A technician came out to repair my air conditioner wiring twice within 5 days, when the air conditioner went out the third time in the same week I was told that they wouldn't come back and was referred to another company. The next company came out and told me it was the compressor the entire time and the first technician had to be aware of it........ Im still not sure what the warranty covered. I guess it was for the first 5 days.

This company is trash! We filed a claim with our home warranty because our A/C stopped working. 24 Hour Air was sent to our house to diagnose the system. First they arrived without calling ahead of time after this was discussed the day before. Second they submitted the repair quote to the home warranty for approval, it's approved about 30 minutes later which was approximately 10:30 a.m. I know it was approved because I received an approval email giving them permission to do the repair so we could have a working A/C.

Now here's the kicker, they never called us back. So when I called 24 Hour Air the next day(a full 24 hours later) they still hadn't reached out to us about the repair. Let's just say you couldn't pay me to refer this company to anyone!!! (I wish it were possible to leave a review with ZERO stars!!

Buyer BEWARE !! - This company seems to be competent, but they did not say that they would not bill and that they want payment IMMEDIATELY, until after they were done with the work. The repairman could not wait 5 hours for the landlord to wake up, since this at 3:00 am in the morning!! Then are you ready for this, the dude took the Freon back out of my air conditioner and left!! I even had a letter from the landlord saying that they would cover any charges necessary to repair the unit. But he just could not wait for a couple of hours for the landlord to wake up !!! I am surprised he did not say CASH ONLY!!

Overall, Customer service was poor; I was not pleased with the interaction with management. It ended up appearing that the company was not being forthright and didn’t care if I incurred as much expenses as possible just to make their job as easy as possible. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

It all began a few months ago when I got linked with this company (24 hour air) through a home warranty company to fix my HVAC unit. Their technicians visited my property and confirmed that I needed a new unit altogether. After a few weeks of back and forth between the warranty company and 24 hour air, I was informed that the warranty company would cover roughly half of the expenses. Specifically, I was responsible for replacing the inside unit because it would no longer be compatible with the outside unit that the warranty company agreed to replace. I had no issues with the arrangement and was ready to move things along to have my home cooling again. It was then that this company informed me that I had to put a sizable hole in my wall before they could show up to install the unit. Mind you, I informed the technician on the phone that this hole would mean a massive opening in the wall of my living room because that is the wall backing the garage where the unit is installed. The explanation as to why I needed a hole didn’t make sense to me so I decided to obtain other opinions. I called two local HVAC companies for a second opinion and while each one confirmed that I needed a new unit, both wondered why I needed to put a hole in the wall. One suggested that 24 hour air was likely not content with the agreement with the warranty company and needed me as the customer to incur additional unnecessary expenses to make their labor as easy as possible without fully disclosing this reason to me. Each time I asked for explanation, I was told very rudely not to tell them how to do their jobs. They even refused to send a technician to come mark the space for the hole they needed.

Long story made short, I requested for a new HVAC company from the warranty company, even though I was warned that it might result in a month long delay in getting the unit fixed. I was willing to take my chances with a new company since the hot months were over. Few weeks after, I have my units installed without a massive hole in my wall that would have caused me to spend an additional $300 - $400 at a time when every dollar matters in the current pandemic economy. The new technician could only chuckle when I told him the previous guy needed me to put a massive hole in my living room before he showed up to fix the unit. I hope this helps someone. If you get connected to this company through a home warranty company, please request an alternative company if 24 hour begins to demand you incur additional expenses outside of the agreement with the warranty company.

Update. I've canceled all services with this company. After last year, they blew us off and are now claiming they no longer honor the old contract. We've reached out to another crew to take over our annual service. I would not recommend them. They basically got us to pay for the Air Purification up charge, told us they were going to sign us up for an annual contract then left us hanging.

I tried to call several times over the past few months but was told "just reply to the email we sent". After several emails and still no reply, my wife just called them again and they're still not providing us the services we paid for. Steer clear.

Brad Gowan came out for our regular spring/summer servicing today. He was on time and professional. Everyone I have worked with has been great. He suggested we install an Air Purification system and did it on the spot during the regular maintenance. I highly recommend to anyone that they sign up for a regular maintenance account with 24 Hour Air.

I am very unhappy with the service that I received. This tech Mr. Roe was very unprofessional and rude. They came to my house through our warranty work order. When he came to my house, first he did not speak. Did not ask to go upstairs he just went up stairs. Left our patio door open. He stated that the unit needed a new capacitor and the coils needed to be cleaned.

My husband asked him if he was certain that was the case as we have had the same issue last year. The unit is still cycling on and off. I reached back out to him and he stated that he needed to know how often the unit is cycling on and off. I told him I did not know but I know for sure it should not be doing it. He should have took the initiative to come back out to check the unit. I felt as though he did not want to see what was actually wrong with the unit. I asked to speak with his boss. He tells me he is not available and he is the only one I can speak too. The tech closed out my service ticket and he knew good and well that the unit was not fixed correctly. I told the tech that I no longer wanted to do business with him and he said you can contact your warranty company and have them transfer you. The way this service call went was unacceptable and I will never do business with them again.

Had 24 hour air come out for a home warranty claim for an AC that was out, the technician was rude from the start, wasn't even listening to my explanation of the situation, was disagreeing with me about what kind of system I have (I live here so I know), he messed around with the system for a few minutes, couldn't fix it and then just told the home warranty that I tampered with it so he couldn't fix. I can't speak to their service if you're a paying customer, but if you have a home warranty claim I don't think he even tried or knew how to fix it and just didn't want to bother. ****Update to my review, appreciate the snarky reply from the company, it shows how professional they are. I called another company and they fixed it in 10 minutes, blown fuse. In my original review I had the caveat that maybe 24 hour air was better if it wasn't warranty, but they weren't able to fix a blown fuse and spend more time arguing with their reviews****

I know this is late, but life happens. If I could not give any stars to leave a review I would, b/c none are deserved as the repair man was so rude and had a nasty attitude. On the initial inspection, he acted as if I couldn't give my opinion on what I thought was wrong with my A/C. On his 2nd return to my house in April to fix my A/C, I just had my carpet cleaned and asked him to take his shoes off when he came in my house to go upstairs, where I have the carpet. I had explained to him the situation and asked him to be respectful. I had slippers ready for him to use. He looked at me as if I said something wrong, then asked me "Why, I have socks on?" Excuse me? What do you mean ,why? I already explained myself, which, I shouldn't have to explain myself to anyone. This is my house...so he complied but had an attitude while he was here. I have 2 doors, a door in the front and a door in the back. The back door that takes you to the A/C, this door slams every time you enter or exit thru it, as he was aware of the door and the issue, you would think he would catch the door before it would slam, but it seems as if he did this more so out of spite. Then once he was finished with the repair, I said "thank you and told him to have a nice day", I got no response from him, he just turned and walked away. I wouldn't recommend this business to any of my friends. HORRIBLE!!!
