Have used Action plumbing for emergencies and for standard problems. They respond promptly and have fixed every plumbing problem. They are very reliable.

Had a pipe break on a hose bib on Tuesday and called action plumbing first thing in the morning. They squeezed me in and by 11am Joe was at my house. I know it was a small job but but he did a great job, nice guy and the response was awesome!

We have a home in the Currituck Club. John and his team were on it when we had a sewer line back up. He kept us apprised of what needed to be done and got it finished in quick order so our renters were not inconvenienced at all. Highly recommend...very professional.

Danny was awesome! He didn't give up and made sure he did everything possible. Danny was able to clear my kitchen sink drain. He was courteous and on time. No complaints. 5 stars for sure....

1st time I had an emergency. It was a Sunday morning, the plumber stopped by, it worked out good timing. He took care of the issue ,second time they weren't sure if they could get me in. The plumber was finished with his work day on the way home and took my call . Replaced the other leaking pipe.

I can't recommend this team enough! We found a leak this spring after returning from out of state and turning the water back on. Called Action Plumbing, and Lynn was amazing in arranging a visit from Andrew, who diagnosed and fixed the leak same day. VERY appreciative of them and would recommend them to anyone looking for plumbing services in OBX.

Wow! From the time I spoke with Luke to the time Joe showed up to assess my badly leaking water heater was less than an hour. Joe did a great job explainingy options and within a few hours my new water heater was installed. Thanks so much for the excellent customer service.

Action Plumbing is the best plumbing service provider on the Outer Banks. First off, they get the basics right - they answer the phone, they call you back, they show up when they say they will and of course they do quality work. A+ for professionalism! But they are also a company that takes it to the next level by making helpful suggestions, really brainstorming with you on the best way to handle a tricky problem and taking aesthetics seriously. They are not a "get it done just to get it done and get out of there" company. And on a recent visit, they did 2-3 other small things just out of consideration that weren't even on my list like adding more support to a drain pipe they noticed and even tightening the door knob to my basement! John and his team are on my "go to" list for service providers in OBX.

Action Plumbing Services on the Outer Banks has been my first choice for plumbing needs for many years. Plumbing emergencies are never something we want to happen, but when it does, it is great to know who to call. Once again, it happened . . . a call to Action Plumbing, and a tech was at my home in a quick and responsive manner. The tech was friendly and professional in every way. After a quick repair of an obvious leak (after a freeze), it was apparent that there was another issue . . somewhere underground. It was decided that, after in the ground for 25 yrs, that the main waterline needed to be replaced. After getting the area flagged, a team of techs showed up . . again, all friendly and professional, and got right on the work to replace and re-plumb a new house connection. The work was done quickly and professionally by experienced and competent techs. The office staff kept me informed of the progress of getting site flagged and when the techs would be doing the work. Action did an excellent job installing shower accessories, installing a toilet and connecting the plumbing to a new double vanity when our master bath was remodeled. That led us to hiring them again when we remodeled a guest bath. They were excellent again.
