TOTALLY AWESOME SERVICE!! Had to repair 9 month old OTC Maytag microwave. Parts arrived a week earlier than expected. They had it done and in perfect working order in less than 45 minutes. Two VERY SHARP cookies - knew exactly what to do and how to do it. And they were CLEAN while working - they didn't leave a mess to clean up. Just couldn't believe their efficiency. Despite what others have said, I ABSOLUTELY WOULD RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO ANYONE IN NEED OF APPLIANCE REPAIR WORK. These guys were TERIFFIC!!!!!

Scheduled an appointment through Lowe’s for service in my dryer and was given an 8-12 time frame. When I one had called and showed after 12, I called Dougs and received a voicemail! Left 2 messages and After sitting here alllllll morning with 3 kids in Christmas break, l finally get a phone call saying the technician “I sick and won’t be able to make it”! Highly unprofessional company!

This company hafd me waiting all day and they never showed up or call that they were not going to make it to my home to fix my fridge. I made the appointment over a week ago and they told me that today was the only appointment that they had. This was a warranty appointment for my Frigidaire and they are the one's that have the contract with Doug's they need to contract with another company that has a better work ethic, because this company does not have one.
-
Frigidaire recommended this company to do a repair for my stove. They charged me $100 service call. Told me they needed to order a part to fix the problem. Didn’t hear back from them for 2 weeks. So I called and part was never ordered. Now going on 3 weeks and they won’t return their calls. Out $100 dollars for a company to come tell me what I already knew. Would not recommend. Save yourself the hassle and use another company that has some integrity.

Update: only response so far 1 week and 1 day of waiting has been the response about miscommunication.. still no call I've called left message the warranty folks called after me.. amazing how they returned their call but not mine.. they have my number and still no call. And am still waiting.
So warranty company had made a appt for them to come out. No call prior and no show. Informed warranty folks.
Professional folks call day prior and call when they are on their way they also show up for the appt. They have done none of these. I won't be doing business with them and hope the warranty company will not either.
Update: seems dougs said their backed up due to covid.
Interesting seems they are always backed up even prior to covid. Not a way to run a business never called never said were backed up and never once said it would take longer ..... checked bbb and a elderly couple never once heard from them either and it remained unresolved.
Still sticking I would never go to them. And wish the warranty would go another route as they are horrible zero contact left message no call back had appt didn't show nothing.. Interesting how they can call the warranty company back but can't call the customer.... again go elsewhere -
Don't even need to give 1 star. I rent an apartment through remax and have requested maintenance of a dishwasher several times... with the first initial maintenance request put in 10/5/22. One repairman came and placed an order on a part... almost 2 mths later the part still didnt fix the issue. A 2nd repairman came out... found that another part was needed, and stated the first part ordered wasnt the issue at all. Stated he was ordering the needed part, and it's been 3 mths later. Still haven't heard back. Have made several calls to Doug's and remax. According to remax, the problem is dougs just not coming out. Worse applicance company ever and very unprofessional! Do not recommend!!

Terrible customer service. I was assigned this company on a Wednesday for them to come on a Friday to cover my Lowes warranty. Friday at 2:00 when they had not showed up, I called and they said they could not come until Monday. I called Lowes back and they put me on hold to contact the company and confirmed that they could come on Monday. Monday when they still had not shown up, I called and they said they would be able to come maybe Tuesday or Wednesday. This was after they had confirmed with Lowes for Monday. Not a dependable company. Serious scheduling problems. If your warranty company assigns them, ask for someone else.

This was the service provider chosen by Maytag when I called with a problem. Their "appointments" are scheduled in 4 hour increments, So I'd been sitting here waiting 2 hours already (8-10). I decided to call to confirm they're coming because I'd read some reviews stating they have a habit of not coming or even calling. So I call and before he even knows my name, he says he's behind and won't make it until Monday or Tuesday... Gee, thanks for letting me know after I'd already been waiting for 2 hours... I would almost guarantee that they would have never called. They just wouldn't have shown up. So I told him to forget it. I've been without a washer for days and I can't wait any longer. Called someone else and they are already on their way... Not professional to just leave people waiting with no communication. I understand things happen but if you are DAYS behind, you should be calling everyone and letting them know!

Our refrigerator had quit cooling. We realized nothing was cool this past Sunday after dinner. Purchasing another refrigerator was not in our plans!
We had seen Doug’s truck in town ( Dillon) and jotted his number for future reference. So glad we did! We called and left him a voice message. He replied Monday AM. A plus!
Doug came today , (Tuesday) and got it going! Another plus!
Doug told us that his work was guaranteed for 30 days. And another plus!
We are so very impressed with Doug’s punctuality, professionalism, responsiveness to our call for help.
We recommend Doug’s appliance repair work to everybody who needs help.
Sincerely,
Gerald and Alícia Berry -
Excellent service. Bought a new fridge and it continued to freeze up and stop working. Doug's Appliance was right out to diagnose the issue and order the parts. Once the parts arrived he was right over to fix it. Very professional, timely, and neat. Very knowledgeable of his craft. Thank you for all your help.

I had an appointment in advance through Maytag. They never called me the day of the appointment. I called them because They didn’t show up and didn’t notify me about them not coming. (I missed worked that day) They said they were backed up and would call me later that day about 3pm-4pm. It happened 2-3 different times when I would call and try to reschedule the appointment. My washing machine has been down for going on 2 weeks now.

Used them back in January with my warranty company AHS, I have to say it was a nice experience, tech came out diagnosed the problem with my dishwasher, came back a week later when the part came
In and fixed it, so I thought, the tech tells me if you have any more issues give us a call. Well I wasn’t aware of the 30 window( warranty) I had to call them back or there would be a new work order that had to be put in. Hince the tech saying if you have anymore issues call
Us back, (never told me about the 30 days) because then they would be responsible for the warranty work themselves!!! So long story short my dishwasher was having the same issue, so I request that Doug’s come back out through AHS, which they did, AHS asked me what time did I prefer because they had 2 different time windows 8-12 or 12-4 , so naturally I chose the morning. So then I get a phone call from Ms Katrina , or whatever her name is , I know it starts with a K. This is where the issue starts!!! She ask me about the schedule which I told her I prefer mornings and AHS had already scheduled me for a morning appointment, a couple days later. She then tells me that AHS doesn’t do there schedule and the techs get there schedule the morning of, so here’s the thing if you know I’m a returning customer with the same issue?? How about making sure that you put me on the scheduled time that I’m requesting since I’m gonna be taking off work and you have 2/3 days to schedule it out. So needless to say the tech Calls me and says I will be there by 1-3 pm today. That doesn’t work for me I cancel and I tell him to just reschedule me for the following week. Don’t hear anything back from Ms K until the day before the follow up and guess what she hits me with? the same BS about the schedule. I say fine, calls me back this morning to tell me that the tech is out sick
(I’m guessing they only have 1 tech working) and that she would try to get me rescheduled as soon as possible!!! I cancel !!! TRUST ME STAY AWAY FROM DOUGS Appliance not worth the hassle!!! Ms K needs to learn some customer courtesy ethics or get some management training as well. Now hopefully you find this helpful since you guys claim to value customer feedback. Seems to me with looking at all the negative reviews you haven’t learn anything about doing business with the general public and that’s SAD!!! -
Contacted GE because the new dishwasher I purchased from Lowes was giving an error and not working. GE sent Doug's out to assess and do the repair if needed, at no cost to me. The first tech that came was able to get the dishwasher working with no repair but told me he had to list something to repair so that GE would pay them for the service call otherwise I would need to pay for the call. I explained to him that this was between Doug's and GE, not me. I was told a tech would come to investigate. He ordered a new latch, after telling me he was ordering a circuit board, and when the second tech came today it was installed. However, both were rude and dismissive. They were annoyed that I asked them to wear a mask in my home. And, the second tech manhandled my dishwasher door to the point of putting a dent in the front of it. The second tech also blamed the malfunction of the dishwasher on my cabinets not being level as well as the floor. I had no issue when I installed the dishwasher and the door closed fine for me. After he pushed the dishwasher back in place and left, the door to the washer wouldn't close - it was hitting the frame of the cabinets. He could have done what I did and use a level because when I checked his work, the unit was not level. I shouldn't have to go behind a professional and fix their work. But I would rather fix it myself than have them step in my home again.
I contacted GE who extended my warranty and then I contacted Doug's who offered nothing. The best the manager said he would do is "have a talk today." I do not recommend them at all. Two out of two employees that entered my home were the worst technicians I have ever had. -
Called Doug’s Appliance 1/4/23 as instructed by Frigidaire. I set up an appointment for 2/1/23 at 2:00 pm as I wasn’t in town previously, so I specifically set it up for that time only to call to confirm the day of and they LIE and say they have no knowledge of the appointment and can come out Friday. Flew all the way from California and ensured I got here on time and the company can’t hold up to their end of the bargain. If an appliance company gives you their number ask for another company. Do not use them to begin with. Good help and business is hard to find these days.

Scheduled service through world pool for my dryer. Over a week notice to when the service would be provided. Technician never showed up. After calling their phone number I was advised that schedules are only done the day prior and that they would call me for their next availability the day prior and I would takeoff work the whole day for them to show up.
I asked if I could schedule any day in the next few weeks and they advise me that they don’t do that.
I asked if I stayed at home the rest of today how late would it be for them to show up? They told me they weren’t even working in my area and that no one was going to be able to show up today.
I asked if they knew Nolan would be working in my area today why didn’t they call me the day prior? I was advised that it would take too long for them to go through other files and call all the people that they wouldn’t be able to get to every day .
Although the phone call was professional, it did not provide any assistance. I think the issue lies with the management and not the employees. With that said, if you can avoid this company, I would do so. If you go through the manufacturer for warranty assistance, request a different company. Good luck! -
One question: If ALL these reviews are the same, I wonder why these companies keep opting to use Doug's Appliance? Everyone here has the same issue. Can't get the appointment scheduled with Whirlpool, because Doug's only reviews their schedule the day before for the next day's appointments. I've now been trying to get BACK on the schedule for 3 weeks. They won't give me an advance appointment. I have ONE remote day so I ask them to call me the day before my one remote day (BECAUSE THEY ONLY SCHEDULE APPOINTMENTS BASED ON THE SCHEDULE THE DAY BEFORE) and they STILL can't get their stuff together. Whirlpool "says" they called them while I was on the phone with them and that they would be calling me that day (Tuesday) or the next. Never got a call. STILL haven't gotten a call. Doug's "fixed" our icemaker once only for it to start the same issue again within 2 days. I feel as though Whirlpool knows this service provider is terrible, but they want people's factory warranty to run out so they don't HAVE to do anything. Steer clear if you can help it. smh

Have a dryer that is under warranty. The heating element is getting to hot. Afraid to use it. Doug's was called by manufacturer. Set up an appointment. The technician never came during scheduled appointment time. Was told they were not coming and then the caller hung up on me. Still do not have a scheduled appointment to get me dryer checked.

Great job on my washer.
Tech was very good. -
I notice in today’s world many will put out a bad review; yet, I have to wonder do those not happy how often do they offer a good review. I too review on experiences. I usually call their boss and give praise, as many are not credited for the great works.
I had a warranty call and in less than 1 week I had a call and repair date. 😀 that was a good start.
Then they showed up on date and since I was available an earlier time 🙌. I was liking this company.
A part was needed and in a matter of days they returned ON TIME and ready to get her fixed.
“Dat” was my repairman a d he was GREAT in every way. Skilled, knowledgeable,
Explained everything with politeness, kindness, and patience.
Doug this tech is a keeper I hope Dat enjoys his job because he is the best tech I have had out for warranty repairs in the last 10 years.
Pay less attention to bad reviews…believe it or not complements are not just something we should tell tech. Word of mouth moves our world.
Thank you Doug’s Appliances for the GREAT SERVICE!!!!! -
Filed a warranty claim through the company and was referred to company was not advised they would call a day before hand to verify the appointment. Therefore we called the day of appointment and was told they would not come and would call back to reschedule never did call back. I had sent a email and they were very unprofessional in the email; they never emailed back to reschedule either after I told them the preferred method was email for I can’t use my cell phone at work. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

This place is very unprofessional. I was initially referred to them by the company I bought the refrigerator from to find out that later they were taking too long because they had to order the fridge part. They mailed the part to my house without even telling me. Now that the fridge’s part was ordered they can only come to my house if they call me a day in advance saying that they can’t guarantee if someone will be there. I explained to them that regular people have a job and that they can’t just call a day in advance saying that I have to be there. I tried coordinating other days and they keep saying that they have to call one day in advance because they don’t know if they could have someone in the area. So, in summary if they call, I need to be available the next day or they won’t provide services.
