Great same day service. Everyone involved was very professional and did a great job. Tree was close to house where I wasn't comfortable doing myself, but the team at TarHeel landed the tree exactly where they planned in the most controlled way that I've ever seen. Will use them again in the future! Highly recommend.

Nick and his crew took care of some HUGE trees on my property. The experience was great, and the service was excellent. Nick is the only person that I will trust to take down a tree. He is an expert, and the guys worked hard to clear up everything before they left. I highly recommend them.

A few of my neighbors’ pine trees fell into my yard and Tarheel Tree Service did a great job of taking care of the problem. I called them Saturday, Nick came out and gave me a reasonable quote on Sunday, and then Nick and another worker came over Monday and got everything cleaned up. They did good work at a good price and were very professional.

I had a few trees removed and also some pruning done and Alan and his team were on time and did an amazing job. I would recommend them to anyone in the Triad area that wants great service with great prices.

The owner is very professional, honest and his price was the lowest of all the quotes I received but the quality of the work is exceptional and he used top of the line materials. His crew is also exceptional. I just can’t say enough about how pleased I am. Several of my neighbors are also impressed and intend to use Tar Heel Roofing. I had him to do an estimate on another property for me as well. A very satisfied customer I am.

From a prompt call back from Steve to see what my needs were...Nick stopped by to looked at the job and gave a fair, reasonable quote...They showed up when they said they would. Had this company come out a week or so ago to take down 2 huge trees, one of them dead. Its was a very dangerous and difficult job but they were awesome! They did what the could to protect our home and property even though their safety was our priority. The price they gave was more than fair. They did a wonderful job cleaning up and we will definitely use them again! James, Nick, and a third gentleman were professional and efficient. Thanks again guys!

I had Nick and his crew out yesterday for a much needed trim of some maples and pin oaks around the house. I have to say they did a fantastic job. From the cutting to the cleanup, the guys worked hard and with expertise. Dealing with the company was a pleasure. From Alan coming out to give a fair, manageable price. Working with Steve in the office to keep up with scheduling. Then Nick and his crew performing with a directed purpose. The whole experience was meant to give customer satisfaction, and it fulfilled that goal.

Alan, the business owner, came out to provide an estimate for removing a very large Oak tree in my backyard. He was knowledgeable, nice and professional. Alan spent quite a bit of time with me and really listened to my thoughts and concerns. I’ve had several quotes and his degree of professionalism really was quite impressive. We’re still trying to determine what is best and if removing is necessary. I’m not one to typically write reviews, but when you get exceptional service it’s to be commended!

I hired Tarheel Residential to take down a very dangerous tree. Their pricing was fair and they exceeded my expectations. From Alan the owner to the crew they came out and performed the work everyone was very professional, courteous, safe and the clean up was amazing! I would definitely hire them again and recommend them to anyone.

Had a very large maple tree taken out in our backyard, service was great! They were able to come out the next day. Yard was left clean and with no damage to other plants in the area!

They were able to get to our tree quickly and worked hard to save a very tricky old elm. They pruned it to a much more sustainable and healthy growth pattern. They carefully removed and replaced the surrounding foliage so it would not get damaged and cleaned up beautifully.

Hired Penny's Tree Service to remove several trees. They were very professional and did an excellent job of removing the trees and cleaned up all the tree trimmings. On a scale of 1 to 5 , I would give them a 5.

My roof was damaged during the storms we had in October, and my homeowner's insurance company approved replacing it. I contacted Alan Hill, owner of Tarheel Residential Roofing and Tree Service, as I had worked with him recently in the removal of several large trees, also damaged during the same storm. He reviewed the information provided by my insurance company, and invited me to his office to look at various shingles and discuss price for the job. He was able to have his crew on the job within a couple of days, and they did a great job removing the damaged roof and replacing it, both with the installation and cleanup. Alan's price was very reasonable and the work completed promptly. I would definitely recommend Tarheel Residential for both roofing and tree services.

Steve came and gave me an estimate on cutting 2 big limbs down that we’re hanging over my house, which I thought was quite reasonable. The guys came out and worked till after dark getting those limbs down and cleaning up. They even blew my driveway off of any wood shavings. They were very nice and very professional and did a great job! I will definitely recommend Tarheel Tree Service to my friends and family and will definitely use them again!

Alan at Penny’s Roofing and Tree Service was consistently in communication with us. He kept us informed of the progress of the project and took the time to spend time with my elderly parents and explain the process to them. I would recommend them to others.

Had a large maple tree removed in my backyard. They priced the best of all the people I called and they were very professional and polite when they came by for the free estimate. Communication was good although I would have like a little more time in advance to know when they were coming by (day in advance) but the work was done quickly and professionally. Took two days and they had to take down my fence but they put it back up. Highly recommended.

Allen was very helpful and informative when I called him to get a tree off my buildings. During a time when a lot of people in the Appalachia area are in dire need of his services he was very quick and timely taking care of the tree for me. I would highly recommend!
