Can't say enough positive things about this company. They're just wonderful. They've done multiple jobs for us over the years. Every single time they exceed our expectations.

I had called OBE for an emergency service call on 2/3/2017 for a commercial power fail and generator run alarm, and the tech was on site within an hour from the time of my request. I'm keeping OBE in my back pocket for the next time I need them. Chris was the tech's name, and he was on-point and got the job done ASAP. Service complete with power restored within 2-hrs of my initial request. I recommend calling OBE if you need them.

Scott has been out twice for a remodel we are doing. Great guy. Great work. They come out fast. Reasonable costs. I highly recommend them. Will definitely use again.

OBX Electric was exceptionally responsive to our request for a service call following a home inspection at our property. OBX Electric was prompt in their response to our initial inquiry, and very quick to conduct the service call and cleaning of our service disconnect to address the concerns raised. Highly recommend, very professional and highly qualified.

OBX Electric is the go-to source in the Outer Banks. Reliable, reasonably priced and dependable. Scot is really fantastic. Always takes the time to explain what's going on. He's been a lifesaver for our Duck rental several times in the last three years. And the company always has the time to get us on their schedule, even when everyone else needs service in the off-season. Highest marks for these folks.

Bobby came out today and replaced our burnt-out hall light with a new LED light. The wiring in this light was really bad, and was sparking like crazy. Not to mention that all of the switches and outlets throughout our 2,000+ are old and need replacing, which will be done in the future.

Bobby and I walked around the house, inside and out, so he could count out lights, switches, and note what type of switches we had. We will receive a bill in the mail, and a separate letter with the estimate to do the upcoming work.

Bobby himself is very polite and answered all the questions I had. I would recommend Suburban Electric, and Bobby, to anyone.

We highly recommend them for any of your electrical needs. The entire staff are extremely courteous, knowledgeable and exhibit professionalism in all that they do. They are dependable. When they tell you that they are going to do something, it’s done! Their communication is outstanding.
We had them install a Generac backup generator. The entire project was done on schedule and we were kept up to date on each step. We were so impressed that we have asked them to do the electrical work for our kitchen remodel. We will be customers of theirs for life. Thanks to all of you!

Bobby is fantastic! He came out to our condo over the past two weeks and installed 2 light fixtures, 2 ceiling fans and mounted our TV over the fireplace. The work was fantastic and he was super nice and professional. We really appreciate you Bobby! Thanks so much!

Bobby and Jace were absolutely wonderful! They were prompt, professional, did great work in a timely manner and were so patient with my crazy dog. They also caught a leak that we wouldn’t have found ourselves which is a blessing. Overall, extremely happy with the service they provided!! Bobby from Suburban Electric showed up the same day I put in the service call, had already picked up the necessary parts to do the repairs, and explained to me what he was doing during the entire repair process. Outstanding experience with Suburban. Special thanks to Bobby and Jonathan. House was basically destroyed by a broken water valve. After a few false starts with other companies, Suburban stepped in and fixed all. They came back to ensure the house was fully up to date with current code. Others would never have taken the time to talk to me live (facetime) on what they were doing both before and after they were performing the work. Truely impressed by the professionalism and HONESTY. Bobby & Josh are the dynamic duo! They arrived when they said they would. They did exactly what I asked them to do. I waited 9 months for my new gas range. Because it’s total gas, the 220 line was inappropriate. The new 110 line went in smoothly & just as I needed.
These 2 have also been to my office in Nags Head & installed a separate line for a piece of equipment. Again, professional, courteous & expert. That’s the way these guys roll!!

Julian and Otto did a great job running an additional wire through the conduit from the breaker to the hot tub and then hooking everything up. Highly recommend. Will use again on any additional electrical needs.

Suburban Electric fit me in for some chandelier replacements during a busy time, and Julia was extremely pleasant to work with. She even texted me on a day on which she was out sick to confirm the time of my appointment for the following Monday. Aric arrived exactly on time and did a great job installing our fixtures. He also made time to replace two additional wall sconces that I had not requested in my original appointment, so that I did not have to wait for another service appointment. Nothing but good things to say about my experience with Suburban.

We needed some repairs done on the light fixtures in our Kill Devil Hills location; Zach & Chris were awesome! They explained everything in detail and completed the job in a timely fashion.

I had an issue with light fixtures that had failed. Suburban Electric provided excellent customer service and came out on short notice. My technician, Josh, was great. He fixed the problem and explained what he was doing every step of the way. You don’t find quality service like that very often.
