of 3 trees. They work FAST and efficiently. His pricing was very fair and they cleaned up so well the debris from the trees. His team is very friendly and did I say efficient!!!
I will call this company again with any future needs.
They also worked very carefully and safely around power lines and took on more needs around some fencing that had overgrowth on it .

Mel’s tree service was very professional, safe, clean, and efficient . We had 4 - 70 ft trees overhanging our home and Mel’s carved them out to be safe as well as healthy. Highly recommend and will use again in the future.
