Rick was extremely professional , courteous and respectful. I want to highlight respectful because other tree companies came on to my property and into my backyard without permission to "quote". Though Rick took the time to introduce himself, knocked on my door and asked for permission to walk into my backyard. He also worked quickly and efficiently at removing a fallen tree after the Hurricane Helene passed through. He went above and beyond at ensuring the work area was cleaned after he was finished and set correct expectations from the beginning about the tree stump potentially becoming upright and not being removed. This was something I was okay with and I much appreciated he pointed it out and explaining before getting started. On top of great service, he also gave me some insight about another tree in my yard which reassured me he was the right company to come out to my home. 10/10 recommend.

They were quick to respond and schedule a walk around for a quote. They listened to my requests and even offered to remove some leftover debris from a previous company's less than thorough work free of charge. The work was done well and affordably. I will absolutely keep them in mind for any future removal I need.

Rick has been nothing but put patient and willing to work with all kinds of hiccups, he is very polite and his team is great at what they do!

I needed to take down two trees that were going to be a problem for my septic system. I called to get a quote back in the beginning of June. He was able to get me quote same day. When he had openings, he would check and see if we were open for removing them early. I had to wait on it, but he was so patient and never pushed for them to be done on his time schedule.

I finally called in August to get them removed, and he was able to get a team out quickly to remove my two trees, no change in quote price, and they even cleaned up my driveway for me!

If I ever need any other tree work done, I know who I am calling right away.

Rick did such a fantastic job! He was prompt and did the job flawlessly. It was 100 degrees today and he (and his helper) cut down 2 Bradford Pear trees and cleaned up! I have nothing but respect for his work ethic and attention to detail. What a dude!!!

Rick was extraordinary! He was able to schedule my estimate and work right away. Rick is responsive and polite. He came and made quick work of the large bushes and crepe myrtles in front of my fence. One of the fence pickets that had been covered by the overgrowth needed replacing. Rick happened to have the exact piece I needed in his truck and left it for us! Fast, friendly, and affordable. I’d give 6/5 stars if I could!

We sadly had to say goodbye to a big oak tree on our property, as it had clearly become unhealthy and was dropping large limbs, to the point of becoming a safety hazard. I cannnot recommend Rick Lee and his team enough. This very large tree sat *right* beside our septic tank/field, and they did a fantastic job being super careful as they roped each section of the tree before cutting, allowing the pieces to come down as gently as possible. Lee’s Tree Services came highly recommended to us, and I definitely carry on the recommendation to anyone else in search of tree services.

10 stars!! I highly recommend Rick’s Tree Service. Rick came out for the initial consultation and followed up with an appointment. He removed a huge loaded Bradford pear next to the house with multiple limbs on the roof. He was very meticulous removing limbs and the tree to avoid any damage. Awesome job cleaning up all the debris. So happy I went with Rick, couldn’t be happier and I highly recommend him for any tree service!! Thanks again Rick, for all your hard work!!

Answered the phone personally. Same day response for quote and evaluation. Shared cost saving information honestly. Showed up promptly as promised. Removed tree surrounded by power lines efficiently and quickly without issue. Left perfectly cut logs as requested neatly stacked near the house.
Cleaned up area neat as a pin. Great attitude, knowledgeable and professional. 5 star 2.0

Cannot begin to thank Rick enough for everything he did! Called him the night the tree fell and he was at my house at 7:00am getting it taken down. Rick with Lees' Tree Service came out to give an estimate for cutting back branches which my husband and I thought were too close to the house. Instead we were advised that the maples had been cut back too much already, and that it would be detrimental to them to be cut any more.
In a world of so much deception, Rick's honesty was like a breath of fresh air !!!

Are you looking for a top-notch tree service? I've found one in Lee's Trees. The owner, Rick Lee, is prompt, reliable, courteous, professional and very skilled as an arborist. He removed a very tall shaggy bark hickory from my yard, which was no small job! I was most impressed by his dedication to my job, getting it completed in the time promised. Debris clean-up was impeccable and Rick was very careful to keep my garden plantings and outdoor furniture safe throughout the process. Thanks, Rick!

Amazing clean up job on our property!

We called Rick and he was out for an evaluation of what we were dealing with within two days and had a quote for us within 24 hours. The quote was very reasonable and they were able to come out within a few weeks to do the job!

Rick was very personable with us and answered all of our questions without making us feel like we were a bother.

10/10 recommend and will be using again in the future for any tree clean up and service needed!

Lee's Tree Services did a great job getting these raggedy rotten trees cut and removed! They were eye sores for sure and dropping not only sticks and small branches but entire heavy limbs! It was time for them to go!

THANKS AGAIN was shocked it was only a 1 man job! Shows you KNOW what you’re doing! Hopefully all the neighbors that kept interrupting you turn into paying customers!

Rick is very professional, communicates well, and keeps his word. He is punctual. His crew did a great job in a timely manner and cleaned up as promised. I will use Lee’s Tree Service again.

We initially hired Lee’s Trees to remove a massive, very old white oak that had died in our front yard. Given its proximity to power lines, the job was complex, and Rick and his team handled the canopy removal with care and professionalism. While the unpredictable North Carolina weather caused delays, we appreciated Rick’s communication and effort during the early phases of the project.

However, I’m updating this review nearly a year later because the job still remains unfinished. After finally dropping the last portion of the trunk—which had stood for months—Rick promised to return within two weeks to level the remaining stump to about 3 inches above ground. Instead, what remains is a large, unsightly stump over 2 feet tall. He also agreed to clean up another tree in the front yard as a courtesy for the extended delay, but that has not happened.

Despite multiple follow-ups via text and phone, we’ve received no response. Unfortunately, what began as a positive experience has become a long-standing source of frustration. The incomplete work has become an eyesore—not just for us, but for our neighbors, several of whom have asked who did the work. At this point, we cannot in good conscience recommend Lee’s Trees. The job was paid for, but not completed.

Prompt, efficient and friendly. Trees were removed fine HOWEVER I also paid for stump grinding and removal and that was NOT done. Lee left 2 huge mounds in the yard which I questioned because I said it was supposed to be flat and I w a red to plant grass. He said he could not take the mulch mixture to the dump and would come back; also that the shavings needed time to settle. I sent follow-up pictures and complaints and he said he would come back to handle. I had to pay another company to clear the piles (which looked like graves), and discovered the stump was not removed at all. I did not get the full service I paid for and he has stopped responding to my messages. The service was NOT completed as agreed to.

Fantastic experience!!

Rick and his team did a fabulous job removing a very old maple tree from my property.They were able to get it done very quickly and within a tight timeline.

Rick was gracious with his time, educated me on the signs of tree disease and provided options for tree removal. He and his team took the tree down quickly, were efficient, super clean and performed “complete” work. They also took the tree down far so the stump is barely noticeable.

Rick was flexible, easy to work with, and a nice guy- and the cost was very fair. I would highly recommend Rick and his team for any tree work!
