Our furnace stopped working, and John Cochran came out to take a look. He quickly diagnosed the problem, explained everything clearly, and had it up and running in no time. He was professional, knowledgeable, and respectful of our home. I highly recommend Eanes if you need fast, reliable HVAC service!

NO STAR ... Pfafftown, NC.......I am extremely dissatisfied with the service, or rather, the lack thereof, I received from Eanes Heating Cooling Plumbing and Electrical. The entire experience, from the initial consultation to the technician's visit and subsequent customer support call, was frustrating and a complete waste of my time. I would not recommend this business to anyone.

Misleading Upfront Pricing 💰

I called on Wednesday, 10/8/25, specifically requesting an electrical diagnostic on my washer/dryer outlet to verify the voltage for the appliance manufacturer (LG). The consultant advised me not once but twice that the cost for the electrical diagnostic would be $89. I was also told I could use a $50 coupon from their website if any further work was needed.

The technician, "Chris," arrived on Sunday, 10/12/25 (after an initial reschedule from 10/11/25). Upon entering my laundry room, and without touching anything, he immediately advised me that I would need to pay an additional $200 for him to look at anything. He claimed the $89 I was quoted was "just for him to drive to my house." This is a completely unacceptable and dishonest explanation for a pre-quoted "electrical diagnostic" fee. I was given no logical explanation of what the $89 fee actually covered if not the diagnostic itself.

Failure to Provide Requested Information and Poor Customer Support 😠

After questioning the technician about the surprise $200 fee, I asked if he could at least document the current wattage of the outlet on the receipt so I could relay the essential voltage information to LG. He agreed to do so but failed to provide this information on the documentation I received.

I immediately called customer support and was transferred to a dispatcher named Kayla in High Point. She confirmed that Eanes sends electricians, and that they may determine a more detailed diagnostic is needed for $200. When I pressed her to explain what determines this detailed diagnostic and how it could be determined without the technician touching or testing the outlet, she offered no solution and instead became defensive, stating abruptly, "I will just call the technician to tell him he is not needed."

I never received the service I requested, I was subjected to bait-and-switch pricing, and the customer support was unhelpful and had an attitude. I paid $89 for a technician to drive to my house, tell me I needed to pay $200 more, and then leave without providing the simple diagnostic information I needed. I will be contacting their corporate office to report this gross mismanagement and waste of my time. Steer clear of this company.

One of the reasons I have decided to proceed with EANES was a demonstrated professionalism of technician/Keelan Taylor, who came to estimate the project.
Keelan explained me in great details of every option and gave me opportunity to carefully evaluate each..... I would say, EANES in face of Keelan, exceeded my expectation across all aspects of the work, quality,delivery,punctuality!
A price was bit higher than i expected, but it is understandable since EANES is a huge corporation.....
