Extremely satisfied with the work done by David and Blair in installing a Tesla Wall Connector, 2 whole house surge protectors, and circuit rearrangements in the panels. Work was done after a detailed analysis of the existing home electrical load and all work was inspected without issues. Everything was done at the estimated price provided. Great job by David and Blair, and I highly recommend Wiretech for such work.

Just updating this review since a few years ago. Recently, I had the pleasure of working with both Blair and Asiel for both our Tesla charges as well as general electrical work in the house. I have been using these guys since 2018 and just have to say that to this day (despite all of the changes since the pandemic), these guys are still top notch! Starting with the customer service rep. who was extremely responsive as well as both Blair and Asiel who were extremely knowledgeable, experienced and did exceptional work. Most importantly, especially this day and age, these guys are straightforward and honest, always recommending what is best for the customer as opposed to making a quick buck. Please give this company a try if possible, I promise you will not be disappointed!!

Beware.

We contacted this company for an EV charger install. The job was paid for through my company. I will say that everyone with the company was very nice, but the end result is an absolute aesthetic disaster (see picture). I was assured by the person giving the estimate that the project would be visually acceptable. I would argue that running a line across your front door (and the entire front of the house) is an absolute non-starter and should not have been suggested in the first place. Would you want this (see picture) across your front door? Multiple neighbors have commented on it and the work has become a bit of a joke in our neighborhood.

On the day of the install, when it became apparent what the end product would look like, my Wife and I asked if they could bury the line. The installers replied that they do this type of work all the time and that it would not be a problem but that it would cost an additional 2-3K. Furthermore, they said that they couldn't change the plan once it had been submitted to the city as the inspector would approve the plan as written. The inspector came, and it was approved.

The end result was that the installers assured me that they would call me back to arrange burying the line. We are now ~ 6 weeks post install and I have not heard anything from the company. If 2-3K additional funds will be required for a reasonable aesthetic result, the company should be upfront about that. We would not have agreed to the work if we knew that the end result would be such an eyesore.

Again, everyone with the company was very nice but the end result is really problematic. I would appreciate an effort from the company to make this right. I am happy to amend the review if an acceptable solution can be reached.

I contacted Wiretech to install my charger for my Tesla and I could not have picked a better company. Customer service is a big deal to me and they had excellent customer service from the time I called to inquire about installation and it has continued after the installation was complete. They arrived on time every visit, explained each step thoroughly, and did a great job on my installation. I would not hesitate to recommend them or use their services again. Company was responsive and knowledgeable about performing this installation. Electrician doing the work was very professional and did a thorough, precise job. Company arranged the county inspection as well.

David did a great job! Was very friendly and knocked out what seemed like a very complicated install in only a few hours. Cleaned everything up and when I went out to look at it when he was done, I wouldn’t have even known he was there (besides the wall charger of course!). Look forward to using Wiretech as my go to electrician moving forward.

I had a great experience working with Wiretech to install my new home EV charger. Michael arrived as scheduled and provided a fair and thorough estimate answering all my questions. His assistant Mary is very responsive and helpful. Blair did the install later that week, also arriving when scheduled. He was very helpful answering my questions as well. He left the work area clean and charger installed to my satisfaction.

Wiretech staff are wonderful. After a quick call the assess my needs, they came out to take an in-depth look and provided an estimate within 48 hours. We scheduled the EV charger installation in two days. Blair installed everything perfectly and I was able to charge my car in 4-5 hours. Blair met with the Chapel Hill electrical inspector at our house which we passed. If you want the job done right choose Wiretech. Highly recommended.
