Jeff and his crew coordinated a flooring update, along with other home repair projects over the past few months. Excellent work and wonderful customer service!

Sigmon Construction handled a major renovation (kitchen, bath, fireplace, powder room, pantry, etc) of a condo we purchased early in 2025. We worked with them for 3 months, finalizing the plans, costs and timelines, and the next 3 months were the tear out and replace/rebuild process.
They were absolutely great to work with!!! We love our new place, and feel that the time invested in the design and plans up front was worth the speed and effectiveness of the project completion at the end. It was 'on time' and 'in budget'.
John worked with us and our designer in the 3 month design phase and was able to show us 3d renditions of every room we were modifying. Down to paint colors, cabinet style, etc. He had super ideas and was great at identifying potential issues and solving them.
During the execution phase, Bill (our project manager) was top notch, managing all the many and varied efforts (and issues) involved in turning our condo into the stylish, cozy and spacious area we now live in. We are very thankful to him...
They worked well at the complex, honoring all the condo rules and regulations. This was key to us as well!
All in all, it was a fabulous experience with them and my husband and I highly recommend them to everyone we talk to who is thinking of any type of build or renovation.
We're in the warranty period now, and they've been great in tending to any issues we've discovered as we've been living here now. (not many issued, but all tended to in a timely fashion).
Can't say enough good things about them.

Reuben, Alex, and the rest of the team understand bespoke service and work with their clients to problem solve upfront to mitigate any additional costs. I've worked with a ton of different contractors across my career and I won't work with anybody else now. They have set the bar.

CDC has proved to be a valuable partner in constructing a number of the commercial projects that my firm has designed and permitted. The ability to successfully interpret the permitted plans and maintaining solid relationships with municipal inspections staff are key ingredients in building a successful project and CDC has demonstrated both of these abilties. They have shown themselves to be both competent and experienced building professionals, able to tackle a wide range of projects and to do so on schedule and on budget.

They were able to restore the beauty of the historic building in Apex and convert it to a lovely retail space for ELK Local Foods. Even though it was a relatively small project, he stayed in constant communication, stayed on budget, and made sure the work met my needs. We contracted CDC to renovate our Wedding Venue space. We have an historic brick building in downtown Clayton and wanted to add an interior balcony to expand our capacity as well as improve the look of the facility. Reuben Stecker of Carolina Design & Construction along with his amazing crew and independent contractors completed the project in time and exactly as we envisioned it!
I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a commercial contractor. Our architect on the project, the inspectors and even our banker were extremely impressed with their work and professionalism!
